Great round of grades here, everybody! I really appreciate that the SWC stories were graded so quickly! As a quick reminder, don't forget to link your SWC / WWC grade into your grader log as well (I can still see it, and it makes it faster for me to get to the post. If you can't link the deleted grade, linking the claim post or the whole thread is fine too ^^)

Thanks, everybody! and enjoy! Let me know if there are any mistakes here.

  • Take These Tears Away, Moderate - 7,150 + 1k SWC!
  • Living in Death, Moderate - 11,400 + 1k SWC!
  • Pathway to the Underground, Strong Moderate - 11,700

Spoiler:
You NAILED the grammar section on the Underground's grade! There were two points I wanted to bring up quickly about the grammar in the second grade:

x.) The comma portion, while not necessarily incorrect, was not necessarily correct either. I'M HELPFUL, I KNOW. but as you said yourself in a different grade, commas can be quite flexible - as a general rule of thumb, we place them where the reader would pause if read aloud. So, placing a comma to separate an independent clause and a dependent one is actually quite fine.

"Smiles was happy to do grader wages, but hadn't looked at the logs till now." vs "Smiles was happy to do grader wages but hadn't looked at the logs till now."

See how it doesn't make too much of a difference here? It's fine with the comma there and if the sentence becomes quite convoluted we may actually want a comma there. Really small point, but yeah, thought it'd be important to bring up.

x.) Your grades are looking GREAT! :) Awesome job! A small area of improvement I see is expanding the plot section of your grades. You do a stellar job of the grammar and description section, but when it comes to the story part of it there's usually a comment of "this story was good!" which is also fine! But now say more. What are the elements of the plotline that can be improved, or specific story details that you waned to see expounded upon? How can we help this author develop a stronger plotline or ask more interesting questions for future stories? SO yeah, something that could be fun to say more about in future grades.
