URPG Promotions and Resignations - December 2013

It is with great honor and a bit of sadness that I make this announcement. I've been a member of the Pokemon Ultra RPG for more than a decade now and I've seen many, many leaders come and go. Such is the way of the URPG and life. New generations will always rise to take the place of the old, carrying forth the cherished traditions while forging a bold, new future.

So let us remember to honor the past and welcome tomorrow.


Those We Remember

Alaskapigeon

I think Alaska brought a certain level of fun to the URPG, sharing with us her unique personality and enthusiastic nature. She was a key leader in Stories, ensuring that the countless tales were read and graded. She inherited a hard job from those before her, yet handled it with grace and charity. I shall miss her on the team.

Dog of Hellsing

Jess has been a key part of the URPG since our days on Pe2K and is perhaps one of the oldest members we have. Her dedication to our community lead to the introduction of the Park, a system that had been years in development before she finally pushed it forward with dedicated and competent leadership. She returned RP to the URPG and we must always remember that amazing gift she gave us.

Roulette

Roulette was a dependable and friendly leader in our community. He knew the score and took time to ensure everything ran smoothly. He strove to bring together members from different communities and integrate us together into one family. To him, it didn't matter where we came from, only that we should unite under one banner for the good of all. I thank him for his service.

AmericanTreeFrog

ATF is, and always will be, one of the best leaders the URPG has ever seen. His work in Contests was unmatched and he helped bring about a new way of playing the URPG that hadn't been seen before. Like his brother before him, ATF boasted strong leadership abilities. He knew how to work well with others and create a community of good will and good fun. He truly was and is a URPG pioneer.

EmBreon

I've written a number of times about Emma and all she's done. In times of trouble, she always put the URPG first and held firm to her beliefs. She stood by me when we faced terrible challenges and helped me in the darkest hours. I cannot thank her enough. Emma will move from her position of Moderator to Official. We are all happy that she will continue to stay on as a dedicated leader to our community.


Those We Congratulate

BlueTowel

BT probably should have been an Official a long time ago. His dedication and commitment to the URPG is unmatched. He works hard to ensure that our community remains one of fun and joy for all. His efforts to uphold honor and fairness is beyond compare. I am proud to invite him to the URPG leadership.

Felly

No one can deny that Felly's enthusiastic She's smart, funny, and heavily dedicated to the URPG (and PWN). She desires the URPG become a better place, and hopes to bring new activity and fun to our community. Her leadership experience and fun attitude will be welcome when she takes her place as a URPG Official.

SLCalamity

SLC, as you may already know, will be taking over Contests from ATF, continuing the URPG tradition of passing the torch. Personally, I know Contests will be in good hands. SLC has the intelligence and creativity to lead the section to the next level, and I can't wait to see what he does with it. He will do what is necessary to make Contests fun for everyone and that is a noble cause. I am happy to promote him to URPG Official.

Princess Crow

Hannah, like many before her, inherited many duties and responsibilities in Stories. And she met and overcame all challenges before her. Her leadership in Stories is akin to that of famous Story Heads like Kat or George. Friendly and spirited, Hannah is a true leader in the URPG and I can think of no other way of thanking her other than promoting her to Moderator.

WinterVines

I am thankful for Winter's kindness and charity. I am grateful for her dedication and honesty. I appreciate the love she's shown the community and her willingness to serve those around her. She is respected by all because she deserves respect for everything she has done. With her, we are a better community, so I am proud to promote Winter to the rank of Moderator.

Congrats, you guys! Lives are officially over.

For those who left, hope you hop in every now and then.

 

Congratulations to all those joining the staff team/furthering their roles of leadership! I doubt there could be a stronger list of new staff leaders, and you all will take URPG to new heights!

Sadly saying goodbye to some of my first URPG friends, however. All these fallen leaders will be remembered as heroes in URPG or something cheesy like that. You will be missed - hopefully you'll still remember to pop onto AIM sometimes and say hi!

I'd like to congratulate all of you on your hard work and dedication to the community . I know I've been waiting a long time to see SLC become an Official.

Thank you everyone who is leaving us. It's been a pleasure to sit back and watch you all help the URPG grow. You guys did a great job and I do hope to see everyone again.
