Individual RP: Déjàvu

After hours and hours of writing, Joe was feeling tired. He slouched back in his chair and stared outside. He had been moved to Meteor Valley to keep an eye out for any strange activity. There had been reports of smugglers around the Power Plant, and that the Valleys attracted these people.

Joe took a breather and walked outside, the fresh wind blowing at his face. He also was on duty for any trainers to come to these parts to capture new and exciting Ghost and Psychic Pokemon. Then immediately behind him, a medium height Pokemon came out. His tall shell like crown and his salmon skin shone in the bright light of the sun.

"Master Smith, something seems strange today, I have a feeling something will happen," Slowking said to Joe, via telepathy.

Joe was worried when Slowking had a bad feeling, because most of the time, he was right. He sat on the step of the outpost and looked down the small dirt trail that lead to the outpost.

“This is cold” said Robert as he walked through the valleys, to his Pokémon and only companion on that trip, a red and gray Pokémon that was covered in blades, although Holly, the Bisharp could protect him, Robert felt anxious as they got away from the entrance.
“Hope we get to the post soon, this place creeps me out” he whispered in a soft tone to Holly that answered with a quick growl as to say yes. As they walked they saw a man and a Pokémon that seemed to have a shell on its head. In excitement, they rushed to the post.
When they finally got there, they stopped for a while to take a breather, when a voice was heard “Welcome to Meteor Valley, me and Ranger Joe will be guiding you” said telepathically a sympathetic Pokémon “I’m Slowking” he said “And you must be Robert. Let’s go?”

 

OOC: Next time prevent from using my character, just some rules of the Park. But nevertheless it's a good first post. Also mostly when I speak to my Pokemon, only Joe can hear him, and Slowking only talks to Joe.

“Welcome to Meteor Valley, I will be guiding you through the park” said Joe, “This is Slowking” he said as he pointed towards the Pokemon sitting beside him, “And you must be Robert?" Joe asked the trainer., who agreed with the nod of the head.

Meteor Valleys was an amazing place to visit, it mainly consisted of a lot of tunnel networks, there is also a large hole in the middle of the valley with a waterfall crashing down onto the small lake at the bottom. Joe had a route that he would take Robert and show him all the amazing places that the Meteor Valley's had to offer.

They started to walk towards a large tunnel entrance when a small gray Pokemon slowly crept out of a bush, by the side of the the tunnel. It snarled at the group with its small white dangerous teeth. It was common to see this Pokemon around these Pokemon, they like the open space that the Valley's offered.

"Would you like this Poochyena?" Joe asked Robert.

“Not really” said Robert “although those little critters are lovely, I’m not very good with dog like Pokémon” he took a breather and continued “when I was younger a Luxio shocked me so strongly I ended up with some bad burns, and I created this kind of resistance to dog Pokémon and electric ones”.
Then he directed to Poochyena that had an angry expression “Hey, little pal, we mean no harm to you, it’s your home after all” he said with a smile on his lips. The gray hound Pokémon gave a few steps back but continued on guard, awaiting a few minutes to see Robert’s response.

 

“Not really,” said Robert, “although those little critters are lovely, I’m not very good with dog like Pokémon,” he took a little breather and continued, “when I was younger a Luxio shocked me so strongly I ended up with some bad burns, and I created this kind of resistance to dog Pokémon and electric ones”.

Joe smiled, it was nice to know a bit more about you trainer. Joe slowly walked over towards Poochyena and started to reassure the small Pooch Pokemon. Joe removed some small brown cube pieces and held them out towards Poochyena. Some Pokemon depended on Ranger's feeding them because they were abandoned when they were born. Poochyena slowly nibbled on the food.

Once Poochyena had eaten all the Pokefood, Alex and Joe set off down the large tunnel. As the walked further inside the tunnel, the light slowly diminished. Joe looked down at his Slowking and said to him, "It's getting a bit dark, can you use Flash to light up the way".

Slowking nodded and the small red jewel on his crown started to shine and produce a bright light that illuminated the tunnel. A flock of Zubat quickly scampered from their nesting perches and flew further down the tunnel. However, we were stopped short as two silhouettes started to approach us from within the shadows. I heard the echos of purring and as they walked out from within the shadows; a small Purrloin stared at us curiously.

However, we were stopped short as two silhouettes started to approach us from within the shadows. I heard the echos of purring and as they walked out from within the shadows; a small Purrloin stared at us curiously.

"Would you like to battle this Purrloin?" Joe asked Robert.

“Not really” said Robert with a little embarrassment tone, he didn’t want that the ranger would think bad things of him “ It’s just that, cat Pokémon … “ he paused, and as the ranger made a curious expression he continued in an almost inaudible tone “ are just to lovely, and I can’t bring myself to battle them”
The Ranger tried to contain some laughter ,as he remembered, that some of trainers had their own restrictions.

 

“Not really” said Robert with a little embarrassment tone, It looked like that Robert was almost hoping that Joe wouldn't think badly of him, “ It’s just that, cat Pokémon … “ he paused and then said, “ are just to lovely, and I can’t bring myself to battle them”

Joe nodded in agreement, obviously this trainer must love pet's. Just as Joe was about to feed the devilish feline Pokemon, Purrloin quickly scampered away further down the tunnel. Almost like it had seen a ghost. Joe looked confused and looked back at Robert. He saw a small light blue orb floating behind Robert's back. A bright white flash shone towards Joe from the center of the orb. Joe slowly pushed Robert out the way and examined the Pokemon before him. Its head was pasted in a cyan-colored and a fin was placed on top of its head, and two bewitching, yellow eyes stared at Joe and Robert.

"Goll" Cried the Pokemon.

"I can see why the Purrloin left, it had seen a ghost," Joe joked and he turned towards Robert and asked, "Do you want to battle this Golett?"

Joe quickly nodded as to say yes, trainers that had a love for the common et kind of Pokémon like cats, dogs and birds aren’t uncommon, but just as Joe was about to feed that lovely little devilish feline Pokémon, Purrloin raised its guard, as if it was sensing something, after a few seconds it quickly ran away into the tunnel but not without rendering Joe and Robert a confused face. In fact Purrloin’s face had an expression more than just a scared one; it was almost like it had seen a ghost. Joe, now with a confused look, looked at Robert. He saw a small foggish teal-like orb floating behind Robert's back. A bright white flash then gleamed towards Joe from the center of the orb. Joe slowly pushed Robert out the way and examined the Pokémon before him. Its head was pasted in a cyan-colored and a fin was placed on top of its head, and two bewitching, yellow eyes stared blankly at Joe and Robert.


"Goll" Cried the Pokémon.


"I can see why the Purrloin left, it had seen a ghost," Joe joked and he turned towards Robert and asked, "Do you want to battle this Golett?"

“Yes” he said “ in fact when I was a kid “he paused, he didn’t want to bring the ranger in another of his boring past stories, but as he paused the ranger made an expression that said Go ahead and so he continued “ and I had just gotten Holly, that was a Pawniard back then, we ended up wandering in Celestial Tower ,where I found a stray Golett, I was scared with the place, a dim place, with a creepy blue candlelight illumination, when a Golett appeared, and I tried to battle him, but he fled, that day I swore I’d catch a Golett” Joe that had been hearing the story patiently then just pointed out that Golett was going away.

Robert then, shouted “Wait! Golett want to fight you” then the strange little critter grinned and came back “Close Call” he said that to himself “First I need to see the environment, and how it can help me “continued him.
Robert then took some time to take notice of his surroundings, the tunnel was actually more like a cave, it wasn’t as narrow as first expected by Robert, that actually explained how many Pokémon could live in a tunnel. There was a faint smell of wet ground nearby, which could have been used as a water source by the Pokémon that there dwelled.

He then proceeded to attack “Holly” he said to his Bisharp, a Pokémon that was mostly scarlet, and had its body encrusted with blades and sharp protuberances “let’s make a combo” he now shouted filled with determination” Let’s mix Night Slash and Fury Cutter” as Bisharp ran to attack he thought That will make him with few to no space to maneuver.
Before his attack success, he with a focused face, tried to think of combinations and strategies, while he knew that he couldn’t run wild, he’d have to put some effort on it.

 

“Yes” Robert said “In fact when I was a kid," he paused, almost like he was thinking of something. Joe quickly interrupted Robert, it was a nice story and everything but Golett was getting away.

Robert shouted “Wait! Golett, I want to fight you” then the strange little critter grinned and came back. Joe watched as Robert started to observe his surroundings, something which Rangers try and encourage Trainers to do. When Robert was finished, he called out towards his Bisharp.

"Holly, let’s make a combo, Let’s mix Night Slash and Fury Cutter,” Joe grinned, it was good that new Trainers were getting used to using combos in their battles.

Bisharp starting things away by charging towards the small light blue ghost Pokemon. She raised each arm outwards, like she was a airplane soaring through the sky. As she got closer to Golett, each arm changed a different colour. One changed into a dark lime green and the other into a dark black colour, like night itself. Then as she was in contact with Golett, she started to slice down with her sharp hands against the body of Golett. Golett was sent flying against the cave wall and created a large dirt cloud. Joe couldn't see Golett, as it was hidden by the thick dust cloud.

Then suddenly, as the dust cloud settled, there were dozens of Golett, surrounding Bisharp. Golett must have used the dust cloud as a distraction to make copies of itself. Bisharp was now in trouble, as it needed to find the right Golett.

"Holly, let’s make a combo, Let’s mix Night Slash and Fury Cutter,” Joe slightly smiled, it was good that new Trainers were getting used to using combos in their battles, after all it is practical and made them have more time for enjoying the National Park’s scenery and possibilities.

Bisharp started things away by dashing towards the small light blue ghastly golem, although it was a small Pokémon, it was very powerful, so Robert played it safe. She raised each arm outwards, like she was an airplane soaring through the sky. As she got closer to the little golem, each arm changed a different colour. One changed into a dark lime green and the other into a dark black colour, like night itself. Then as she was in contact with Golett, each arm took different actions, one - the dark lime green one- started stabbing while the other - the dark purple night - started slashing. Golett couldn’t defend itself from the attacks that came from two different directions, so he ended taking the attack. Golett was sent flying against the cave wall and created a large dirt cloud. Neither Joe nor Robert nor Holly could see Golett, as it was hidden by the thick dust cloud created by his impact.

Then suddenly, as the dust cloud settled, there were dozens of Golett, surrounding Bisharp. Golett must have used the dust cloud as a distraction to make copies of itself. Bisharp was now in trouble, as it needed to find the right Golett.
“Okay Holly” said Robert with a little anxiety, mixed with enthusiasm “look closely to them “he said “I got a plan, come here Holly!” he said.
As Holly approached he was preparing his plan, he quickly muttered some words to Bisharp and then it took off.
Bisharp dashed once more to the Goletts and as she prepared her attack, her hands grew a dark lime green shade and then she attacked.
“Holly, after finding out the real one, Night Slash it!”Shouted Robert, now in the spur of the moment and the heat of the battle.
