Test: ChainReaction01 and Synthesis

Jolteon was really getting low on health now and I knew we had to do something to heal him up quickly. "Jolteon, try use your Wish attack. It should heal you up soon, if it works correctly."

Afterwards we could focus on attacking whatever Pokemon Chain's Gyarados couldn't finish off. Hopefully these Pokemon wouldn't prove to be as difficult as some of the earlier ones we've faced.

With the rainstorm back up, we could now work on defeating the Pokemon at hand. I heard that Syn was commanding his Jolteon to heal, and that sounded like a good idea to me. Unfortunately, Gyarados didn't have a healing move. That meant that the best form of defense was attacking.

"Gyarados, attack the Larvesta with Surf!" I yelled.

Gyarados roared and surged towards the small bug, bringing an Olympic swimming pool's worth of water with her. I knew for sure that I wouldn't want to be that Larvesta right about now.

 

Jolteon looked into the ceiling and began focusing its vision. It could envision a star passing by in outer space. Jolteon continued to glance onward making a wish as it passed by.

Gyarados sprayed water on the ground filling up the room a little with a small pool. Gyarados then slapped its tail down and created a wave with the motion. The wave took Larvesta and smacked it into the wall so hard drenching it with water in the process. Larvesta just laid there and coughed up a splash of water in defeat. (KO)

Vulpix tried to conjure up some fire but the rain just kept putting it out and making it weaker. It then summoned a dark glow around its body charging at the distracted Jolteon. It slammed hard and had some added damage with the aura created by the user's malice and desire for revenge (Payback)

Meanwhile, Charmander panicked at the sight of its KO'd ally and tried to use one of its fingernails to injure Gyarados. The nail was not sharp and it could not cut through Gyarados' thick skin leaving behind only a scrape in the process (Cut)

The clouds evened out a little more but rain was still trickling down.

The rushing water did just as I wanted it to - the Larvesta was washed away by the flood. When the water subsided I couldn't even see it anywhere - it must have fled down a side passage or something. It didn't matter where it had gone - all that mattered was that it was no longer an obstacle.

There was some still remaining, though. Syn's Wish would still need a bit more time to activate. I had to buy him that time. Out of the two remaining Pokemon, I decided that Charmander was the bigger threat - after all, it evolved into the powerful Charizard, and I didn't want to bet against it knowing a really powerful move like Belly Drum.

"Great job Gyarados, now hit the Charmander with an Aqua Tail!" I ordered.

The retreating water that had just been used in the Surf attack stopped moving away. It rushed back towards Gyarados, congealing around the long Pokemon's tail. It almost looked like one of the crude block hammers, except the metal was replaced with water. Gyarados roared and swung her dangerous tail towards the small red lizard.

 

Charmander jumped up and tried to scratch at Guarados' tough exterior, doing very little damage. I kept an eye on Jolteon as he performed the Wish attack and hoped to restore some health soon. As soon as I took my eye off him, I saw Vulpix disappear for a second, before reappearing and slamming into Jolteon.

"Jolteon, try and use Protect. If we can avoid damage this turn then we can be healed by Wish at the end of the turn. Besides, you can't knock out Vulpix by yourself."

Jolteon reacted quick as his eyes flashed blue. A protective screen suddenly surrounded his entire body. It was extremely strong but it took a lot of energy to maintain making it only last briefly

Gyarados lifted its huge tail out of the water and flung it backwards. Even quicker, it slapped Charmander on the face knocking it straight back into the wall. Charmander laid motionless as if it had a concussion from the unbelievably hard hit (KO)

Vulpix looked at Jolteon's focus in the sky. Vulpix stared into the ceiling and envisioned the moon as well. It suddenly gave off a pleasent, yet ominous wail. The strength it found made its muscles tense, so it might hit harder. (Howl)

Suddenly, Jolteon basked in a bright light. Stars appeared around it as well. With a flash of white, Jolteon looked remarkably better than he was previously. The wish had come true

The clouds were starting to fizzle out but rain could still be felt

As a blue screen coated Jolteon, Gyarados dealth with the Charmander. Smacking it with a high-powered Aqua Tail. As the Charmander splatted into the wall in an almost-comical manner, I couldn't help but cringe. The Vulpix gave out a soft wail to the sky then, before the white wispy stars of wish encircled Jolteon. When they vanished, he was looking as good as new.

"Looks like the rain won't last much longer, but neither will this Togekiss hopefully. Jolteon, smack it with a Thunder!"
