Ranger: John Shay

"John, do you want to take this run to Meteor Valley?"

The voice of the eye-friendly receptionist at the Registration Office resonated through my ear through my wireless radio.

"Yeah, for sure. Stream the Trainer's data to my PokeDex," I responded, whipping out the device as I spoke. Within seconds, the Trainer's information had been downloaded to my PokeDex. He shared my name, John. That was interesting.

Alright, I had to get to Meteor Valley. I was relatively close, at Mt. Deckbi. I could probably get to the Ranger Outpost where I would meet with my Trainer within five minutes.

"Dragonite, come on out!" I called, tossing a Pokeball. My beloved orange Dragon Pokemon appeared in a flash of white light. "We're going to Meteor Valley."

Dragonite nodded, and I climbed on her back. She leaped into the sky with her powerful legs, and soon enough we were at the Ranger Outpost at Meteor Valley. It was nothing more than a small shed with a roof over it. There was a Pokemon healing machine, a phone, a first aid kit, and not much else.

Directly in front of me was the valley itself. It was a wide, deep valley. A thick fog obscured my vision, but I knew that the terrain was rough down there. Dozens of boulders and stones were supposedly strewn all over the surface of the valley, and the grass was knee high. This would be an interesting park run.

I sat down on a park bench and awaited my arrival, watching my Dragonite fly around.

As soon as the ferry reaches the island, I will jump out of this boat thought John, which was now annoyed with the seasickness he had had during the trip, Well, at least it’s better than hitching a ride with Swampy, the crazy Swampert. They see him battling and think, oh he’s nice, but they need to see how he reacts on the sea , now his head was filled with many other thoughts like those but the main one was My first adventure on the National Park, this is going to be fun , with a quick smirk , and a quick barfing he realized that the ferry had reached the dock; he then quickly jumped and ran towards the Outpost.

After getting the information he wanted, and the directions , he then found his ranger. Ranger John, heh he grinned as he thought just hope things will work out this time …

Ranger John Shay

As I watched Dragonite fly around the air, I heard footsteps running towards the Ranger Outpost. I turned my head, and I saw someone running towards the Outpost. I glanced down to the picture on my PokeDex. There was no mistake - this was John.

"Nice to meet you, John. I'm your Ranger for this Park Run, and I'll be guiding you through Meteor Valley. My name is John Shay," I said, shaking his hand. "Let's head out. Hopefully, we can find you some good Pokemon to add to your team."

Together, we began walking down towards the valley. It was a steep hike, and we made slow progress. The terrain was littered with stones and boulders, and I had to grab onto small trees lining the path for guidance and balance.

"You alright, John? Be caref-" I immediately stopped talking. Something glowing green was hiding behind a tree. I think it was a Pokemon. It poked its head out from behind the tree, confirming my suspicions.

"Duosion..."

"John, there's a Duosion hiding behind the tree. Do you want to try and capture it?"
