    Alex slowly approached the docks, his head buried in a small map, which was given to him by a young blonde lady at the National Park Front Desk. Alex was participating in the annual National Park Halloween Event. It was his job to search through caves and find specific items. Alex raised his head from the map and walked towards the lake edge, hoping to meet his ranger, who would take him through the event.

    Instead of a ranger, he noticed a small letter pinned to the wooden fence. It read: Welcome to the docks, Alex. Please enter the cave when you're ready.

    Alex glanced up and noticed a small trail leading into a large cave like the ones in Meteor Valley. "Ready Lucario?" Alex said to his Lucario, who had been following him since they set off from home.
    They walked into the cavern....

    Alex walked into the cave, with Lucario by his side. The atmosphere was different, it was a lot more quiet and spooky. Water drops dripping down from the ceiling crashing down on the floor. Alex scanned the box like room and noticed a small opening ahead, heading westwards. Just as Alex was about to walk forward, he heard a loud roar echoing through the tunnels, something scary and big was down here.

    "Let's go Westwards, I am sure it will lead to some items," Alex asked Lucario. Lucario nodded in agreement.

    As Lucario and Alex slowly walked through the cave leading towards a small box room. As Alex took a step forward, a small round owl-like brown bird with very large red eyes, swooped down and perched on a small root, that was sticking out vertically. Lucario looked psyched up and immediately stepped forward.

    "Alright Lucario, use Swords Dance then followed by Force Palm" Alex commanded to Lucario. Lucario knelt down on one knee, waiting to see what Hoothoot would do first, and try and counter. Alex remembered when he obtained Lucario. It was from a friend, who happened to be working at the the National Park. Since then, Lucario and Alex have formed a strong bond of friendship.

    Hoothoot began to examine Lucario before trying an Echoed Voice, helped slightly by the small room. Lucario's Force Palm whalloped the startled bird so it flew back from wence it came. It dropped some Scareecrow straw as it fled!

    "Alright Lucario, use Swords Dance then followed by Force Palm" Alex commanded Lucario.

    Lucario knelt down on one knee and slammed his fist on the hard ground. As he smacked his fists down, a white ray erupted from the ground, in a sword shape. It white rays dissolved into Lucario's body, increase the strength of the fox like Pokemon. Hoothoot quickly tilted its head, like a confused dog. Almost like it was identifying Lucario. There was a move like that, called Foresight. It was a move used against Ghost Pokemon so they can use Fighting and Normal moves.

    Lucario had enough and sprinted towards Hoothoot, with his palm wide open and collided with the round brown bird. Hoothoot crashed into the ground, however it suddenly produced a loud noise, that pierced the eardrums of Lucario. Hoothoot landed on the floor and quickly scampered away into the depths of the caves. A small piece of Scareecrow straw was left behind. Alex bent down and placed it into his bag.

    "Time to go North," Alex said to Lucario.
