    Personality:
    A boy of few words, who spends most of his time with his Pokémon rather than with other people, especially when it comes to strangers. That doesn't mean he's antisocial to the point where he avoids contact with others at all. In fact, despite his quietness, he can actually be very caring for his friends, having no problem with helping anyone in trouble or asking for his assistance, and even resort to daring acts in the more serious situations. That goes for his Pokémon aswell. He will avoid confrontation when it is not necessary to prevent injuries to his Pokémon, but he won't back off when challenged. In battle, he tries to analise the situation and possible scenarios before acting.​
    Description:
    Standing at 1,80m tall and very thin, with a short brown hair. Usually wears a dark-grey t-shirt with the initial "R" in the upper-half, grey tight pants, tall boots, and a pair of gloves. Using warmer clothing is usually not necessary, since he has his Ponyta out most of the time, and is the most practical for rides. The belt has an extention where pokeballs can be attached to slots when in miniature size, though it can only carry up to 3 balls at a time. It also has a small pocket to keep essential stuff like medicine, berries, and other small tools, aswell as the remaining pokeballs.​

    Description:
    Iris was Rick's first Pokémon, and the two have become inseparable since she was adopted from a barn. As an unevolved Ponyta, she's already strong enough to be ridden (mostly for Rick's low weight), but still not enough to carry him for very long distances, so Rick only rides her if it's really necessary. Most like her trainer, she won't back down from any battle, even when in a clear disadvantage and the circumstances are not the best suited. Rick also keeps her out of her pokeball at almost every time, only being recalled in case of injury or illness, or when going into places where she can't really be out. As such, she never got much used to be encased, and somewhat dislikes it.​

    The second member of Rick's main team, Zephir was only acquired at the Pokémart as an Eevee five months after Rick started. He is the main support of the team, and Iris' partner. Zephir spends most of his time sleeping on the treetops or any higher spots. Despite that, he's still well aware of the surroundings - if something gets nearby, he will probably keep focus on it, untill he loses track. Depending on how much curious he is, he might even follow the source for a while. Despite having mostly a support role, he's very capable of fighting by itself just as well, even if he prefers to stay on the backline.​
