Park Reopens!

With the final edits to the Capture Rate calc finished and Tyranitex passing his Ranger Test, we now have five Rangers (including myself) and therefore the Park can now be reopened! GO WILD! But not TOO wild XD.

If anyone needs help understanding the new Capture Rate calc just talk to me or Phoenix, btw.

I doubt a lurker would be so happey about the reopening of the park,as well as sign up right away without having to read the rules (a second time).

 

For those having trouble finding the calc (I had to comb through several threads to find the link, and even then the link didn't work...), I decided to post it here. So... here it is

Also, I think I'm going to make a directory for the Park and Sticky it in the General board. It'll have links to everything that's Stickied so people don't have to search through pages and pages hunting for one tiny thing.

 

I just use this one. Idk who made it or how old it is but I just use it.

 

that calc is the normal reffing calculator that refs use for battles on aim.

Heh, that's for determining damage and stuff. The other calc is for determining capture rate; you need to use the latter to see if the Trainer catches a Pokemon, not the former.

Chain, what part are you having problems with? PM me or Phoenix if you can't understand something.

Also, is the Park Directory helping anyone?

 

Oh, yes. The park directory has been AMAZINGLY helpful. Before it was made I was clueless, but now, much has become clear. In fact, I'm even applying to be a ranger.

 

Uhh, I think there way be a problem with the calc. When the MCR is quite a lot over (like, two grand or so) the capture rate drops to 0%.

 

Its not broken, the max is 1000. And I haven't got around to adding more than that.
