Talon was studying the file on his desk carefully, when he heard a ping come from behind him, and turned to see the fax machine active, pumping out a piece of paper. Talon left the file on the desk, and stood up, grabbing the piece of paper from the fax machine, and read it. He was taking a trainer named Leo through the Woods. Talon enjoyed the Woods a lot.

The maroon-wearing ranger stepped over to the lone computer in the cabin, tapping some buttons, and six Pokeballs materialised in a side slot on the computer, and he picked up the Pokeballs, attaching them to his belt, before walking to the transporter, and stepped through it. A bright flash filled his vision, and he found himself at the gate that lead to the Woods.

The sun was just rising, and Talon gazed down the path that his trainer would presumable walk up, smiling as he stared down the pathway, awaiting his trainer, and for the trip through the park to begin. Talon enjoyed getting up early, as it allowed him and the trainer he escorted to meet Pokemon that weren't usually meetable later in the day, whereas they could be seen early in the morning.

OOC: You may notice that my character and in an extension me is very unsure of themselves and tense when meeting new people. Please don’t take it personally.

Leo noticed the ranger teleport into the park just as the sun was starting to pass the 20 degree angle slightly after sunrise had commenced. Leo walked down the small earth pathway leading towards the ranger in a slightly tight maroon jumpsuit style outfit. Noticing the six small red and white balls hanging from the ranger’s belt, Leo assumed that he would be able to learn quite a lot from this style of adventure apprenticeship and protection through the dense wood area, seeing as he himself only had three spheres sitting inside his pocket.

Leo decided that the best course of action would to stride boldly up to the ranger and say hello. Yes that would do he decided, as he strode towards the larger ranger. Looking down at himself he decided that he should have possibly worn better suited clothing then some jeans and a black t-shirt, maybe a more protective design like the rangers jumpsuit. Deciding it was an unneeded worry he quickly forgot about it and tried to figure out what the rangers thoughts were going to be of him and his reaction to new people.

Will he like me? What if he doesn’t? I could be left alone here in the woods! I sound like a nervous school girl I’m sure he will be fine and if he isn’t then maybe it will get better. Maybe I should think nicer and happier thoughts?

Although happy to be going into the woods at an earlier time to get the most out of his allotted time in the national park woods, he still had reservations against any time before 12 noon, because of his teenager ways. As Leo moved closer toward the ranger he decided it was time to introduce himself whether or not he was ready for any type of conversation even if only a few words.

“Hi I’m Leo, would you be talon? And can I ask what’s up with the early time?” said Leo after Gulping in anticipation.

“Hi I’m Leo, would you be talon? And can I ask what’s up with the early time?” a voice introduced itself, gulping afterwards.

"Welcome, yes I am Talon. I hope you enjoy yourself here at the park." Talon smiled. "You have no need to be nervous, I promise I shall show you the park in all its wondrous glory. The reason we are up so early is to catch the morning bird, or in this case, the early Pokemon. Some Pokemon only come out in the morning, and are very rare at any other time. That is why we are up so early."

Talon offered a smile to the teenager, and beckoned the teen to follow him further into the woods. They walked quickly down the path, the trees looming on either side of the path. The sun in the sky shone amazingly over the pathway, rising as they continued to walk down the path. Suddenly a large scorpion came bursting out of the bushes, hissing loudly, landing in front of Talon and Leo, and it turned to face the teenager, glaring at the teen.

"You want to capture it?" Talon asked, looking at Leo.

The ranger led Leo further into the woods, which had trees curved over the path almost in a sinister way. The only thing saving Leo from being scared was the ranger Talon next to him, and the occasional ray of light streaming through the dense canopy over the light brown dirt pathway.

All of a sudden a large purple scorpion jumped out of some bushes at the base of a tree next to the path swinging its two large claws and hissing loudly in an overly high pitched sound.

"You want to capture it?" Talon asked, looking at Leo.

“Um I don’t know I mean he’s awfully large and scary, and from the look of his face he’s a bit angry. Not to mention that my sister has one and I really don’t want to look like I’m copying her some maybe we should just run away. Can I buy a poke doll to ensure we can get away?” said Leo with a tone of freight in his voice.

The Drapion snapped its claws as it continued to glare at the teen, who didn't look too eager to battle the large scorpion. The Drapion was definitely angry over something, and it seemed to be protecting something. Talon wanted to find out what it was that the large scorpion was protecting, but it didn't matter currently.

“Um I don’t know I mean he’s awfully large and scary, and from the look of his face he’s a bit angry. Not to mention that my sister has one and I really don’t want to look like I’m copying her some maybe we should just run away. Can I buy a poke doll to ensure we can get away?” the teenager asked.

"Well, you can buy a Pokedoll if you want, but it'll cost you $500." Talon stated, pulling a Pokedoll out of the satchel he was carrying. "You sure you want a Pokedoll?"

The large scorpion seemed to recoil slightly at the appearance of the Pokedoll, but it remained still, its glare turned entirely to the ranger holding the Pokedoll, and snapped at him, but he didn't react as the Drapion turned back to glaring at the teenager. The teenager nodded in response, and offered the maroon-wearing ranger the money, and he handed the doll to the trainer. The teenager threw the doll towards the Drapion, and it scurried after the doll.

Taking this opportunity, Talon and Leo ran down the path, storming past the Drapion. Talon sighed, turning to smile at the trainer. The wind started to pick up, and Talon was confused, scanning their surroundings.

"BI!" a voice cried, and a small green shape floated in front of them, stopping to stare at the teenager.

At the sight of the Pokeballs on the teen's belt the green Pokemon's eyes changed colour, glowing crimson in anger, and it let out a growl.

"I don't think we'll be able to escape this." Talon stated. "I think you should battle it. Just remember, you are not allowed to capture it."

As Leo threw the Poke doll towards the angered purple Drapion, he looked behind it seeing a smaller blue shape and realised why the Drapion was so angry it was trying to protect its young. The smaller Skorupi was out of sight as the large purple Drapion chased after the poke doll probably thinking of it as a threat, rather than a toy.

Leo and Talon ran past the Drapion whilst it was distracted by the doll to further on down the path, Leo who felt sorry for the Drapion looked back and decided all was well as the young child Skorupi was playing on the ground with the poke doll. Now that Leo knew that the Pokémon where ok he looked back at Talon who smiled at him. Suddenly though the wind started to pick up and there was a sharp shout from in front the Pair of boys.

"BI!" a voice cried, and a small green shape floated in front of them, stopping to stare at the teenager Leo.

The small green shape named Celebi Looked up and down at the trainer with its large blue eyes until its gaze rested upon the sight of the Teenager Leo’s 3 Poke balls on his waist, the Celebi’s eye’s suddenly changing into a Blazing red. And growled loudly at the Teenager.

"I don't think we'll be able to escape this." Talon stated. "I think you should battle it. Just remember, you are not allowed to capture it."

“Ok then if I must battle the protector of the forest then I will.” Leo softly spoke to the ranger Talon.

“Go my Magmortar Theseus!” Shouted Leo. “Don’t hold anything back, we can’t have Celebi as our friend so we have to knock him out. Rush in fast now and use your fire punch we don’t want to start a fire with long range attacks, after you have beaten it down, fire a hyper beam on it. Use the blast from the hyper beam to jump back from Celebi to rest.

Celebi stared down the Magmortar, not even phased by its appearance. The Magmortar charged forwards, its right fist glowing a fiery red, slamming the fist into the Celebi, which let out a small yelp when the fist connected. The Magmortar then leapt back, and waited several moments to see if the Celebi would do anything, but it didn't, and unleashed a large white beam which cascaded towards the small Legendary.

Celebi remained motionless, a faint pink aura surrounding it, before the aura exploded in a large fury, the aura becoming massive. The Hyper Beam was frozen in the air, and the Celebi sent the Hyper Beam hurtling up into the air, which stunned the Magmortar. Suddenly, the Celebi vanished, and the Magmortar looked around, expecting an attack, but no attack came, and it lowered its arms.

"I... think it was a test of some sort." Talon hesitated. "You know, it is a large honor for a Legendary to even show itself to a trainer, and an even greater one if it battled you, even if only for a few moments."

"Now, I'm sure you'll want to find some Pokemon to catch, am I right?" Talon asked, smiling. "Well, I know a nice little spot, so follow me."

Talon began to walk down a side path on their left, and Leo followed him down the pathway, the two walking in silence, before coming to a clearing. Talon glanced to his right, and then to his left, before motioning Leo forward, and the two walked carefully into the clearing. Talon raised a hand for Leo to stop, and then the ranger pointed to a shape moving across the small pond several metres in front of them.

The Pokemon was blue in colour, with four long legs that skimmed the surface, and its cheeks were bright red, whilst it had a yellow blob on its head. Talon recognised it as a Surskit, and smiled. Surskit were a nice, loyal Pokemon, and would possibly be of interest to his trainer.

"You want to catch it?" Talon asked.

OOC: This is almost enough for me to capture the Surskuit 2896 chars so next time I will try and capture it. If the attacks hit at their full power then it should be around 8% health.

The Celebi stared at the Magmortar as it rushed forwards not blinking either of its large eyes as the big red duck like Pokémon ran full pelt at it. Unbothered by the Magmortar who was charging up a fire punch and turning his yellow cannon like hand red, the Celebi waited until the fist connected slamming it to the ground then as the Magmortar jumped backwards unleashing a hyper beam towards the green skinned now red eyed Pokémon Celebi. The Celebi still did not move one muscle until the Magmortar Launched the white beam.

The Celebi Launched a pink circle that radiated from its body encasing the white beam and hurtling it back towards the Magmortar slightly brushing it and stunning it long enough for the Celebi to teleport away into a different place or time possibly even both. The Magmortar was confused and looked around waiting for an attack to come at it from behind a tree outside of its view, but no attack came.

Talon turned towards Leo and said “I think it was a test of some sort, It’s a great honour you know to have a legendary show itself to a trainer, and even greater if they battle with you.”
“Now then I’m sure you want to catch a Pokémon now am I right?” Talon said. “Now let’s go to this great little place I know.”
The ranger Talon walked down a small side path leading from the main one and motioned for Leo to follow him keeping a finger against his lips indicating that they need to be quiet so they don’t scare away any Pokémon.

The Ranger Talon looked left then right and signalled to move forwards, pulling a hand sharply up he signalled for a halt . Talon pointed to a small blue shape that was skimming its way across the pond that was their destination. The Pokémon was Blue with 4 long spindly legs with bright red cheeks and a yellow blob plopped on top of its small head. It was a Surskuit one of many very loyal Pokémon in the world.

“You want to catch it?” Talon asked.

“Well I am a really big fan of bug Pokémon and Surskuit are very unique in the fact that they are the only bug water Pokémon. So I think I will want to capture. Yes I think I will no reason to be afraid.” Said Leo confidently at first and then less confidently as he continued.

“Alright then go my friend Icarus.” Leo spoke and launched his Poke ball containing a Flygon in the air. It opened and out flew Flygon.

“Flygon, I want you to help me add this Surskuit to our group of friends, you with me?” Leo said.

“Buzz!” Flygon spoke.

“Alright then Flygon I want you to fly up high above the Surskuit so it won’t notice we are here and then sweep downwards to attack it with your dragon claw. Once you have fly back up higher then it with your superior speed then try to dodge its rebuttal attack using your faint attack to hit it hard hopefully you will be able to knock it down into the water to lower its speed. Should get it’s health low enough for us to be able to capture it afterwards.

Leo's Flygon burst into view, and the Surskit didn't even notice it, continuing to play with its reflection in the water. The Flygon flew upwards, before zooming down, its outstretched claw glowing a bright indigo colour. The Surskit was startled by the appearance of a new reflection in the water, and studied it for several moments, before looking up to see the impending Flygon cascading towards it, and it had no time to react as the Dragon Claw attack slammed into it. The Surskit was sent underneath the surface of the water, and the Flygon scanned the water nervously, wondering what had happened to the Surskit, when the bug and water typed Pokemon burst out of the water, spewing an array of bubbles in a beam at the Flygon, and the bubbles covered its body, making it hard for the green flying lizard to see.

The Surskit hovered on the surface of the water, opening its mouth as a cobalt blue stream of water came pounding out of its mouth, coursing towards the Flygon, which managed to break out of the bubble trap, and zoomed into the air to avoid the Hydro Pump, which splashed onto the ground, before the Flygon swooped down and slashed at the Surskit with a Faint Attack. The Surskit closed its mouth, panting from the powerful attack it had managed to pull off, even if the attack had ultimately missed its target. The Surskit seemed to remember something, and its face curled slightly into that of a smile, and Talon wondered what it had remembered, when he realised that Flygon was very weak against Ice type moves, and Surskit was able to use an Ice type move or two, but it was too weak from exerting the Hydro Pump to do anything.

OOC: just to be clear flygon uses sand tomb to make mud to entrap surskit then im throwing parkball to capture it.


The Surskit resurfaced from under the water after being hit by the Flygon’s Dragon claw and fired a Bubble beam at the Flygon covering it in the bubbles it made the Flygon blind from sheer bulk of reflective surfaces redirecting the Flygon’s sight towards different directions. The Flygon shook of the bubbles just in time to zoom out of the direction of the hydro pump that the Surskit fired in its direction. The Flygon then rushed back down towards the Surskit and slashed the Surskit with his tail a move known as a faint attack.

The Surskit was grimacing until it realised that it had an advantage over the Flygon with its ice based attacks that it has the ability to use. Leo noticed this smile and realised his own mistake this Pokémon was no amateur of battling it knew when it had the advantage over its opponent.

“Dang it I should have thought of Surskit’s move pool and not just its weaknesses. Now Flygon’s gone pay for it. Alright I know what to do. If I get you to use sand tomb you should damage it enough to lower its health a bit more and then it will be trapped once its trapped I want to do plan flying ball.”
Leo turned to Talon and started to explain. “Flygon will fly high then use a sand tomb to encase the Surskit in dirt this will mix with the water to make mud which will stick to the Surskit making it hard to move. Then I will throw this here park ball into the air and Flygon will then hit the Park ball at the Surskit as he has a better aim then me.”

“Ok then go Flygon, initiate flying ball” shouted Leo.

It is moments like these that have gotten Leo as far as he has.

The Flygon unleashed the Sand Tomb, encasing the Surskit up to below its mouth in mud, and it struggled to break free, failing to do so as the Parkball hurtled towards it. Letting out a squeal, it let out an Ice Beam, which encased the Parkball, and then slammed into the Flygon. However, the Parkball continued to fly towards the Surskit, and an unfrozen part of the Parkball tapped the Surskit, and the Parkball snapped open, spraying an amazing sparkle of ice crystals into the air as it sucked the Surskit inside.

The Parkball landed with a thud, wobbling once, and then stopped, and looked as if it were going to open, before wobbling again, the suspense was definitely one that could kill, before wobbling a third time, and a ping resounded as the capture was confirmed.

"Congratulations, you caught the Surskit." Talon congratulated his trainer, moving forward to place the Parkball containing Surskit into the satchel he was carrying. "Nice job there Leo."

"Shall we continue?" Talon asked, smiling.

ooc: its a girl thanks i say in post, doesnt matter i said lets go east just go towards any direction any mon.

As the Flygon unleashed a vast mass of sand towards the Surskit it formed the shape of a small tomb, it encased the Surskit up to its bottom lip the rest of its body legs and neck covered in thick brown mud that was getting stronger by the minute. It struggled to break free from its bonds but it wasn’t able to, knowing that it only had its mouth free to attack it let out a ice beam along with a high pitched squeal.

The ice covered the park ball which then slammed into the Flygon, luckily the Flygon was above the Surskit now so when the ball dropped away a part not covered in ice tapped the Surskit on the head which made the ball pop open spraying small bits of ice in all direction some striking the Surskit and some hitting the Flygon, you could hear a whoosh as the Surskit became a bright red light and was sucked into the Park ball.

The park ball dropped onto the now small platform of mud that had started to dry and crack in the sunlight through the canopy. The ball wobbled left and right stopping and then continuing, making the trainer Leo nervous before it wobbled once more and then came to a halt. The ping sung across the now slightly muddy water signalling that the Pokémon Surskit was captured.

The ranger Talon turned to Leo and said “congratulations, you have caught your first park Pokémon a Surskit.” As Talon finished saying this he moved towards the ball scooping it up and placed it in his satchel that was hanging of his shoulder.

“Nice job you did there Leo, I was impressed.”

“Shall we move on to another location?” Talon asked now with a rather large grin on his face.

“I think I’m up for something new especially seeing as I just got this awesome girl Surskit.” Leo said with one of the biggest grins on his face, which got even bigger when he realised that this was his first park capture.

“So shall we go this way?” Leo said whilst he pointed to the east covering his eyes from the glare of the sun.

Talon nodded, offering a smile to Leo, before leading him down the pathway that he had chosen. The sun was very slowly rising up into the sky, and the trees loomed on either side of the pathway. The ranger couldn't help but hear a buzzing sound nearby, but not that of a Combee, it was far different. Talon narrowed his eyes, focusing on the noise.

"You said you like bug Pokemon?" Talon asked. "I think one is coming this way."

A large red dragonfly came bursting into the pathway that Talon and Leo were walking down, its large green eyes locking onto the trainer, as it fluttered rapidly towards him, floating just out of reach, examining the trainer. The Yanma remained hovering in front of Leo, and appeared to be content with him.

"It seems that the Yanma likes you." Talon stated. "You interested in capturing it?"
