The short bursts of wind we got, sent shivers down my spine as I made for the caves. I tightened my jumper and zipped it up a little more. I blew onto my red-tipped fingers to try and heat them up, watching my breath form before me like little clouds that quickly faded away. Out through the dense fog, I could see a cave, or was it a mountain. I couldn't tell until I had gotten much closer and then I noticed a Ranger standing just outside it. The hole in the mountainside confirmed my suspicions of it being a cave and I summoned Alakazam.

"Zam, use a Shock wave attack to illuminate the cave."

The entrance was to the North, I think.

After entering the cave, we were greeted by an ugly-looking boulder. Suddenly, it sprang to life leaping up high into the air. I realised that it was a Geodude when its slits in the rock popped open revealing two coal-black eyes.

"Geo, Geo dude!" it cried.

There wasn't gonna be anything getting in our way so we had to get rid of this Geodude, so we could continue on our way.

"Go, Alakazam," I called out, tossing a Pokeball into the air. A Pokemon, similar to and old, wise mand with a spoon clutched in either hand materialised. "Zam, finish that Geodude with an Energy Ball attack. It is 4x Super effective and you're so powerful so I know you can weaken it enough for us to be allowed pass by in peace!"

Your Alakazam defeats the Geodude with ease. The wild Pokemon immediately retreats, leaving behind a Candy Ball in its haste. You pocket the item, and can now move on through either the exit to the North or the exit to the East.

OOC: To speed up the process, feel free to tell me which exit you'd like to go through in the OOC whenever you enter a new room, even if there is a battle. Also, do you know if the item drop roll after each battle in this event needs to be witnessed? I didn't do it this time because I wasn't sure and there were no Rangers online, but I'd like to know for sure. At any rate, I rolled it in [URPG] just in case (though I didn't specify it was an event roll).

Alakazam fired off a powerful ball of green and blue energy at the Geodude. The Goedude had no time to dodge the sleedy attack and I saw it smash into its face. Geodude looked annoyed but just scuttled off into the corner.

Without Geodude blocking the path I could see an exit to the north and an exit to the east.

"Let's try go to the North!" I said excitedly. I had not yet really thought of a strategy to make it out of these caves, so I thoyght guessing and going with potluck might be fun.

OOC: North again

After deciding to go North, the direction my compass had informed me was north anyway, we enterred a much larger, cavern-like room. Inside on the ground was one little black cloak. I looked at it, somewhat confused. I informed Zam to use his Psychic powers to test whether it was a trap or not. Suddenly, the cloak sprang to life and cried out to us.

"Shuppet, pet!" it yelled.

"Oh, it's a Shuppet. Don't worry, Alakazam, they are Ghost types which means they are weak to Ghost typed moves. Slam it with a Shadow Ball."

Alakazam began to form a dark ball of greys, blacks and other dark colours and readied to fire it at the swirling cloak.

Once again, your Alakazam has no problem scaring off the basic Pokemon. The Shuppet angrily tosses some Popcorn Balls at you before running away. You pocket the Popcorn Balls and move on, continuing north. You encounter a much stronger Pokemon than the ones you have defeated previously: Kingdra.

OOC: Was that a mistake or is there an exit to the south and one from the south? Also, North again if I beat Kingdra.

Alakazam fired off the black swirling orb which smacked Shuppet right head on to the face. I chuckled a little chuckle as the Shuppet fired off some popcorn balls and disappeared. After which, we decided to move onto the next room.

Inside I saw a large, magestic looking Dragon type Pokemon. It was a serene shade of blue and had a bit of a sneer on its face.

"Alakazam, try Psychic and Energy Ball! They'll surely hit this Kingdra hard!"

OOC: Yeah it was a typo. It should say you came from the South (obviously because in the previous room it was north, but after going through the exit it is now south of you) and there is an exit to the North - no more than that.

Your Alakazam graces the battlefield again. He uses a combination of Psychic followed up by Energy Ball. Kingdra manages to shake off the attack, and gives thought to fleeing. However, it decides against it and retaliates with a Dragon Pulse. The move deals a moderate amount of damage to your Alakazam.
