    Hello everyone.

I've been thinking about the Dream World abilities a lot lately, and I've been wondering exactly how they are going to be incorporated into the URPG.
Are people going to be able to do some sort of payment to have the Dream World ability at their disposal for a certain Pokemon? Or are we going to make the Dream World into a National Park sort of thing, where you can catch a Pokemon that has a dream world ability, and possibly a DW move?

I'm simply wondering, and figured we could all discuss it.

(If this belongs somewhere else, please say)

Something like that in the Daycare.

While it is a logical idea, I don't personally think it is enough to gett his abilities, some of which are much better than the Pokemon's current one or two available abilities. Has a pricing plan been worked out for this?

Buy the DW abilities at Daycare for 5-10k sounds reasonable to me.

Probably 5k. And this is not necessarily true. Why would I use Mold Breaker Doryuuzuu over Sand Throw?

I'm not saying all abilities are better, but they are some abilities that make a big difference for some Pokemon.

Because then you can use EQ on gengar.

But I think the point isn't that 5k isn't enough for all, it's that it isn't enough for some.

    Like speed boost blaziken.

Which is why variable price would be decent, but then again some daycare moves are also better than others, yet they all cost the same.

However, I think dreamworld abilities should be a clause.
Like you could turn them off if you want as part of battle rules.

A Clause would be handy. Or you can write to capture Pokemon with the desired ability? I think there are a lot of options that we could use to utilise the Dream World properly.

How about increasing the BM/MT/SM move limit from five to 6 and then having the Dream World Ability take up one of those slots (and taught in the same manner)?

I like the Doctor's suggestion; it also resolves the wish for more bm/mt/sm's being taught. As for writing for other pokemon with that ability, I think that'd make things too difficult - people may need to have 2 of every mon if they like the variety, which would be far more effort than an extra ability would be worth. If we go with Stubbsberg's way, we don't have to worry about setting variable costs for abilities, or a single cost that's worth it for each mon, or how much it would be worth for you to just have the option. (The other alternative would be to just have Pokemon have the option of the third ability, mayhap as a clause, and not worry about extra reqs at all.)

I think spending 5k for one mon to unlock its Dream World ability is a good idea. Not very complex, and it would work without fault.

We could also have an item in the mart that unlocks all of ur mons' Dream World abilities (though it would probably have to be a higher price)

It's not like anything said here is going to be final. I don't see why they can't discuss it in the mean time, generate some ideas. They're staying on topic. ;)

EDIT: NVMD Feng's right, close it.

Reiterating, we must have verified and 100% understood content to discuss with. Using conjurations of the Dream World to brainstorm with will lead to nothing, making this thread much more of a speculation thread than a discussion thread.

    Therefore,

Lack of English Version = Lack of Information

Lack of Information = Speculation + No Straightforward Discussion

    Closed until Spring 2011 ~_~

    What Feng said.

You can discuss the possibilities that B/W will bring into URPG of course. Feel free to use this thread for discussion.
