Individual RP: Master Hei

There were a lot of great places on the island, places that were great for a picnic. My current location was not one of them. I glanced back up at the Manor. Some off the other rangers said that it once had a name but the name was lost when the manor fell to pieces. No one is sure how that happened. Some say it fell when the sons for the leader started fighting over the inheritance and the ghost of the father had something to do with it. Other say that the boys were mistreating their Pokemon and that once they died the ghosts of the Pokemon rose up and caused for the house to be abandoned. One thing was for sure the place was enshrouded in ghost stories. I had a bad feeling about this.

Trying to take my mind of the hunted house I looked down at my tablet and read over the info of the trainer that was to come in tonight. I was about four thread of the way down when the wind started blowing, the dead leafless trees that had once been full of life and were planted around the courtyard were now knocking against each other making the more eerie of sounds. I had a feeling that it would not be the spookiest thing I would see this night. I looked up at the full moon and pulled my coater close. I hoped that my trainer would arrive soon.

I looked at my watch to check the time, it was getting late and I was set to go into the Ruined Manor at the National Park. Unfortunately I was suck in a mountain pass thanks to a powerful wind storm that grounded me, but now that it had passed I took out my Pokéball pressed the button in the middle, a crimson red beam shot from the ball and my Dragonite appeared in front of me. I climbed onto his back and into the freezing night sky we flew, the Manor was just pass the mountain it was a short half-hour flight but we made it safely to the Manor.

After landing I noticed a woman standing not far from the manor, could this be my Ranger? I walked over to her with Dargonite at my side, “Hello their, I’m Kazuma Kannagi. Are you my Ranger by any chance?” I ask the woman.

“Why yes,” I said as I offered my hand, “My name is Robin and I will be your guide toda- err tonight.” The sun had set and we were in the times of twilight. I turned to get into the gate when the gate’s iron bars swung open with no action of mine. I took a step back startled by the sudden action. There had to be a logical explanation for this, maybe the bosses and finally gotten around to installing automatic gates, sure that must be it. Hoping that Kazuma wasn’t too scared after the door I put on a brave face and walked through the gate and up to the manor’s door. I was glad when it didn’t open by its self. I pulled the door open and held it for Kazuma. After he was in I walked trough myself. I let go of the door and it slammed shut, far faster and loader then it should have.

“That’s weird.” I said as I turned to face the door. I placed my hand on the handle and tried to turn the nob. It didn’t budge. I pushed the door, no luck. I kicked the door, nothing. We were trapped.

“Okay,” I said We may have some problems here, let’s move deeper into the manor, maybe there is a back door or a window we can get out off.” With that I took some time to see where we were. It was dusty and gloomy; we were in a front room or a greeting room. There ware stairs that went up and a passage way into another room. There was a grand chandelier that was giving of a very dim light. There were a few fancy chairs on the sides of the room that must have looked better before the colors faded and the dust settled. There was also a brown side table that had a white vase with flowers on it but the flowers that the vase may had once held had crumbled into dust and been blown away by the wind along time ago.

We started walking across the room, and I was about to ask if Kazuma wanted to go up the stairs or in the next room when I heard it. I was a plop, like something had just fallen down. I turned to where the sound was coming from and aw a candle. It was small white, and had a move flame. I was getting pretty spooked by this whole thing and it got worst when the candle moved. One yellow eye appeared and so did a mouth. It started hopping towards us and it took me a few seconds to remember what it was.

“That’s a Litwick,” I saw as I took a few steps back, away from the fire and ghost type “You can try and catch it if you want”

OOC: Sorry this took so long things at work have slowed down at last so it won't take weeks to get this stuff done.

I introduced myself to woman in hopes she was my Ranger and indeed she was, “My name is Robin and I will be your guide toda- err tonight.” We shook hands upon introducing our selves then she turned to the around to the gate its iron bars swung wide open. “That’s not weird at all.” I mumbled to myself, Robin slowly taking a small step back. A cold chill shivered down my spine, raising gooseflesh along my back. My Ranger then went through the gate and up to the manor door I followed closed behind as she opened the door. I walked through first then Robin followed, she let go of the door handle and the door slammed shut behind her “That’s weird.” she said, placing her hand on the door knob. She tried to turn it, but the heavy door didn’t budge even a single inch. My ranger tried kicked her foot at the door, the toe of her shoe banging against it. The door remained closed, without so much as a dent from all her kicks. It was as though we were in the beginning of a horror movie.

“Okay, We may have some problems here, let’s move deeper into the manor, maybe there is a back door or a window we can use to exit the building.” She said.

“Alright, sounds like a good idea.” I replied. Robin looked around, seeing that we were inside a greeting room from the look of things. There were some stairs that lead to the upper part of the manor and an old chandelier that gave off very little light, and some nice chairs as well. We had started to walk across the room when my ranger stopped and turned. Intrigued, I looked over in the direction she was facing. A white candle started to move, one yellow eye opening. It had a small mouth, a tiny flame flicking over its head.


“That’s a Litwick, You can try and catch it if you want” My Ranger said to me. I had the evolved form of it, Chandelure, which was a Fire and Ghost Type Pokemo. Even though I had it, it was still a good Pokemon, and I could probably get a good deal if I traded it.

“Yeah, I’ll battle this Pokemon.” I said to my Ranger as I unclipped a Pokéball from my belt and hit the button in the middle. The ball opened up and a crimson red beam shot from it, Dragonite then appeared in front of me. “Alright, Dragonite, that little Pokemon over there is your opponent. I want you to use safeguard, then aqua tail.”

Chances are I didn’t need to use safeguard but these little Pokemon loved to use moves like confuse ray and it was better safe than sorry, and with an Aqua Tail attack should go nicely together. Dragonite heard my command and the battle would now begin.

OOC: Gender of the Litwick?

Kazuma sent out his large dragon type, known as Dragonite. Dragonite was a good choice for a lot of battle and was a very popular Pokemon for the park. It didn’t have a direct advantage but had some moves that could help it in this fight.

“Alright, Dragonite, that little Pokemon over there is your opponent. I want you to use safeguard, then aqua tail.” Kazuma commanded. Looked like he knew about these moves that would give him the leg up on the little fire type. Dragonite started to glow and a bight light emerged from him. The light formed a see through sphere around the dragon type preventing status aliments and lessening damage to the flying type.

Next Dragonite’s tail started to glow blue and water vapor that was in the air was drawn to it. Dragonite ran over to the Litwick who was still plodding towards us and swung his tail, ramming it in to the small Pokemon seeding it flying. It hit one of the walls, knocking down a panting of a Woobat. Both crashed down on the ground with a thump sound.

The Litwick pushed it’s self back up and a black ball appeared over the ghost type. The ball started out about and inch tall but slowly got larger. The ball felt very dark and almost sinister like negative emotions were being rolled up. Once the ball reached one foot it was flung at Dragonite hitting him square in the chest it stunned the large Pokémon but it was only a second and he was back on his feet waiting for his next move.

Dragonite started to glow and a bright blue light began to shine from within, and engulfed his entire body. I then watched as Dragonite called upon its water powers to gather the moisture from the air and harness it in his tail, a ball of water formed around his tail then he dashed to Litwick the little blob of candle wax was hopping to us when Dragonite swung its tail around smashing it into the little ghost Pokemon. Litwick flew into the wall hitting it so hard it knocked a picture off the wall then it fell and hit the ground. Litwick picked itself up. A purple ball of dark energy formed above its head, yellow bolts of negative energy pulsed through the ball. Once the fall reached around a foot litwick launched the ball of energy at Dragonite hitting him dead center of the chest, Dragonite hit the ground stunned for a moment then pick himself up off the floor.



I looked over to my Ranger saying, "That litwick looks ready for a real battle now, this should be fun."



I stopped to think to myself what to do, i didn't want to KO this Pokemon and with Dragonite that would be easy to do, and almost all him moves we're really Powerful, so what was a good option, then it was as if a light bulb popped over my head as i had a idea. I could have Dragonite use Thunder wave. Thunder wave was a electric move that when it hits the opponents Pokemon the Pokemon then becomes paralyzed and it speed drops making it really slow. That move alone was not enough though i needed to drop it down just a little more than what it was already, another water move should be good this time a waterfall.



Waterfall was a physical water move which was good for Dragonite but it also made some Pokemon flinch when struck by it, this making it a little more desirable to use. Thunder wave and Waterfall these Moves would definitely move capturing this Pokemon easier. I looked over to Kenpachi which was Dragonites nick name and gave my commands.



"Kenpachi, use Thunder wave and Waterfall go!" I yelled, I ready to see just how this would turn out.

OOC: Sorry this is so late

Dragonite Closed his eyes and started flying towards the small fire type. Once he was a few feet away he stopped and started charging up the thunder wave. A small ball of energy formed in his claws. It started out small and grew to be much larger; once it was about as big as Dragonites claws it stopped growing. A small whip of energy shot out and latched towards Litwick. Litwick jumped up, but was too slow and the Pokemon ended up on the ground conversing in pain. While no real damage was taking getting paralyzed was not fun.

The Ghost type sat up. It seemed to take a deep breath and closed his eyes. A small white aurora surrounded Litwick. The Aura as sucked in and Litwick seemed to gain some power and defenses.

Dragonite rushed towards Litwick, Water appearing and covering the Dragon type. Litwick was moving slower now, but was still going. It jumped up to face the Pokemon. It closed its eyes and the flame on its head flared up. A roaring fire streamed off of the Pokemon and engulfed Dragonite. Dragonite was first protected by the water, but soon the water heated up and damaged the dragon. Dragonite stayed on course and rammed Litwick into the wall. Litwick managed to slip down to the floor, away from Dragonite. Dragonite pushed against the wall and hovered in the middle of the room.
