ECC: Ebell

As you arrive at Deckbi, the hottest place in the park, you feel a slight tremor. Your first thought is the volcano and you realize that however dumb it is, but you want to go inside (because everyone likes going inside a volcano after feeling a tremor). You feel like exploring inside a volcano today. On the other hand, you also notice a path to a hot spring that could be both enjoyable and beneficial to yourself. Both could contain interesting Pokemon so you decide to flip a coin...

I was truly excited about today, because it was my first chance to participate in a capture contest at the National Park, and the idea seemed intriguing. Last time I took part in an event here was to get ready for the opening of the ruins, by trying to make my way through a maze. That was a lot of fun, and I even managed to win it. Though this time around the concept was very different.

I decided to come to Deckbi, because well you could almost always find a Pokemon worth capturing here, and it was the home of Litwick. I wasn't here to hunt for a Litwick, or anything, I just love them, so I enjoy being in their home area.

I'd figured that I would bring Gardevoir around as my Pokemon, because I haven't used it in quite sometime, and I always use Ambipom, Scizor, and Chandelure. The former two actually accompanied my last contest I did, so I wanted to shake things up a bit. She was a pretty handy Pokemon, with a nice movepool, so naturally I would have no problems against using her. Plus with her Psychic powers it meant she could communicate with me telepathically, making things a whole lot easier when needing to confirm something with her.

I arrived at the area, and felt a slight tremor. At this point I think of the volcano, and kinda want to go into it, cause I feel like something interesting could be there waiting for me, and I like to go running right into these sort of things. Course at the same time I notice a path, that led to a hot spring. A hot spring is always nice, but the volcano seemed more interesting. I figured I'd solve this, like I do all of lives hard choices, with a coin flip.

"Okay, heads is the volcano, and tails is the path," I said as I pulled a quarter out of my wallet. I went on to flip it, and it came up as heads. The volcano it was.

"Let's go, and find out what's waiting for us on this adventure, Gardevoir!" I said to her, who seemed to also be interested by this, no matter how reckless it could be.

You flipped, volcano it was. You make your way there. Once you reach the outside of the volcano, you encounter your first Pokemon... Charmander! What an awesome start!

OOC: Work is taking away my motivation to even do this.

IC: We started heading towards the volcano, like the coin flip dictated, because I'd never go against the will of the coin. I didn't know what five Pokemon were awaiting me, but I did know that Deckbi was home to a few interesting ones, just like its counterpart, Oktori, so I had some hopes. Guess only time could show me though if there was anything that I wanted to deal with.

We walked to the outer area of the volcano, and there a challenger was waiting for us. It was a lizard/reptile like creature. It was mainly orange in color, but it underside was cream colored. It had relatively sharp claws, and a flame burning on the end of its tail. This was actually a pretty cool Pokemon, but it wasn't all that rare, and I already owned one to begin with.

"Hey look, Gardevoir, it's a Charmander," I said, pointing at the creature. "I'm sure you already know how I feel towards this one," I said, as she nodded her head, and I turned my attention back to the wild Pokemon.

"Let's try to get away from this thing, and see what else is waiting for us out there. Who knows, maybe next will be something we want. Or maybe not, so I won't readily throw the Pokedoll just yet if we can't get away, until I make up my mind."

Charmander does not wish to leave you and launches a Flamethrower at Gardevoir to commence battle. Will you attempt to dodge and try to evade again or battle it to teach it a lesson.
