When is this auction?
The auction will be held on July 26th, 2014 at 5pm EST. That would be 10pm for those in BST, 4pm for CST, 3pm for MST, and 2pm for PST. You can also use this handy dandy site to help you figure out when the event will happen in your timezone!
Where is the auction?
The auction will be held in a special blast chat on AIM called [URPG Summer Beach Party!]. An AIM account will be necessary to join in on the auction. I will be creating the blast chat the day before the event, so please post your AIM name (the one you use to log in with) in this thread or contact me privately so that I may add you to the auction.
What are the auction's rules?
The same as every other auction's rules! For our new friends and also those that have never participated in an auction before (or if you need a refresher course), the rules are outlined below.
1. You must be a member of the URPG to participate.
2. Bidding starts at $1000. Raises must be at least $100 and at most $5000. Bidding ends when thirty seconds passes after a bid.
3. All bids are taken seriously. All bids are irreversible. If you bid more money than you own, even if it's only a joke, there can and will be consequences.
4. If you successfully win an auction item, you cannot bid for the remainder of the auction unless otherwise stated.
5. You can and will be kicked from the blast chat if you are a public disturbance, and you will not necessarily be given any warnings. Reasons you may be banned include but aren’t limited to: being disruptive during the bidding process, being rude about whether or not you won, not following URPG rules, etc. Use your common sense, please.
Will there be a raffle?
Yes! The good thing about the raffle is that you don't even have to show up to the auction to participate! To get in on the raffle, just post in this thread by the time the auction ends, and you'll be entered into the raffle! (I will make a post in the thread when the live auction has ended prior to me rolling that will be edited with the prizes of all participants.)

How many things will be auctioned and raffled off?
That's for me to know and for you to find out on July 26th. ;) Just know that if you think you have enough money, you probably do not have enough money. Trust me. You probably don't.
What's gonna happen after the auction?
Who knows?! Members are welcome to suggest post-auction activities such as iSketch or an FFA, and if you'd like to host them, you're welcome to do that as well.
