    -----------------------------------

You begin to trace the outer edge of the large environment when a Wynaut emerges from the trees around the border. It smiles due to it finally finding an opponent in this lonely valley.

Scene: there's a wide, open valley. Yes, a valley is normally open. The valley covers over hills and it's outer surroundings contain trees, flowers, water sources, the usual wildlife necessities. A sun ray barely peaked between the round hills. One person stood before the breasts of the valley. Her body height stood to a nice, simple five feet and eleven inches. What was a flow of long red hair was now a blonde colored, medium-length style. Bangs were across her entire forehead, but separated at the left corner. The pair of creamy, honey-brown eyes continued to stare nonchalantly. All the nerves felt calm and relaxed. Never was it too early. to be here. Her eyes darted down to a wrist-watch. The time said it was six, thirty-nine A.M. and the sun had barely rose. Brooklyn wore a soft, fuzzy, but slightly heavy coat poncho that had red and purple zig-zag stripes.

Next to the girl stood a Pokemon whose height is 3'11" and resembled a monkey. His weight may seem light, but for his height, he was ripped. The Pokemon's skin's base color was a red oak. Then he had a white fur that acted as a torso. The torso-fur wrapped the outer-edge of his face. On the wrists, shoulders, chest, and knees were these golden swirls. Below the knees, the Pokemon had white fur. It had fingers and toes, as a well a tail, and a flame-based mimicry. Infernape was his name. He stood beside his trainer and kept his guard up in case a Pokemon were to appear then jump his trainer. She was a bit out of it, which is normal for any patient who had undergone a tranquilizer the day before a run in the National Park.

Brooklyn slid out a pamphlet. A messenger bag rested on Brooklyn's opposite shoulder via a shoulder strap. "I didn't even sign up for this..." Brooke stated and unfolded the pamphlet to get more information. She had received a pamphlet that had information on a captured contest. Was she entered? Nope. Did she willingly join without a single word to anyone? Yes. Brooke paused and thought she saw something. She shook her head. It would be no surprise that she was seeing things. After all, the day before, she was just at a mental ward. Her stare flickered back to the valley. Infernape moved his eyes. So, he too had heard something. Then there it was and they had faced the creature. Brooke squatted to meet the Pokemon's height.

"I see now..." Brooklyn said, "...hey there," she smiled and then brought out her hand. Her hand pointed downward with the fingers touched together and then started to do a light wave. "Shoo," Brooke enunciated; what did he want, a battle? A Wynaut was easy. Brooke turned her head and eyed her Infernape. His eyes were glued onto the little blue thing. Clearly, he wanted a battle. "Fine," Brooke said and returned to her stance. Guess some things she just can't help. She slid a hair-clip out of her messenger bag, and then used her hands to gather her hair. The hair-clip was placed to help keep her hair up and out of the way. This will be the start of an interesting battle. More so on Infernape's part, not so much on Wynaut's.

"It's a boy..." Brooke said to Infernape, "...so, it's OK to go rough."

Yes, Brooklyn had a rule. If it was a female Pokemon, they would not attack too harshly. However, if it was a male, that Pokemon better prepare for quite a battle. "Let's start off with a taunt," Brooklyn said and made the first move. The chimpanzee-breed nodded his head then stepped forth into the battle field. He cocked his head to the side and started to speak.

"In-fer-nape, In-In, fer, nape," Infernape spoke. He made his normal cries that were meant to challenge the Wynaut. His words were nothing close to friendly. The focus was to try to put Wynaut in a state where he was taunted and could not rely on certain moves that don't attack. An example: mirror coat. Brooklyn had hoped that taunt worked.

"OK Infernape," she said and began to make a second move, "Will-o-wisp."

Infernape nodded to signify that he received the order. There was no reassurance that he would hit the target and inflict a burn. He puffed up his chest, and then a bluish-white flame gathered at the core of his mouth. Infernape tilted his head back and then tried to unleash the sinister flame. An intense fire would not create a move-based damage, but would inflict their opponent with a burn for a couple of turns. "OK Infernape," Brooklyn said, "One last move for now, use bulk-up." Infernape once again nodded to confirm the move. His muscles started to tense to attempt to bulk-up his body. For now, they'll have to wait to see what happens with their attacks.

Infernape cracked his head like a tough guy about to fight and started sputtering random syllables. Wynaut got an angered look on his face; but when he tried to throw a punch at Infernape, his flabby arms could barely do a thing. It ended up hurting Wynaut more from what I saw. Infernape took a deep breath and then let out a small blue puff of fire. It collided straight at Wynaut's center and burst into blue flames. Infernape then pounded his fist into his hand and tightened his muscles. All Wynaut could do was hopelessly struggle on both attacks from his blind rage
