    PROJECT FIGHT

    HELLO MY FRIENDS

So, I proposed an idea in the URPG chat earlier to help spark up battling. We would hold an event that runs for every month, until I think of a better name we shall call it Project Fight.

    The idea behind it is:

We would get participants to sign up for this event and then every week, we’d have battles that need to take place. (Probably each person will have more than one battle). After every week, points will be totalled up and will be put in a standing. This will happen every week until the month is over and then the members with the highest number of points (First, Second, Third) will win a prize of some sort.

Think about it kind of like the WAR back on pe2k, every week battles take place and the points are gathered and whoever has the highest points wins. Yay. (Except the battles would be premade, (No IMing noobs for wins guys)

Since it would be an event that would always be running, the prize would be something the winners would appreciate but it wouldn’t be at the same level of a tournament prize.

Also, just incase there’s a whole thing about people not battling or battles that have not taken place, the points would be awarded as: 3 points for winning, 1 for losing and 0 points for not battling. (If the case of someone not being around for the week, his opponent will get the win but only receive 2 points)

So this way, even if you lose a battle you still get points for trying and keep you in the running.

Give me your opinions/feedback, I really dislike how everyone just sits in the URPG chat talking about whatever and battles happening once in a blue moon, we need to add the hype back into the URPG.

    Also, like if you like

    EDIT:

    Feedback section:

KantoMasta on AIM mentioned the expansion with TPW and I realized that this could be a really cool idea for the expansion too, get all the newbies and make a league just for them(Have a TPW league and a league for everyone else), so they can battle and start winning prizes and stuff. (This would be introduced to TPW a few months after the expansion to allow the new members time to grow and expand there pokedex)

Another idea was given to me by WebMaster, at the end of a "season", we can get the top 3 players from each month and let them participate in a tournament to compete for a grand prize.

i like the idea. I think alot of people would battle quite a bit again with it, as it would be weekly. JW though, would there be matchups for weeks, or would we just abttle eachother as we pleased?

If you're referring to the Exhibition system or the Duel Peninsula, then you're a bit off. Its quite a bit different than both of those.

I like this idea especially since it's kinda like a league. I would enter.

How bout after a certain time we can take all of the top players (top could mean top half, top quarter, or anything) and put them in a tournament for a large prize? Better ranks mean better seeds. I know this might be kinda pushing it so I'm still down with getting this league started

It's similar to a ladder, but match-ups are pre-made. I like that aspect of it. Also I think it's great for the newbies on TPW. It's not a Dojo League, which I think might be too vast, but it's still a structured thing that will give them experience. gg LS

Yeah, seems like a swell idea. Hell, I might even battle.

I also like this idea! I try to encourage people to battle but no one listens to me :(
