Winter 2015 URPG Promotions

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Pokemon Ultra RPG.

I have been a member here for a very long time and during that time I have had the opportunity to meet and work with many wonderfully talented individuals. These dedicated people embodied the traits and ideals of true leadership, striving to ensure that our community continues to aim towards greater heights and successes. They demonstrated great acts of service in their dedication to their fellow URPGers.

And so it is today that we again recognize the many key individuals who are pillars in our community. Those who led us before and those who will lead us now.



Those We Acknowledge


Bumblebee

Bee has always been a leader in our community, including before he was promoted to the URPG leadership. His dedication and good nature ensured that our community continued to thrive, even during the most difficult of times. He was a good example to those around him and if we were all a bit more like Bee, we’d all be better people for it. I wish him the best of luck.


SLCalamity

SLC has been a dedicated leader who has worked to maintain and improve our Contests section. He took it over from ATF and has done a remarkable job during his time here with us. With great intelligence and creativity, he has advanced Contests forward and has served as a responsible and brilliant official. He will be missed.


In addition, the following leaders will continue to be serving on the URPG Leadership Team as Officials: BlueTowel, ChainReaction01, Princess Crow, We Taste Pies…



Those We Congratulate


Ace Trainer Liam

Liam is one of our rising stars in the URPG. He believes in what we do here and who we are. He advocates the need to reach out to those around us, including the communities we reside in. He encourages timeliness and proactivity, believing that it is what we do that matters most. He is a man of action and I am proud to promote him to the position of Official.


Ash K.

Okay, first off, we all know Ash. He has an amazing code of conduct that he adheres to without question. For example, he keeps insisting we try to hold more Contests. He always checks the forums to make sure all the threads are properly updated. And he refuses to call me “Harry”. That’s dedication. Upon this bedrock of stability, the URPG will never crumble. I promote him to the position of Moderator.


Elysia

Elysia is one of the most talented writers we have ever seen in the URPG. And while that would be noteworthy in and of itself, she’s also an amazing leader who’s dedicated to ensuring that those around her continue to grow and learn. She’s an inspiration to all of those around her and I am happy to grant her the position of Official.


Siless

Siless reminds me of many of the most dedicated leaders I’ve met in my time. He’s always striving to help out in some form or another and carries with him an eternally positive attitude. His fascination with cats notwithstanding, Siless possesses many of the traits of a true leader. From this point forward, he is an Official of the URPG.


Smiles

I can count on my hands the number of people who have introduced an entirely new section to the URPG. Smiles is one of them. On top of being a talented writer, an amazing leader, a good friend, and a bright soul; she is an innovator of prodigious skill. Plus she’s super friendly and nice and probably the most hyper-happy person out of any of us. It is my pleasure to grant her the position of Moderator.


Swiftgallade46

I’ve known Swift for some time now and figured this day would come sooner or later. Perhaps I may have even waited too long. Swift is a man destined for greatness. You can see this in the way he holds himself and the way he approaches challenges. He has a natural leadership and people trust his judgement. It was only a matter of time before he became a Moderator and I am proud to grant him that title.


Sou Cleife

One of the nicest members around, Sou is a bright young woman with many ideas on how to help the URPG. She strives to take into account the opinions and thoughts of those around her and hopes to be able to help the various creative sections. Although she joined recently, she brings with her a fresh perspective. On my authority, I name her an Official of the URPG.


Soulmaster

Soul has a lot of great ideas. Big ideas. Ideas so amazing that they could redefine what it means to be a URPGer. I can think of no other member who has done more to try and refine this system into a better state. He is truly a remarkable engineer and I am happy to promote him to the position of Official.


EmBreon

When I do promotions on Bulbagarden, I have to ask the administrators to make all the permission changes. But for some reason, Emma still has access to the staff board no matter what I do. So I’m re-promoting her to Official. It’s just easier this way.

Congrats to all of those who got promoted! There were several that were about time and a few that were surprising.

It's sad to see you go, Bee and SLC. Y'all may leave but you certainly will never be forgotten.

 

Emma's reason is best reason.

Thank you, and congrats everyone! I'll be sure to do my best, but I'm not sure what I can say that can't be said by internet cats and adorable Ralts, but I'm also not going to spam pictures here, but I can say I for sure feel that everyone else is qualified for their new positions, and I hope I can meet that standard as well. Yay!

Congratulations to all the new Staff members! I can sincerely say that you all deserve the positions you've been given (except this "Swift" character he sounds lame), and I know you will all do the URPG community proud as we begin to rebuild and maybe even soar to new heights of activity some day!

I will miss my bumblebee ;~; and good luck to SLC on his university endeavors!!

Thanks and congrats to all you guys! Woo fresh faces! Changes! Activity... right? Yea! I'm excited, I get to do official stuff now! Sad to see Bee and SLC leave, I'm glad I'm able to say I knew those guys and they were p. awesome. Alright, time to get officiating!

To the new Officials, welcome to URPG Staff Dungeon! Contrary to what Harry may or may not have told you, we do not have cookies. Instead, you've basically signed a contract saying that you'll never really get to leave us. Emma can tell you all about that though.
