Ever wanted to be thanked simply for being dragged back here every time you try to quit loyally sticking around forever? Now you can be! Was gonna wait until my actual anniversary date to claim, but I'd likely forget and just miss out on the celebrations. As such, after spending 3 years of my time here since May 2012, I'm gonna grab it now while it's on my mind. Thanks URPG, can't wait for another great year!

When I look into the past to see what was and what used to be... good times. I don't know who approached me or the exact day, but the idea was something I wanted to play: to be a Trainer and catch Pokemon and win badges. To play the gameboy game I loved so much, this time, with other people across the world. I wanted to make that journey and have that adventure!!

And now I look at the clock and realize, 'man, has it really been that long?'. 14 years this month. Where did the time go? Sometimes I wonder, is it too late to get back to that adventure? The world has changed so much since that time. I look outside and see all these changes being made but all it does is remind me of those good times I used to have. I've been in a dark place for a long time now but the URPG was always that one shining light trying to pull me out of it. Perhaps it's time to stop lurking and come out from these shadows. Might need some suntan lotion since it's been so long. And a hat. Oh, and definitely some sunglasses- it is a bit bright out.

I will not be claiming this gift because I haven't done anything to earn it. Yes, I just turned away free money!! I am, however, going to make a promise to the URPG and to myself. By next year, I want to be able to say 'I truly earned this'.
