Joe wondered up the concrete path that lead to the the first outpost of Meteor Valley. As he was walking up, a large purple Pokemon started to waddle along beside him.

"Keep up Slowking, no wonder why the call you Slow..." Joe said but couldn't finish his sentence because a cold jet out of water collided with his face. Joe turned to Slowking and smiled, Joe was out of order for calling Slowking slow.

Ahead of them was a young trainer who was standing alone. Joe removed a small piece of paper and scanned it. He looked up for one second and then buried his face in the paper again. He rised and smiled at the trainer and said, "Titus Oceanus? I am your new trainer."

As Joe said this a small gray Pokemon wondered over to Titus and started to rub his head against his leg. Joe smiled and said, "Well this run has gotten of quickly, would you like to battle this Poocheyna?"
