Buzz relaxed in the staff break room of ranger headquarters, surrounded by James and Ivy. It was rare for them all to be free at any one point.

"I'm trying to get the wages raised, but I only got this promotion a few weeks ago, so I don't have that much swing with the boss yet," James said rather dissapointedly. James had been a ranger the longest out of the three of them, but they were all good friends.

"Ha, you're such a wimp. We are so under appreciated and you just moan about that," Buzz mocked, as he usually did. Buzz and his partner River Tam, his Xatu, had passed just before Ivy. He was about six foot and usually wore a T-shirt and Jeans almost exclusively, and today was no exception. His top was that of a band, with a rather explicit image of a scantily clothed lady on it.

"Oh, leave him alone, Buzz," Ivy said looking over at him, rolling her eyes. She quickly sighed after glancing down at his top and turned back to James, "James, don't worry about it, although I do agree with the sarcastic git over there, we need a pay rise. You keep bugging Boss-Sama."

Buzz just rolled his eyes, Ivy was always one to jump to whomever Buzz was mocking's defense. "Sorry, Ivy," Buzz said with no hint of sincerity. "Why don't you go check the mail, you may have another letter."

Ivy did not look impressed, but Buzz just burst into laughter, as he got up. Opening the door he bumped into Joe, another ranger who finished the academy not long after him. Joe's baseball cap hit Buzz in the face.

"Oi, watch where you're going," Buzz said, "oh and watch out for Ivy, she might be in somewhat of a mood now."

After Buzz had said bye to the collection of rangers, he walked up to the main desk and looked over the recent sign up forms.

"Claimed, claimed, claimed..." he said as he rifled through the peices of paper. "Hahaha, this one is a fake right? Hugh G. Rection. Hey Madison, this isn't a real trainer is it." Buzz waved the piece of paper in front of the beautiful receptionist whilst in fits of laughter.

"Yeah, I watched him fill it out, the kids only nine, so go easy on him, Buzz," Madison said inbetween bursts of giggles.

"Oh great, a nine year old, doesn't the park have some kind of minimum age," Buzz said. He took the form and rushed back to his office, he quickly gathered up his supplies and proceeded to wait outside the headquarters for his trainer. He released River Tam, the Xatu, from her Park Ball. She fluttered around his head befor landing gently on his shoulder.

Hugh G. Rections, Buzz thought, laughing at the name.

"You know I should tell Ivy, that you are thinking about huge erections," River said telepathically.

Haha, no its the name of my latest trainer. Buzz waved the sign up form in front of River's face.

Hugh emerged from the bathroom, his hands on either side of him, shaking. Being a little douchebag, he couldn't be bothered with silly things such as drying his hands off after washing his hands. So instead, he had to be an inconsiderate little beast and shake dry his hands, getting water all over his surroundings. The door slammed behind him, with a resounding THUD that echoed down the hallway. He walked down the hall from the bathroom back into the lobby where the pretty lady was sitting at her desk. When he opened the door into the lobby, he saw an unusual, tall man standing near the front desk.

“Oh great, a nine year old, doesn't the park have some kind of minimum age”

Hugh became enraged hearing this. “Why does my age matter!?”, he though, clenching his fists as his sides. His face tensed up and turned a crimson red color(well, deeper red than usual, he is a ginger after all). As he glared at the tall man, who had yet to notice the small child, the man pulled a Poke Ball from his waist. He released a large, green, bird Pokemon from it, which promptly landed on his shoulder.

Unphased, Hugh stomped up to the man in a blind rage. The man seemed to be in a trance-like state for a moment and didn't notice the boy(not to mention he is also quite short you see). Within seconds, the boys small, size 6 shoe was already planted firmly between the mans testicles. “Afternoon JERK!!!” shouted the boy.

The pretty woman behind the desk began to laugh and point at the man as he slumped over onto the ground, reeling in pain from his genital trauma. “Is THIS GUY the one who has to take me through the park!?” the boy exclaimed, “ That SUCKS!!! Can I have a BETTER ranger!? One who isn't insulting toward his clients!?”

At this point, Hugh had been reduced to stomping around in a circle, kicking at the floor, and just raging in general in the area around the man laying upon the floor. The woman behind the desk had become useless, still reeling back in her chair, laughing at the man lying on the ground.

Buzz did not see the small child appear, worse though, he didn't see the small child aim a kick directly at Buzz. A burst of pain worse than any child birth pain that women complained about. Buzz keeled over in agony as River burst into telepathic laughter.

"Afternoon, Jerk!" the small child yelled at the now fetal Buzz. Buzz groaned and crawled back to his feet as the small child requested a new ranger. and raging into a temper tantrum.

"Look kid, chill out. It was a joke," Buzz said in a higher pitch voice than his normal. "Come on, lets get going. See you later, Madison." Buzz limped off with Hugh following just behind. It's going to be a long day.

"Well, Hugh, I'm Buzz, i'll be guiding you round the park. You wanted to go to the Botanic Gardens, so we can just walk are there any particular Pokémon you would hope to encounter?" Buzz said trying to regain some normality. "I see you brought along a Cottonee disk, lets hope it attracts one, you can set it off whenever."

"Look kid, chill out. It was a joke," the man said in a higher pitch voice than his normal. "Come on, lets get going. See you later, Madison." Hugh followed behind the man, grumbling about his hat being weird, the color of his shoes, his choice of Pokemon partner, whether or not his socks matched, and other various and minor grievances of the small boy. Hugh looked up at the rather large bird sitting atop the mans shoulder. It gave him a eerie feeling... but he couldn't quite put his finger on what.

“Its because, just like you and I, they are telepathically communicating,” Hugh heard from inside his first Poke Ball. In that ball was his Gardevoir, Serena. The child, having no parents of his own(he was abandoned as a child because he was a ginger), was often somewhat mothered by his gentle, kind partener.

“WOW, what an ass! I bet he's talking about me right now to his bird thing RIGHT NOW!!!” exclaimed Hugh in a fit of telepathic rage. Little did he realize, he was in fact doing the same thing that he was accusing the strange man of. Serena was about to explain this fallacy to Hugh, but her monologue was interrupted by the man.

"Well, Hugh, I'm Buzz, i'll be guiding you round the park. You wanted to go to the Botanic Gardens, so we can just walk are there any particular Pokémon you would hope to encounter?I see you brought along a Cottonee disk, lets hope it attracts one, you can set it off whenever."

“... and thats why you should really watch what you say,” said Serena, finishing her monologue. Unfortunately for her, she had been completely ignored by her trainer.

“HAHA, WHAT KIND OF NAME IS BUZZ?!” laughed Hugh to Serena, “What kind of parents name their child BUZZ?!” Serena sighed, Hugh was often an overbearing trainer and very difficult at times. Serena couldn't help but love and watch over him though, as if he were her own child.

As they headed out of the main office, Hugh turned to Buzz. “So Mr. Buzz, oh great and most exhalted ranger of mine,” said the boy in a manner most condescending, “I would in fact VERY MUCH like to use my Cottonee disc RIGHT NOW! Unfortunately, I have no idea how to operate this player? Also, why does the disc only work once? I don't really understand that.” After finishing his speech, the little ginger boy grinned. Using all his willpower, he managed to not smirk in a way that would make it obvious that he was essentially trolling Buzz.

I don't really understand that,” Hugh said with no veiled note of cynicism. Buzz raised his eyebrows, his ranger training hadn't prepared him for dealing with this level off immaturity. He shrugged it off.

"It's fairly straightforward, here let me help you with it," Buzz said sincerely. Lifting the player and disk labelled Cottonee from Hugh, he quickly had the disk slotted in and passed the machine back to the trainer. "Now, you just press play, right there. And it only lasts for five calls of the Pokémon because the material we use to capture the calls of the wild Pokémon is rare and degrades when subjected to continual electrical energy. We are working to extend the usage but don't expect anything soon."

Hugh, rather characteristically, was already mashing the play button as Buzz said this. A high pitched squeek played from the device. Buzz pulled out his pokedex and did a quick search for Cottonee, he thought he should be prepared in case the Pokemon proved too much for the young trainer. The electronic voice sounded just after the cry of the Cottonee.

"Cottonee; The cotton puff Pokémon. When attacked, it escapes by shooting cotton from its body. The cotton serves as a decoy to distract the attacker."​

Buzz glanced through its moves until another squeek could be heard coming from a nearby bush, soon as a gust of wind picked up a small ball of fluff floated out infront of them. Mostly white with two small green leaves that appeared to be ears. Its orange eyes blinked as it began to circle the young trainer.

"Well, not everyone is as lucky as you it seems, Cottonee here appeared as your first encounter. Do you wish to try and battle it?" Buzz asked his trainer as he did so the Cottonee looked up to the sky and an orange aura began to suround it, the sky began to brighten. The sun's light grew bright and turned harsh. "It's used Sunny Day, be warned Fire type moves will be more powerful, and you don't want to over power it if you want to capture it."

The Cottonee began to dart around the field at high speed. Buzz soon lost track of the grass type, Buzz was confused, and quickly returned to his Pokédex. "Huh that's curious it says here that Cottonee's abilities are either Infiltrator or Prankster, neither of which raised speed," Buzz said, "this guy must have unlocked some hidden ability as that effect reminds me of Chlorophyll."

Hugh, however, wasn't even listening to what Buzz had to say. “LETS GOOOOOOOO SERENA!!!” Hugh shrieked at the top of his nine year old lungs. He tossed the first ball on his belt into the air. White light vomitted out of the Poke Ball and shot towards the ground like a bolt of lightning. Once making contact with the ground, the light formed into a rounded blob and quickly formed a human-like shape. Then, the white light dissipated, leaving in its place a tall, green and white Pokemon.

“You know what to do Serena!!!” shouted the small ginger, snickering a bit to himself. The Gardevoir turned towards its opponent and stared at it. It watched the small cotton Pokemon dart across the clearing. After following Cottonee's movements for a minute, Serena raised its arms so they were perpendicular to the line created from its head to its feet. It began glowing a bright yellow color. It was taking in sunlight! Suddenly, it dashed across the field at an amazing speed!

“Nice work! Now lets not waste time Serena, use Reflect and angle that sunlight right at Cottonee!” ordered Hugh. Serena dashed to the other side of the field, placing Cottonee between Serena and the sun. Serena placed its hands forward as if it were a mime pretending to be creating a fake wall. It closed its eyes and focused its energy. Slowy, a blue wall of energy formed in front of Serena. Serena angled the wall toward the more toward the sun until it was reflecting light right at Cottonee. The intensely bright rays of the sun hit blinded Cottonee.

“Alright Serena, take this chance to fire a Shadow Ball at it!” commanded Hugh in an excited tone, “OH! Use Psychic to increase the Shadow Balls acceleration and hit Cottonee at a higher speed!”

Serena looked at Hugh with a troubled look. “Are you sure about this... that seems a little harsh for such a small Pokemon...”

“Just do it!” snarled Hugh at Serena. Serena frowned, but began swirling her hands around in the shape of a ball. A small purplish-black ball began forming. Once it had reached about six inches in diameter, which was fairly small for a Shadow Ball, Serena launched it at the small cotton Pokemon. Then Serena closed its eyes, focusing, and placed its hands in front of its body, facing toward the Shadow Ball. Then it winced and a transparent wave of psychic energy rippled through the air, propelling the Shadow Ball toward the small Pokemon at a slightly faster speed. Hugh scowled at the lack of zeal Serena put into the attack, but he was used to it. Serena had always been this way.

 

OOC: I don't know why you were worried about me going easy on you, you're rping is actually very good Keep it up. I may start to increase the difficulty I don't want it to be too easy for you. Also what gender would you like Cottonee to be?

Buzz wasn't entirely sure that Hugh had been listening as he released his Gardevoir for battle. Buzz was also unsure as to whether the youth would be able to control himself if the Cottonee got to low health, due to his somewhat eager personality.

As the Gardevoir, called Serena, was released a bright yellow aura erupted and Serena's speed sky rocketted. Buzz realised immediately Serena's ability was Trace, which copied the opponents ability.

"Use Reflect and angle the sun into Cottonee's eyes," ordered Hugh. Buzz was surprised it was a interesting tactic and not what he had expected.

Serena began to form the faint aura shield, but imbibed it with more energy than was typical. The bright rays of the sun focussed of the mirror and were directed at the Cotton Puff Pokémon. The Cottonee was blined by the bright light and tried to fire off a Leech Seed, but it was sent in completely the wrong direction.

“Alright Serena, take this chance to fire a Shadow Ball at it!” commanded Hugh in an excited tone, “OH! Use Psychic to increase the Shadow Balls acceleration and hit Cottonee at a higher speed!”

Buzz was impressed by the originality of the combination, but Gardevoir's tended to be oh a healing and calm nature so he wasn't sure if it was the most suited to Serena's battling style.

The ominous looking sphere of energy was forced from Serena's hands non the less, and spiraled its way towards the foe. Buzz noticed it wasn't an extremely large Shadow Ball, Buzz assumed Serena wanted to oblige Hugh but refrained from throwing her full power behind the attack.

The Purple waves of the Psychic attack spinning the Shadow Ball ever closer to its target shimmered in the bright light reflected from the Sun. Cottonee tried to react but saw the ball much two late and was hit. It fell to the grassy floor.

The knock to the floor seemed to have recovered Cottonee's sense of sight. Its eyes scanned across the grassy battlefields, that were common place in the gardens, trying to formulate a plan of attack. It burst into action speeding around the Gardevoir, soon it was moving so fast, replicas were left in its place. More and more appeared till they surrounded Serena.

The blur of Cottonee's movements remained between the collection of replicas. Suddenly a swarm of leaves were heading directly towards Serena. Razor Leaf, fired from each replica as Cottonee passed through the position.

Not only would Hugh have to to figure out the real Cottonee, that many Razor Leaf Attacks could really hurt. Buzz thought, as the first wave of leaves struck Serena and more were soon approaching.

The Purple waves of the Psychic attack spinning the Shadow Ball ever closer to its target shimmered in the bright light reflected from the Sun. Cottonee tried to react but saw the ball much two late and was hit. It fell to the grassy floor.*

The knock to the floor seemed to have recovered Cottonee's sense of sight. Its eyes scanned across the grassy battlefields, that were common place in the gardens, trying to formulate a plan of attack. It burst into action speeding around the Gardevoir, soon it was moving so fast, replicas were left in its place. More and more appeared till they surrounded Serena.*

The blur of Cottonee's movements remained between the collection of replicas. Suddenly a swarm of leaves were heading directly towards Serena. Razor Leaf, fired from each replica as Cottonee passed through the position.

As the leaves hurdled towards Serena, she stood on the ready for orders. “Serena, what are you waiting for!? GET OUT OF THERE!!!” raged Hugh,” Teleport somewhere nearby the Cottonees if you could POSSIBLY manage it!” Serena closed her eyes and focused. Just as the leaves were closing in, Serena disappeared, the leaves rushing right through the air in which Serena had been standing. She re-materialized somewhere off to the right of the main group of Cottonee.

“Alright, now use magical leaf to pinpoint the REAL Cottonee!!!” ordered Hugh. The properties of this attack would allow it to hit its target without fail, weeding out the fake Cottonees. Serena through her arms upward, kicking up the leaves around her. They floated, unmoving in the air around Serena for a moment. Then with a swift, downward motion of her left arm, the leaves rushed forward, tearing through the group of Cottonee clones. The Cottonee began rushing off in many different directions trying to avoid the leaves. The moving cloud of leaves finally bombarded one of the Cottonees, identifying it as the real one.

“Serena, GET OVER THERE QUICKLY AND USE DOUBLE TEAM TO SURROUND IT!!!” shrieked Hugh in a very angry tone. Serena, using the Chlorophyll it had copied from Cottonee, moved towards its target with blinding speed. It stopped roughly fifteen feet of the target and raised its arms straight out and begin focusing its psychic energy. Suddenly, copies of Serena spread in a circle around Cottonee.

“NOW SERENA, TAUNT IT!” bellowed Hugh, jumping up and down in excitement. The copies of Serena began taunting Cottonee, which was bound to make it angry. "Serena," said Hugh with their Team-lepathy (as Hugh like to call it),"sneak up behind Cottonee and put it to sleep with Hypnosis!" Serena began quietly positioning itself directly behind Cottonee. “DO IT NOW SERENA, USE HYPNOSIS!!” shrieked Hugh in a fit of telepathic anger. The real Serena placed her hands on her forehead and emitted a soothing noise from her mouth coupled with waves of psychic energy. It was just inches from the unsuspecting Cottonee.

 

OOC: I know when you want to have lots of stuff going on, you need stuff to hit, but yeah you aren't meant to control the wild Pokémon or say attacks hit.

BP:
“Serena, what are you waiting for!? GET OUT OF THERE!!!” raged Hugh,” Teleport somewhere nearby the Cottonees if you could POSSIBLY manage it!”

In a sudden flash Serena had disappeared from with in the circle of Cottonee's and reappeared outside. The Razor Leaf attacks all connected with each other where Serena had been moments ago, they exploded into green confetti.

Cottonee was continuing to spin in its circle of illusions. Hugh instructed Serena to use Magical Leaf to determine the real Cottonee. The leaves Gardevoir created swept rapidly through the fake Cottonee's before striking the target. It didn't seem to do much damage but that wasn't the aim of the attack.

Hugh called out for Serena to use the same tactic the Cottonee had used, Serena naturally oblidged. Soon the battlefield was once again covered with multiple copies of a Pokémon. A large ring of Gardervoir's surrounded the small white Pokémon.

“NOW SERENA, TAUNT IT!” bellowed Hugh, jumping up and down in excitement. Buzz wasn't entirely sure how he managed to keep up this level of shouting and screaming. Meanwhile the ring of Gardevoirs began taunting the Cottonee, but Buzz noticed that nothing was actually happening. Cottonee seemed to shrug off the Taunt.

"Moves like Taunt can fail against Pokémon of certain natures, looks like Cottonee might just be one of them," Buzz said to Hugh.

Cottonee looked at the ring of Gardevoirs and began to wink as small pink love hearts appeared all around it. Cottonee blew kisses to each and every one of the copies of Serena. One hit the mark. Serena's eyes glazed over as she stared hopelessy at the small Pokémon. Buzz took a step back from Hugh, avoiding the imminent rage explosion that was sure to come.

Buzz looked at the youth and saw his expression, assuming he was commanding Serena telepathically as he often did with River. Sure enough Serena began to emit a soothing noise, psychic energy began to pulse from her body. Suddenly her eyes glazed over dreamily once more and the psychic energy stopped. Buzz wasn't sure how much of the Hypnosis attack had hit the Cottonee. He was certain that Serena was conflicted by her new love for the wild Pokémon.

His eyes seemed foggy as if he was drowzy but it was still active, a puff of fluff erupted around its body as it used Cotton Guard. "That's Cotton Guard, it raises the users defense dramatically," Buzz pointed out to Hugh.

"UUUUUGGGGHHHHH," groaned Hugh," that is SOOOOOOOOOOOO UNCOOL!" Then he commanded Serena telepathically, "I can see you're not totally into this and I'm a bit fed up with it, you're outta here!" Serena only nodded as he removed her poke ball from his belt and pressed the button, calling her back.

"Alright lets FINISH THIS BETTY!!!" Hugh cried as he tossed another poke ball into the air. In a blinding white flash of light, a large purple bat emerged from the poke ball. It burst out into the open air, raring for a fight. Its muscles twitched in anticipation. Then its eyes set themselves on the small cotton pokemon. Betty seemed to sigh a bit, realizing that its opponent was small, weakened, and half asleep.

"I'm getting REALLY TIRED OF THIS THING BETTY!! LETS JUST FINISH THIS!! SET UP A HAZE TO TRAP IT INSIDE. THEN USE YOUR SUPERSONIC TO FIND ITS LOCATION AND FLY INTO THE HAZE AND HIT IT WITH AN XSCISSOR!! AVOID THIS ONE YOU STUPID PIECE OF COTTON!!" Betty seemed please with her orders. A cool, light-blue fog began to emit from Betty's mouth, as she quickly rushed around the battefield in a circle, covering the whole thing in the blue mist. "Also, Betty, when you've carried out those orders, get rid of the mist with Defog. I'm ready to WRAP THIS UP!" Betty nodded, smiling its wide, frightening smile while circling the field.

 

"UUUUUGGGGHHHHH," groaned Hugh," that is SOOOOOOOOOOOO UNCOOL!" Buzz just chuckled at the childs reaction it was hard to avoid mocking him, but he knew he had to be professional. A beam of red light erupted from Serena's Poké Ball as she was withdrawn.

He gave a yell as he released his Crobat. Instructing it to use Haze to cloud the Cottonee's vision it also had the added benefit of clearing all boost effects. Buzz wasn't entirely sure how a bit of smog did this but oh well. That's Pokémon.

The purple smoke filled the battle field surrounding the Cottonee. Buzz couldn't see what was happening inside, but no attack came forth. Maybe it has fallen asleep, Buzz thought. Hugh's next move was to have Crobat uses Echolocation to target the grass type and then attack with X-scissor a powerful super effective move.

The Crobat flew into the fog its wings crossed in front of its body. As it returned from the haze Buzz noticed it was giggling. Buzz assumed the Cottonee hadn't fallen asleep and had in fact used Tickle. Since Haze had already cleared the boosts effect it had no effect on the tickle.

"Also, Betty, when you've carried out those orders, get rid of the mist with Defog. I'm ready to WRAP THIS UP!" Betty nodded, smiling its wide, frightening smile while circling the field. As she flapped her wings furiously the purple haze dissipated. It revealed a ball of fluff upon the floor snoozing. Apparantly the Hypnosis had just taken effect.

"Now might be a good time to attempt a capture, Hugh, it's looking pretty beat up and the sleeping should help boost your chances."

"Nah, thats it Betty, I'm ready to end this. Such an ANNOYING Pokemon that little thing is!!" said Hugh, pointing at the little cotton ball. "Anyway, here goes!!" Hugh pulled a park ball from his backpack and tossed it at the pokemon. His aim was true and the Cottonee was asleep, so he had a good chance of hitting it, but would it resist capture?

 

"Shut up Shut Up SHUT UP!!!! I KNOW, I WAS PLANNING ON DOING THAT, GUH-AWD, LEAVE ME ALOOOONE!!! WHY ARE YOU EVEN HERE!?!?!?" Hugh shrieked. Buzz was left silent at this, he simply took a step back and let Hugh continue. The Crobat called Betty returned, and it appeared to calm Hugh down a little bit.

Buzz watched as Hugh threw his ball towards the small cotton ball Pokémon, the capture device struck the sleeping Pokémon and it was inhaled into the device in a beam of red energy. The ball wiggled once and let out a faint ping as the central button shone red.

Buzz knew an outburst would occur when he announced that he had to look after the captured Cottonee, but rules were rules. "Nicely done, Hugh, you caught a Cottonee. Now, I have to look after it until you leave the park as per rules. I'll heal it up and you can get it back along with another Pokémon you capture. Lets get moving." Buzz quickly slotted the Ball into his bag and moved on before Hugh could complain.

"Lets have a look around the greenhouse," Buzz said as he lead his trainer to the large glass structure that was full of vegetation. Fortunately for them it was also teeming with Pokémon. A small brown seed rolled out from one of the nearby plants. "Hey Hugh, how do you feel about trying to capture a Seedot?"

Hugh, again barely listening to Buzz, immediately grabbed Serena's Poke ball from his belt and tossed it into the air. “Look Serena, ANOTHER ONE!!! Go get him, hit it with a Psychic attack when you're done analyzing its ability!” Hugh telepathically communicated to Serena. Serena began examining Seedot. After a moment, Serena turned to her trainer with a pleading look on her face.

“Please Hugh, don't make me fight this poor pokemon. Look, it has scars all over it and who knows where they came from! Its color is different than that of a normal Seedot as well... it hasn't served it well. I'm going to send you what I found out about its past with my telepathy... I hope you'll decide on a different course of action.” said Serena in a somber tone in Hugh's head.

Hugh was about to protest, when his mind was flooded with the thoughts of the small acorn pokemon. It had been constantly bullied and beaten up by the other Seedot because of its abnormal color. Those beatings had often left scars, as Serena had noticed before. All throughout, Hugh stared at his shoes. Without saying a word to Serena, he reached into his backpack and pulled out a fragrance bottle. He sprayed some on himself and Serena and carefully approached the Seedot, hoping the scent would keep him from startling the Seedot. He nodded and Serena began explaining that it they had seen the awful things that had happened to it and how Hugh's childhood was similar. He had been picked on for his bright orange hair and pale, freckle-covered face. Hugh, for the first time since he entered the park, smiled at the Seedot. He pulled a Park Ball from his pocket and cautiously placed it in front of the acorn pokemon. He sat down in the grass and waited. How would the Seedot react?

 

OOC: sorry about this but for these kind of captures the main thing is meeting the MCR, and after your fragrance and the 20% rule. The maximum character reduction for a Common rank Pokémon is 800 characters. Your post was 400 characters short of the 3200 needed.

Buzz watched as the trainer looked at the beaten of colour Seedot. Serena was released from her ball, he half expected the onslaught of anger he had gotten used to from the child. Instead silence, then Hugh began to walk over to the small Pokémon.

Buzz spotted a small smile creep across the young boys face as he knelt down producing a Park Ball from his pack and revealing it to the small Acorn. Buzz was very surprised, this was not what he had come to expect from the young trainer. Unfortunately what happened next, Buzz was sure to bring out the bad side.

As the small green Poké Ball rolled towards the acorn it looked at, frowned suddenly a green ball of energy formed in front of it. The Energy Ball attack lifted the ball and flung it back towards Hugh, smacking him right in the face. The Park Ball landed in Hugh's hands and seemed unbroken.

"It might have bena little soon for that, maybe we should wander a bit first or we can hang around here and relax. See if it er warms up to you a bit?" Buzz said to his trainer who was rubbing his face.

Hugh stood up, his ginger face as red as a burning supernova. "I've had ENOUGH!!! I WANT OUT OF HERE NOW!!" he screamed. He stomped away from the Seedot. A tear fell down his face, which he quickly wiped from his face. Serena followed after him in a rush, wishing to comfort her trainer. He stomped up to Buzz, and in a fit of rage shrieked, "I would like to GET OUT OF HERE!! GIMME MY STUPID COTTON THING TOO!!!" He seemed to be attempting to scream into Buzz's face, but he was too short, even when he elevated himself on the tips of his toes.

Buzz looked down at his trainer slightly taken aback by the shouting. "Okay, Hugh. River, off we go, I guess."

In a few moments the group were back at headquaters, Buzz got Hugh to sign all the necessary release papers. Buzz then thought about the annoyance this child had caused, and had an idea. "Well it's been fun, if you want to come to the park again, I'll probably be busy so make sure you ask for Ranger James, or Ivy," Buzz said to the boy as he handed over the ball containing Cottonee.
