"Which one of you rangers want to take a trainer to Mount Deckbi?" our female secretary-slash-receptionist, Madison, asked us "free" rangers in her sweet voice. We were currently in the lobby of our Ranger Outpost Number One.

I watched her grin slightly flirtatiously as the male rangers, rolling my eyes as I sighed. Now I understood why Ivy was so, for lack of better term, angry with the other rangers. I couldn't blame her, anyhow. Fortunately, she was busy with another run, so she could not get all furious at the others, specifically Leo, Buzz, and Chainy.

If I took this run, it would be my third time rangering. It would also be my first time being the actual ranger--my first two times were only as a replacement. I looked around the room, in case anyone else wanted to take the run. I saw Leo and Buzz debating and fighting each other about Madison again, and Chainy seemed pretty tired.

"I'll do it!" I announced, my hand shooting up as if I was a student itching to answer the teacher's question in school. I suddenly remembered my days back at the Ranger Academy, before snapping back into reality thanks to Joe shoving me in the shoulder.

"Dude, get the file already. Don't keep Madison waiting!" he told me as I rolled my eyes once more, standing up. I nodded my thanks at the secretary, before walking back to my office.

I read the trainer's file along the way. Turns out it was his first time, and he was bringing along a Dragonite and Houndoom. Their natures were interesting, and the trainer didn't seem to be a fan of nicknames for his Pokemon.

I grabbed my brown shoulder bag, which contained some number of Pokedolls, Potions, and my Pokemon. I decided to bring along Nia, my Staraptor, Kipper, my Swampert, and my Azumarill.

As I walked out of the Outpost, the atmosphere became slightly misty. I knew Mt. Deckbi was full of ground and fire types, considering it was, basically, a volcano. It would be filled with caves, soot, and dust. I wasn't really sure why I had wanted to go there, but I was pretty sure it would be a fun experience. I also realized it would not be wise to fly on Nia to get there, considering the fog and dirt in the air, thus I resulted to using the Teleportation device. I walked over to the cubicle, getting in with some slight difficulty.

The next moment, I could feel a weird sensation. My stomach churned as I closed my eyes, cringing. I felt my body's cells and molecules being transported to a different location in the speed of light--sort of. It felt just like warping during the Christmas Event. Flashbacks of my journey through three zones in the Park flashed through my mind... And, the next thing I knew, I was at Mt. Deckbi's Outpost.

I walked to the area's entrance, leaning on the gate. My eyes quickly scanned the place, just in case the trainer was already here...

My eyes slowly opened to the dazzling rays of sunlight creeping through my bedroom window. The breezy air whipped back and forth, causing the budding spring leaves to sway. Stepping foot off of my bed, I realized that today was the day that I went to the Park for the first time. Excitement flowed through my veins as I got ready for my adventure.

“Come out Dragonite and Houndoom!” I tossed the red and white balls on my bedroom floor and two fierce Pokemon emerged from them.

Dragonite eagerly cried, her diminutive green wings flapping in excitement. She was taller than me, but I could remember the days when she was just a small blue Dratini. She was a bright orange, a great contrast to the azure blue that she used to be. We exchanged grins before I glanced at Houndoom, who was still tired from the night’s sleep.

He was black with a fiery red underbelly. Two silver curled horns protruded him his head, and he had silver bands around his ankles. Suddenly, a loud yawn exerted from his mouth, causing a few embers to spark. They quickly faded and I continued to get ready for the adventure at hand.

    --

The jade grasses crumpled under my shoes as I happily trudged to my destination, Mt. Deckbi. I was hoping to catch some cool Pokemon, but I really wanted to have a Litwick, a candle-like Pokemon who was absolutely adorable. Time passed as I continued to walk, thinking about all of the magnificent Pokemon that I would encounter. Before I knew it, I approached a sign that read:

    Mt. Deckbi
    Outpost #4

I jumped in joy at the sight. I was finally going to find some new Pokemon! The air was smoky, causing me to remember that I was near a volcano. I regretted wearing extra layers of clothes; it was going to be sweltering. I walked into the entrance and saw a young ranger, who seemed to be new to being a ranger.

“Hey there,” I said, letting the excitement show in my voice. “How are you?”

I did not have to wait long for the trainer to come. My fellow rangers told me most trainers were very excited about the Park, so they usually came early enough. And this teen was no exception.

I suddenly inhaled some smoke, causing me to cough a little wildly. As I happened to do this, I spotted a male trainer coming along. I noticed he had chosen to wear many layers of clothing. I wondered if he knew that Mt. Deckbi was actually a volcano.

“Hey there,” he called when he was near enough to be heard, the emotion of excitement clearly showing in his voice. “How are you?” He quickly walked over to me as I waved in a friendly manner.

"Hi! You must be Marq. My name is Elisa Fleming, doing very well, physically and mentally--if that's what you mean," I answered, chuckling as I joked on the last sentence. I wondered if I had pronounced his name the correct way--sounding something like "Mark". "So, I hope you're physically, emotionally, and mentally fit as well." I laughed again.

We chatted a little longer, talking about his Pokemon and mine, as well as the area itself. After a short while, I guided him to Mt. Deckbi itself.

Once we were a short distance from the mountain, I gazed up, taking in the view of the towering active volcano. There was a wide trail that spiraled up and around it. There were caves all around the mountain, and one was right in front of us... Around the volcano, there was a blare of plant life with boulders and rocks almost covering them completely. The air was thick and quite foggy; it was dirty with ash, making it slightly hard for us to breathe properly; and it was hot. A foggy mist settled into the atmosphere, covering most parts of the dark reddish-brown volcano.

"Alright, Marq, this is where your adventure in the Park really starts," I told him, gesturing over to the amazing volcano. "We should be careful while exploring Mt. Deckbi as we have received some reports of volcanic activity. It's quite active nowadays, but not to worry--there won't be any volcanic eruptions anyhow."

My eyes were already scanning the area. No Pokemon were appearing just yet. I started to walk forwards but stopped. "Where would you like to go, by the way? Up the volcano or through the caves? Also, are there any Pokemon you want specifically?"

My trainer didn't answer right away, so I figured he was probably thinking of what he actually wanted, and where he would like to go. I suddenly heard a rolling, tumbling sound coming from a cave right in front of us. The sound continued for some time, getting louder and louder. It was like something was rolling towards us--something rocky and boulder-like...

The next instant, the sound stopped as a gray boulder emerged from the darkness of the cave. It had bulging rocky eyebrows, brown irises, and muscular five-fingered arms. The Rock Pokemon also had a hard-looking head as well as a sturdy body. I recognized this creature immediately as a Geodude--one of the most common species of Pokemon.

"Have any interest in a Geodude?" I asked Marq.

"Hi! You must be Marq. My name is Elisa Fleming, doing very well, physically and mentally--if that's what you mean," she replied, giggling at what she’d said. I was glad that she had pronounced my name right; not a lot of people did at first. I laughed as well before we engaged in a conversation about the area we were about to explore. Elisa seemed like a cool person, so we got along quite well.

Soon enough, we were both trekking out of the entrance and to Mt. Deckbi. The air was smoky, causing me to cough a bit as we moved to our destination. As we got closer to the volcano, it became harder to see my way down the path that we were walking on. The sapphire blue skies were hidden beneath the smoke emerging from Mt. Deckbi. After a while of walking, Elisa stopped. I stopped next to her.

"Alright, Marq, this is where your adventure in the Park really starts," she said, pointing to the volcano that we were near. I smiled in excitement; I was finally going to catch some Pokemon.

"We should be careful while exploring Mt. Deckbi as we have received some reports of volcanic activity. It's quite active nowadays, but not to worry--there won't be any volcanic eruptions anyhow."

I sighed in relief; I didn’t want anything bad to happen during my adventure. I noticed Elisa swiftly shifting her eyes around the area, looking for a Pokemon. There was nothing to be found, so she turned to me and asked,

"Where would you like to go, by the way? Up the volcano or through the caves? Also, are there any Pokemon you want specifically?"

I pondered for a moment, thinking about where I should go. I reached my decision after a few seconds of contemplating between the two. “I’d like to go through the caves; it’s really hot over here!” I jokingly pretended to fan my face in exaggeration.

“There are so many interesting Pokemon out there that I really can’t choose, but I’m sure that I really want a Litwick,” I replied, nodding my head. Litwick’s final evolution, Chandelure, seemed to be really strong. It seemed like a very good addition to my team.

Suddenly, a loud noise came from the cave in front of us, and a grey boulder tumbled toward us. It was a Geodude, a common Pokemon who evolved into Golem, a bulky and strong Pokemon. Although I didn’t have my mind set on what Pokemon I wanted, I knew that Geodude wasn’t something that I really wanted to catch.

"Have any interest in a Geodude?" Elisa asked in curiosity.

“I think I’ll pass on this one, Elisa,” I responded.

    OOC: Escape roll failed...

As Marq gazed at the Geodude curiously, he answered my previous questions. He decided he wanted to go through caves due to the hot climate out here. I laughed as he pretended to fan himself in exaggeration. I now knew what he came for, and that was a Litwick.

Litwick were pretty cool Pokemon, in my opinion. Chandelure, as I have heard, were great creatures to use in battle. I had actually planned to get a Litwick somehow, but that would only be when I would get a time-out from ranger duties.

“I think I’ll pass on this one, Elisa,” Marq responded. I nodded, understanding why he did not want a Geodude. Golem were strong bulky creatures, yes, but not exactly what most people would want.

"Okay then," I told the trainer. I turned to the Geodude, bending down to talk to the little Pokemon. "Sorry, Geodude. Maybe next time."

I stood up once more, leading Marq towards the nearest cave--which was the cave Geodude had come from. We were about to walk in when the Rock Pokemon growled indignantly. It tumbled towards us, roaring and repeating its name over and over again. Somehow, I realized it wanted to battle.

It rolled over to a stone, lifting it up quite easily. Energy traveled to his arms, spreading all the way until the rock. It arms, hands, and the small boulder all glowed brightly white.

"Marq, we'd better watch out. That's Rock Throw," I warned the teen. "It could continuously do this until those stones hit, unless, of course, something stops it.

"Okay then," she replied before turning to the Geodude. She crouched closer to him and muttered "Sorry, Geodude. Maybe next time."

I looked ahead at the cave we were about to enter, and anticipation filled me once again. I couldn’t wait to find some new companions. Elisa got on her feet and we continued our walk towards the cave in front of us. Suddenly, there was a loud growl, causing me to swiftly turn my head. The Geodude had tumbled toward us while we weren’t looking!

“Geodude!” It cried. Its eyes looked determined as it rolled toward a rock and lifted it with ease. Energy flowed through its body, causing the stone to shine. He was using Rock Throw.

"Marq, we'd better watch out. That's Rock Throw," she said as she swiftly turned to me. "It could continuously do this until those stones hit, unless, of course, something stops it.

“Geodude wants a battle? We’ll give him a battle,” I yelled as I took a Pokeball from my belt. “Go Dragonite!”

The red and white ball hit the rocky ground, and a fluorescent light emerged from it, promptly forming into Dragonite. She swiftly turned left and right, confused about where she was. The smoky air was a bit confusing to her until she remembered that we were going to Mt. Deckbi. She turned towards me, her small, jade ears wagging.

“It looks like Geodude wants a battle, Dragonite. Dodge its Rock Throw and use Aqua Tail!”

Dragonite eagerly cried before dashing at top speed towards the boulder, ready to attack.

OOC: Note your Dragonite's nature and its corresponding description in the Encyclopedia.

    BP#2

“Geodude wants a battle? We’ll give him a battle,” Marq yelled courageously just as the creature released the energy-filled stone. It headed for me, and I was indeed surprised. What had I said? I froze, the rock sped through the air rapidly... I had managed to swerve in the nick of time. I breathed a sigh of relief, stepping aside to give my trainer space for battling.

I stared at the creature that had emerged from the bright fluorescent light, I was amazed. My heart skipped a beat, Dragonite were really strong and awesome creatures said to be psuedo-legendaries. Meaning they just needed another step before being classified as legendary Pokemon.

I gazed up at Marq's female Dragonite. She looked quite bulky, yet still incredibly agile and fast. She was orange and possessed arms and legs, all of which were equipped with three claws. She had a horn on her forehead, which was in the shade of orange as well. The creature resembled a bipedal European dragon, and had a pair of little green-colored wings. Their wings increase in size as they fly, as I have heard. She was taller than both Marq and me. Her yellow antennae were S-shaped, while her striated belly was cream-colored.

She looked around, quite confused as to where she was. A moment later, she relaxed, presumably knowing, or remembering, that she was at Mt. Deackbi. Her ears wagged happily when she turned to face her trainer who promptly gave her his commands.

I was too busy staring at his Pokemon to catch what Marq had said. The only thing that registered from his statement was "use Aqua Tail." Well, in any case, the Dragonite gave an energetic cry of acknowledgment as she swiftly powered herself up while flying towards Geodude.

I figured Marq had ordered for a dodge as well as Aqua Tail, seeing as the creature spun around, just barely evading another incoming rock. Oh, but, the the Rock Pokemon was not done yet. he continued to hurl the mini-boulders, doing it even more quickly compared to last time. On its third attempt, Dragonite had her tail glowing brightly blue. I could vaguely make out liquid energy surrounding it.

She continued her path to the wild creature, her tail swishing about wildly, smashing into each and every rock the Geodude had managed to throw. Well, almost every.. I watched with slight horror as her tail's power went out, except for a small splash. Why had she not dodged the whole attack... And it was just when the wild creature had gotten tired, too. One last rock was hurled towards Dragonite chin as she frantically--panicking, now--tried to regain her power for another Aqua Tail. The stone hit dead-on, well almost, dealing a considerable amount of damage.

She growled, both in pain and anger. Her tail powered up again, the water flowing all around it. A clear blue aura enveloped her tail as she swat it against the whole of the Geodude. Her tail slammed the Rock type harshly, causing it to be pushed back a load of meters. This made the wild creature furious, making it want to take its revenge.

White energy surrounded it, circling around it round and round. They seemed to orbit the creature in an elliptical motion before transforming into dozens of rocks. A few moments later, this barrage of rocks blasted through the dusty atmosphere. They headed for Dragonite rapidly.

"Watch out!" I warned Marq quickly. "By the way, park ruls state that you may do any of the following: flee from the Pokemon, battle it, or but a Pokedoll to flee. You may also bring its health down low enough to make it flee, but that may take a while."

Dragonite swiftly sprinted towards the Geodude, ready to attack. However, she only narrowly dodged its attack due to her main focus being on her attack. Geodude was however not finished and continued to forcefully throw the rocks toward the bulky dragon. Aqua energy formed around her bright orange tail as she gave up on dodging and decided to instead hit the rocks being flung towards her. Suddenly, the liquid energy circulating around her tail stopped, and the boulder being heaved at her hit as she tried to recharge her tail. I cringed at the thought of being hit by a rock myself.

I watched in suspense and hope as Dragonite’s anger at being hit caused her tail to recharge with water. She rapidly darted toward the Geodude again before slamming into it with her tail. The boulder flew back from the attack and was visibly hurt.

“Yes!” I whispered to myself after watching Dragonite triumph.

However, the Geodude got back to its senses and started to charge up energy. A glowing white aura surrounded Geodude, rapidly gaining in speed and brightness. Suddenly, the energy changed into rocks, and they flew into the air, directed at Dragonite.

    “Dragonite! Dodge them!”

Though Dragonite was preparing to dodge, I could tell that she just wanted to attack the Geodude. and give revenge. However, I decided that I didn’t want to waste my time on Geodude.

"Watch out!" She quickly yelled.. "By the way, park rules state that you may do any of the following: flee from the Pokemon, battle it, or but a Pokedoll to flee. You may also bring its health down low enough to make it flee, but that may take a while."

“I’d rather not waste my time and energy on Geodude, so I’ll buy a Pokedoll,” I replied calmly.

“Dragonite! Dodge them!” Marq commanded as soon as he saw the rocks blasting towards his Pokemon. Dragonite, however, was still not in the mood for dodging rocks. I wondered why this was so.

I checked the trainer's file once more, reading the natures of his Pokemon. Dragonite had a Rash nature, while Houndoom was Mild. I knew what the Mild nature was due to the fact that Nia, my Staraptor, was Mild. However, I did not know what Rash was.

I dug into my left pocket, bringing out a yellow-colored techy gadget. I wasn't sure what it is called, really, so I just call it the RDA, which stands for Ranger's Digital Assistant. Though, I think Ranger's Digital Poketch sounds better. Or not.

My device looked slightly weird if it was the first time you've seen it, it looked like a morph of a PokeNav and Poketch. It was a handheld device that did look like a PokeNav. Its screen, however, was like that of a Poketch, and it could transform into something like a wristwatch with a single push of the red button at the right side.

RDAs were really handy, they had internet connections, Pokemon data, and could scan wild creatures like a regular Pokedex. Not only that, it also had information about the zones of the Park as well as where some certain creatures had constantly been seen. Of course, the latter part was yet to be completed as with the influx of new creatures. I could call anyone, too, as long as I had remembered to store their number. It was like a handheld Ranger Encyclopedia. I pressed the red button, and it snapped onto my left wrist, turning a color of orange.

I quickly scanned through the data on Pokemon Natures. I learned that those with a Rash nature disliked dodging, prefers straight-forward battling, and is very determined to knock-out its opponent. Now I knew why Dragonite hadn't wanted to dodge. She did not like performing non-damaging moves.

I was too busy researching about those natures, I did not realize Dragonite had just barely dodged the Rock Blast, except for one or two or the smaller stones. I also just barely heard Marq's statement.

“I’d rather not waste my time and energy on Geodude, so I’ll buy a Pokedoll,” he replied, at least that's what I thought he said. He handed over a small wad of cash, paying for the doll.

I rummaged quickly through my bag, looking for a Pokedoll. After a few moments, I had finally found one. It looked much like a Graveler, but smaller. Perfect! I thought, tossing the doll far away. I had thrown the toy far enough to lead the Geodude away, and near enough that it would notice the Graveler doll.

"Right then, let's move in to the cave," I told Marq, guiding him inside. My right hand dipped into my bad once more, grabbing a flashlight. "Unfortunately, I only brought one, but I guess it is better than nothing." I switched the flashlight on, shining the light all around to make sure the path was clear. I checked everywhere, making sure we did not miss a Pokemon.

CRASH! I sighed heavily, I had tripped on something. I must have been focusing too much on the path ahead, I did not really look where I was stepping. Standing up quickly, I stared at the creature that had blocked my path. I shone the light onto it, seeing a mole-like creature. It was brown, with eyes. It had a pink-colored nose, and bits of ground and dirt always seemed to circle its lower parts. Then, I wondered what Digletts looked like underground. I shook my head, snapping out of my sub-conscoiusness before it had even started.

"So, Marq, would you like to battle this creature?" I asked, watching the Mole Pokemon sleep. I was amazed that this Pokemon hadn't felt my presence when I had tripped on it. But, it began to stir...

My bulky, orange Dragonite narrowly dodged the stones being thrown at her once again as Elisa looked at a yellow gadget. I didn’t know what she was holding, but I didn’t really pay much attention to it as I was watching the battle at hand.

Elisa returned the yellow electronic to her bag before looking for a Geodude Pokedoll to throw at it. I didn’t want to waste my time, or Dragonite’s energy, on that little boulder. After a few moments of searching for a doll, Elisa found a Graveler Pokedoll and threw it at the Geodude, who lost all interest in Dragonite for it. I shrugged and smiled before returning Dragonite to a Pokeball.

“Good job, Dragonite!” Her body slowly disappeared, and her silhouette was sucked into the red and white ball.

"Right then, let's move in to the cave," Elisa said after the Geodude situation was completely solved. The cave was pitch black, causing me to have nearly no sight. I hoped that Elisa had something to help us see. She looked into her bag once more and found a flashlight. "Unfortunately, I only brought one, but I guess it is better than nothing." She said while switching on the flashlight and looking around for anything interesting.

Suddenly, a noise coming from Elisa’s feet was heard, and I swiftly turned my head towards her. She had tripped on a little brown mole with a pink nose. A Diglett; not something I was really interested in catching.

"So, Marq, would you like to battle this creature?" She looked at me once again with curiosity.

“I’ll pass on this one too. I’m not really interested in a Diglett,” I replied.

It was a good thing Marq had called Dragonite back to her ball. Though this cave was big, it could just barely house the massive creature, making it hard for all of us to fit - and even harder for Dragonite to battle properly.

I did not need to wait long for Marq's reply. He was sure about his decision - he did not want a Diglett. “I’ll pass on this one too. I’m not really interested in a Diglett,” he answered immediately.

I nodded. He did not seem to want the common creatures, and that was understandable. I would not have wanted a Geodude or Diglett either if I was in this situation.

I turned, leading Marq away, but still keeping an eye on the wild creature. Some were known to attack even if the trainer hadn't wanted to battle - like that Geodude earlier. Well, it turns out, this one, too.

Calmly, it growled getting our attention. The ground began to shake, Diglett chanting a little song to the ground. It was pumping a massive amount of ground-typed energy into the earth, causing the terrain to shift around. The soil began to erode, some forming into more balls, the others pushing about towards us in huge amounts. Those that morphed into orbs started glowing darkly - yes, darkly, and levitated but still stayed low: near the ground. An invisible force pushed the spheres forwards, and I figure it could not be Diglett as it looked so relaxed, as if it was not, or had not, exerted much energy at all. It stifled a yawn, it seemed to think it need not follow up on another attack or think of a different tactic.

"Earth Power..." I mumbled under my breath, but still audible enough for Marq to hear.

Elisa nodded, seeming to understand where I was coming from. We walked away from the diminutive Diglett, ready to find another Pokemon when it growled. I turned my head towards it and was immediately reminded of the Geodude I had just faced. Was the Diglett yearning to battle too? I sighed as Elisa turned too, facing the mole Pokemon. Suddenly, Diglett began to quietly sing a tune, and the ground began to shake. The ground below us started to shift, and it was forming into balls of rock.

Soon enough these balls of rock started to float in midair as Diglett continued to sing the song. They swiftly zoomed towards us, and I jumped to dodge.

“Whoa!” I didn’t know that the Diglett could produce such a strong move. It was even odder, though, that it seemed relaxed and even yawned.

"Earth Power..." Elisa murmured under her breath.

“I guess I shouldn’t run away from everything I don’t want,” I said after quickly making a decision between escaping and battling. “Dragonite, come back out!”

The Pokeball hit the ground, and the great orange dragon Pokemon emerged from it.

“Start off with Dragon Rush!” I yelled before she began to power up, scurrying towards the mole. I knew that Dragon Rush didn’t have the best accuracy, but I hoped that it would work out anyway. It was satisfying to Dragonite anyway, due to her preferring attacking rather than dodging.

“I guess I shouldn’t run away from everything I don’t want,” Marq shouted quickly as he clutched a Pokeball. "Dragonite, come back out!" He threw the ball forward, releasing the magnificent dragon-flying-type.

I slid myself to lean against one of the cave walls as Dragonite could just barely fit in this narrower portion of the cave. Trying my best to consume as little space as possible to give way to the Dragonite, I watched the battle begin.

“Start off with Dragon Rush!” Marq commanded, wherein his Pokemon growled, glowing a bright orange color. Then, she glowed many different colors, sometimes alternatively, others all at once. The dragon energy glowed brighter, surrounding her whole body as she suddenly charged towards the soil- and ground-filled orbs.

She swatted her tail to and fro, eliminating most of the Earth Power. Luckily, she still had enough space to keep her feet off the ground - the tremor had not affected her. Yawning once more, Diglett had already initiated another Earth Power. I felt myself wince as the ground shook and as I watched this new barrage of rocks take its toll on the Dragonite. Fortunately, it only took some reasonable amount of damage from two or three rocks as the aura helped to destroy the others.

Dragonite continued on her way, concentrating more energy into her body, causing the energy to grow and the colors to glow even brighter - shifting faster and faster. Then, in a matter of seconds, she pushed her body forward, ramming into the Mole Pokemon. As she began to retreat, she slammed her tail once into the Diglett, as if to say, "Leave me alone!" Still, the wild creature did not budge, instead, it quickly gathered some energy, and pounded its head into the Dragonite, dealing some minor damage. I recognized the attack as Headbutt, it wasn't that strong, but it seemed the Diglett was angry now. So much for being a Relaxed creature.

Well, actually, it still did seem quite calm - just the "I'm angry at you, you Dragonite, but I'm relaxed. I'll hurt you slowly, continuously - oh, but it will hurt." kind of expression was plastered on its face. Yes, call me crazy, but I love interpreting Pokemon faces and expressions, though, I must say, I'm not really that good at it. However, I am sure of this one.

"Marq, you should try to take it down quick before it tries any other tactic that could be... be less than pleasant, in such a way," I told my trainer with some difficulty. It was not easy talking to him as I was currently making myself as small as possible - squeezing myself against one wall of the cave. "Also, I wouldn't count on using Dragonite the whole time - this cave will most probably get narrower once we move to its inner core."

I turned my head to watch the Diglett. It seemed to be debating what it could, or should, do. I knew Earth Power wasn't an option as Dragonite would just keep smashing them, or evading them if she chooses to. I looked over to Marq, and he seemed to be planning his next attack carefully as well.
