Ranger Sammy

I pulled on the coat I was wearing. It was raining and I was late. This was going great. Galvantula was chasing after me, a little ticked at having to run here with me. The lake looked lovely, and they were rather nice looking even with the rain. I saw a few Poliwags jump into a near pound. I let out a sigh of relief as I approved the large gate. I pushed it open, and held it for Galvantula. He gave me a ticked look, and I realized that he must not have wanted to walk all that way. I Held up his ball and called him into it.


I looked around the gate area. I was the only one here. That was good, I wasn’t late. It would be bad if I were late of my fist assignment. I spotted a rock and decided to sit on it. The rain seemed to be stopping but it was still overcast. That was a shame; I had heard that the lakes looked the best in the sunlight. I took the time to open the small file that I had been given. I looked up at the clouds and waited for him, only a little interested in the file I was given.

"Rain's nice isn't it Ludi?" Alex asked his platypus-like Pokemon. Ludicolo smiled and started to dance around, basking in the pouring rain. Alex laughed and continued to walk down the muddy path, heading up towards the Great Lakes. He was going to explore the Great Lakes with a fellow colleague, called Sammy. It had been a long time since Alex had been on a run in a while and somewhat missed the experience of meeting new Pokemon. He glanced at Ludicolo, dancing in the rain, and remembered his first run in which he caught him as a Lotad. Alex quickly felt the cold reality of a wet raindrop down his back and marched forward towards a gate.

Alex looked over the gate and noticed Sammy sitting down on a rock with his partner Galvantula. Alex opened the gate and greeted Sammy, "Hello Sammy, I'm Alex and this is Ludicolo." Ludicolo raised his right hand in a welcoming gesture.

"Ready to go?" Alex asked.

A man walked over to the rock I was sitting on. I guess. (Well, I knew from looking at the file that I had been given) That this was Mr. Alex Fisher.


"Hello Sammy, I'm Alex and this is Ludicolo." His Ludicolo made a waving motion at me, and I gave a smile and waved back at it.

"Ready to go?" Alex asked.


"Yup," I nodded as I faced the lakes, "Let's go!" I opened the other gate and walked through. There wasn't really any kind of roads here, more like planks going over many little lakes. The rain had completely stopped now, and the sky had become clear. Well there was still a few stringy clouds in the sky, but I was a good day for a walk in the parks. Or the Lakes. We Soon came to a Pokemon, which was standing on the dock thing we were walking on. It was a yellow duck like Pokemon.


"Would you like a Psyduck?" I ask, pointing at the Pokemon.
