    OOC: Sorry for being late
    BIC: I was quickly approaching the National Park. For a jolly season, things were not happy here. Apparently there was a huge winter storm in the Outer Heavens, which has only been getting worse. And the teleporters didn't work, meaning the journey to the Outer Heavens would have to be by foot. Even though it wasn't a great time, I was wearing a beard just like Santa's for the holiday spirit.

    Walking beside me was my Torterra. It was most certainly not enjoying the cool weather, shivering much and constantly trying to avoid the snow. I knew it was best not to question why Torterra avoided it, so I never thought much about it. Finally, I made my way to the dock.

    After entering the park, the first area to explore was the Botanic Gardens. I withdrew Torterra so that I could get through fast, but something slowed me down. Along the way, a small acorn like creature rammed me. I stumbled a bit backward, but regained my balance a bit after. The creature was a Seedot most certainly, and it didn't seem friendly.

    I decided to go and battle this Seedot. After sending out a red and white ball from my pack, a Forretress came out. He was a shy fellow, but that never stopped him from being a good battler. "Alright Forretress." I started. "Let's get that Seedot off our backs with a Payback!" I certainly wondered how it was feeling today, and trial and error was the best way to find out.

    Forretress obeyed me, thankfully meaning it was in a good mood. And Seedot tried to retaliate against the steel-shelled bug by using the power of the icy environment. Luckily for me though, it didn't do much against Forretress. "Okay Forretress" I started. "Could you please do another Payback for me!"

    After Seedot was defeated by a lucky hit on Forretress's part, I started trekking some more. A Girafarig soon appeared out of the bushes. Its giraffe side looked very friendly. But after approaching it, its other face appeared. That side didn't look as friendly, and I soon said "alright Forretress, if this Girafarig tries to attack, hit it back with a bug bite! That might give it a little pain."

    The Girafarig sustained a bit of damage from the Payback, but it wasn't over yet. Soon, Forretress was levitated higher than it normally was, and smashed into the ground. I was shocked at what happened, and needed a way to hit it back.

    "Alright Forretress. Let's hit this thing with a Payback to get back at it for the damage done!" I soon commanded. I hoped that Forretress had not gotten bored of using the move, for it does get boring when used multiple times.

    Soon enough, after fending off the Girafarig, a Nuzleaf was encountered. Forretress probably could have been able to defeat one under normal circumstances, but this wasn't a normal one. It was tired from fighting off a Seedot and Girafarig, and I knew it needed a break. "Alright Forretress. I'll recall you now and send out somebody else to fight Nuzleaf." I could see what appeared to be relief in the bagworm's eyes when I recalled it and sent out my next party member. "Alright Sudowoodo. I trust you to defeat this Nuzleaf!" I exclaimed as the rocky tree was sent out of its ball. "Let's start in the offensive. Use a Hammer Arm on the Nuzleaf to get a quick advantage." I knew this was Sudoowodo's game, she was not the kind to back out of a hand-to-hand fight.
