Report a Gym Idea

I think there should be a thread where you can post if you were denied the opportunity to challenge a gym. You can also post if you are having trouble finding the leader on AIM and he/she won't respond at your attempts to schedule a battle through PM or VM. This will make it easier to differentiate leaders who deny challenges often or aren't active from the ones that just don't get challenged. It will also serve as a preventative measure, as some leaders will not want to be posted about.

A single report won't really do anything, but an arbitrary number of reports on a single leader in an arbitrary time span will.

I really like this idea. The Roll Call is flawed so that absent gym leaders can come and say they are here and bugger off again

I had the idea weeks ago, Volcan!!!!!!!!! :conangry:

Anyway, we now have a thread up in this very section for reporting gyms.

 

Can we also use that thread to report gym closures in advance (as leaders) so people know why they aren't getting battles?

Saves people the effort of reporting us if our reasons for closure are known.

 

Depends if putting all your Pokemon in daycare to max their movesets counts XD

 

I'm talking things like tyhe reason I am closed..I won't re-open till sunday when I've had a chance to play b/w and learn some mons properly...just makes for quicker battles..

thursday is going to be an epic day, a new compy, new jeans and most importantly...pokémon white.

 

I suppose you can post to say you're 'closing' your gym in advance, but people can still post if they find it to be problematic.

 

just wondering, would you post in the thread if a gym leader denied you because he was going out and said he would battle you once he came back?

 

Generally if a gym is closed, there is a valid reason

no, leaders have lives too...

if I have uni, you'll have to wait, if I'm going out, you can wait...

there are plenty of times I've waited 20 mins so i can have lunch before the battle.

the battle still happens pretty promptly though

 

If he/she doesn't come back when he/she said he/she would, or doesn't allow you to set up a date and time, then you probably should. Always try to set a date and time if you can't get a battle right away.
