So PWN is interested in making a forum skin with a URPG theme for us since we are interested in joining them for the RPG Hub. (Also is it weird talking about PWN Leadership considering that their leadership are mostly URPGers? (aka Smiles and Felly))

They need some information from us on what we want:

    Main Pokemon:
    Main color scheme:
Logo Idea (Fonts, what the logo should say/include, etc.):
    Specific images:
    Extra Details:

What elements do you think our theme should have?

Is anyone interested in submitting anything for this?

If not, I suppose we can let PWN know we don't want a skin at the moment.

It's tough to decide what exactly a URPG theme is. We're such an expansive game that we really don't have any individual focus or colours or even a logo.

Togekiss has always been an ideal candidate imo but having an official mascot vote would be cool ;o

I feel like I should clear this up since the term "theme" may be a bit intimidating. I don't think I have to explain what a theme is because I feel like you're all familiar with the skin selector on BMGf (or PWN or PXR or whatever forum), so I'm going to skip that. We're basically trying to design a PWN skin for the URPG members more or less by the URPG members. I say more or less because I'm not giving you all access to the ACP to do the theme, but we want your input on it. What Pokemon gets used, what colors are used, and other things like that. Basically everything Harry put in that first post up there. We'll do the putting together of it (images, actually piecing it together, etc.), and when it's all done, we'll release it for you all to see; it'll be the theme that pops up in the URPG section of PWN that overrides whatever the default skin is and also whatever theme you've selected at the current time for the duration you're in that section.

It's basically just something that's for the URPG (and its members) by the URPG members. It probably won't encompass the whole of URPG because that's hard to do as we're such an expansive RPG with no one focus like Monbrey said, but it'd be more fair to the URPG members to let them design this, as you all know URPG well because you're a part of it, rather than just the PWN design team, who may or may not know much about URPG, do it.

We're doing this for y'all regardless of how long it takes, so however y'all wanna go about doing it, whether it's mascot voting or whatever, we'll work with y'all on it.

    Main Pokémon: Kanto starters
    Main Color Scheme: Light colors
Logo Idea: 'Imagine. Create. Compete.' from HKim's sig seems fine imo
Specific Images: Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle are sitting in a day-care-like room, looking up at a Ninetales, who is reading to them from a storybook. Perspective is from behind the Ninetales. There's also a Mew looking down at the book from on top of Ninetales' head or something.
Extra Details: Obviously the Pokémon represent different URPG members (at least, it's obvious to me)

Will be back to add more bad ideas later

Clearly the theme of URPG is battling-- or if not, it's hanging out, which actually is more-attractive IMO, though even less concrete.

I don't think the problem is that it's "such an expansive game" so much as the main focus (battling) doesn't require anybody to come up with any sort of team-colours or even a logo. You haven't done the branding because you haven't needed it. Right?

Though, I think having one would help with things like, "what should our youtube avatar be?" as well as what you're doing here.

All that aside, I think it'd be nice to have an light, creme-orange over normal-orange for a colour scheme. I'm no master at forum-skin design, but that'd sit pretty nicely with me. Nothing too bright or overpowering, just gentle sherbet colours. Idk what you'd put at the top as the banner. Maybe a Wailmer? :p

Main Pokemon: I like the idea of Pokemon that represent staff or urpg members, but in their basic forms so like: Charmander, Bulbasaur, Mew/Pichu, Vulpix, Ralts, Staryu(!), etc
Main color scheme: Depends on Image: see "Specific images".
Logo Idea (Fonts, what the logo should say/include, etc.): "Expand your horizons" is nice and cheesy, Harry's sig is also nice a cheesy, or just stating the name, "The Ultimate Pokemon Roll Playing Game"
Specific images: Either a sunset/horizon (colors would go with image, like soft reds/oranges/yellows and/or blues/purples depending on specific image), or space! Like a cosmos image (colors would be like darker purple/blue on lighter purple/blue/green depending on specific image)

We should make a theme with blackjack and hookers

In all seriousness though I guess just the common stuff?
Dnite, Kiss, Blaziken, Greninja, Espeon, Jolteon, etc.
