Pokemon Mission Planning Staff

So to move this project forward, we're going to need dedicated members to help this project along. There are multiple aspects of the system that need to be created, organized, and finalized before release.

Additionally, as was the case with the Park, members who help plan the system are either rewarded or earn staff positions when the section is opened.

We are looking for dedicated members who are interested in helping out and willing to contribute their time and effort to move this project forward.

Ideas for Pokemon Missions:
Team Rocket assaults the National Park island, and it's up to your band of heroes to prevent them.

Scyther and Houndoom are ranging out from their normal haunts and attacking citizens on the outskirts of Violet City, it's up to you to find why and to put a stop to the strange activity that started in the middle of the forest.

Silph/Devon/etc. Co is under a forceful armed takeover to be subverted to Team Galactic's plots; can you rescue the (mostly) innocent workers, forge bonds with your allies, and stand steadfast even through internal treachery?

RP Experience: not much but i like to write and ive read alot of other peoples roleplays.
URPG Experience: Im active in the urpg on both the forums and on aim, I am also the dojo sensei of the bug dojo and have fought many people in battles, and also have written a succesfull story on the forums.
Ideas for Pokemon Missions: I have a few ideas already, things such as making small image maps for the person to work off to know the surroundings, also many ideas for missions

Beginer missions.

A Team Rocket member has started taking hostages in the local pokecenter, with everyone unnable to heal their pokemon their must turn to the pokemart to get items to be able to heal their pokemon. Unfortunatly they are unnable to gain entry into the building as the team Rocket grunt's partner has also taken over the pokemart. you must first take on the pokecenter and then move onto the pokemart or start with pokemart and go onto pokecenter. Between each trainer battle you can heal eaither using the pokecenter or use the pokemart. the pokecenter is free whereas you must pay to gain potions from the pokemart. The question is, do you folow the path of the center or the mart. Furthermore the Rocket Grunt in the pokecenter has the pokemon Ekans and Sandshrew and the pokemart Rocket Grunt has the pokemon Ratticate and Weezing.

This mission is perfect i think for beginers mainly by allowing them to heal halfway through and by showing them how it is going to work, I think this mission would be good by also making it a one or two person mission only by not making it to complicated as a beginner. Would be better as a single only mission.

Slightly more experienced / for beginers in teams
A growlithe has been captured by a team rocket grunt and is now going on a rampage through the viridian forest burning down tree's and pokemon alike. once the team or person has caught up with the rocket grunt they must battle. If a team of people going through mission then the Rocket grunt is joined by another grunt who has a electrike with him. You then proceed to have a double battle. To make things more difficult before you get to the rocket grunt you must battle multiple pokemon who are common to forests, ie bugs, and grass mons. Each trainer is also only allowed 2 pokemon that are chosen before the mission. Trainers are also allowed to buy items to help them through the map, these items would be things that you can buy from the same shop, as the national park ie potions. The reward at the end of the mission would be money or coupons to buy more items for the shop, and an invitation to another mission involving team rocket. All pokemon encounters before the rocket fight are rolled by dice, the dice would be out of 9 the 9 are: caterpie, metapod, wurmple, cricketot, weedle, kakuna, Seedot, Oddish, Lotad. If only 1 person then only 1-2 encounters before the rocket grunt, determined by roll. If 2 trainers then 3-4 encounters determined by roll, can also have a double battle, determined by roll out of 3, 1-2 is single battle, 3 is double, then for double battles each mon is rolled individually from the set of 9 mons.

Well glad i got that one all down onto the internet. I hope that the double battle idea could be used in other missions. I do have another idea of a mission that could attach onto this if you dont think it is long enough but i think it deserves its own mission, ie the mission that you are invited to do after completion of this one.

I hope it can be used.

Ideas for Pokemon Missions:

Expansion of Evan's idea: Team Rocket assaults the island with Shadow Pokemon. Rangers (or Trainers) have to capture and purify the Shadow Pokemon.

Name: James Gray (ChainReaction01 almost everywhere)
RP Experience: Been playing video game RPGs for 10 years, helped make two small ones, tabletops for 4 years (one and a half as DM, and multiple different games), online roleplay for 7 years(ish) on multiple different internet sites, organised two small-scale ARGs.
URPG Experience: Signed up on the first the day URPG opened on BMG. Fairly successful Ranger, with 6 ongoing runs (one of which is the first ever Team Run) and 2 completed runs as a Ranger. Completed one run as a Trainer and am going through a second run currently (which is the second ever Team Run). Occasionally challenge Dojos/Gyms but aren't very good (although I do know my way around the damage calc). Self-styled Pokemon collector but I've only got about 25-30 caught so far. Five successful stories, four of which are a part of my on-going Jathan Einherjar series.
Ideas for Pokemon Missions:

Beginner: Something strange is going on in Ilex Forest. Pokemon are appearing that don't belong and no one can find the Ilex Forest Shrine anywhere. It's up to you and your group to find out what exactly is going on.

Beginner: There's a group of Poochyena laying siege to Littleroot Town being led by a golden Mightyena. You and your group will have to fight or sneak your way through to the town, and then drive off the invading Pokemon by any means necessary.

Advanced: Team Rocket is invading Celadon City. The Pokemon Champion was recently seen in the area, but he appears to have been captured by the invaders. You and your allies will have to put aside your differences and find Team Rocket's hiding place and rescue the Champion.

I have others, but I can't detail them here due to the fact that I should be working...

URPG Experience: Been here since the BMG switch over. Current Steel Dojo Leader. Would have a job, but I am slowly fixing my errors.

RP experience: Literally growing up with D&D and similar systems. I'm very good at ad libing scenarios on the fly. I even have access to an insta-dungeon program!
UPRG experience: Little, as I joined around May and have no access to AIM, although I know how (almost) all of it works.
Ideas: Standard Dungeon Crawls to search for rumored treasures/hostages and such. Can be formatted for any/all skill levels. Maybe even searching for Legendary Pokemon and eventually finding them in their respective areas (Celebi in Ilex Forest, etc).
Giritina has been launching ambushes from the Distortion World! You must leap through one of the rifts in Space and stop him before he attacks his next target... Hearthome City.

RP Experience: I spent the majority of my first year on BMGf roleplaying and reading such. I've played/read about a small amount of DnD, and I guess I could consider myself good at it, albeit there's not much actual experience with it.
URPG Experience: Not a huge amount. I understand Battling, and I'm getting better at the National Park system.
Ideas for Pokemon Missions:

Ideas for Pokemon Missions: I have a huge list of ideas and plans. Ill put just a couple out there though.

Mr.Pokemon has been kidnapped and is being held captive in Dark Cave by a few Rocket henchmen. Its up to you to find your way through the twists and turns of the cave without upsetting the Zubat migration. To rescue the poor man.

A wild fire has broke out in Viridian Forest, not only are people trapped inside the forest, But the fire has spread to Viridian itself. Will you be able to save the town and the nearby enviroment? Or can you only handle one or the
other?

The Key To Rotom (medium-level)
The Eterna Chateau was broken into and vandalised in the middle of the night. A key was taken from the balcony upstairs. The wild Rotom have started to cause havoc at the loss of their Secret Key. The place was deemed unsafe until the spirits left the Chateau. They warned of dismay and a world of terror unless the key is retrieved soon. Clues have been found, but have they been plnted? We need your help, brave explorer.

Who's the REAL Slowpoke?(medium level)
The Slowpoke have started to dissappear from Slowpoke Well near Azalea Town. The residents are stumped as to what is happening. Some reckon they are fleeing from poachers as the price of their tails have risen dramitacally, whereas others reckon it's something to do with the suspicious-looking people that have flocked to the nearby towns. Your mission is to work undercover in the Slowpoke Well and find out where they are going.

Darkrai has been corrupting Legendary Pokemon's hearts! Team up with the small legendaries (Lake trio, Shaymin, Mew, Phione, Manaphy) to defeat the Dark Legendaries (all of these are the bigger, tougher ones) and their boss, Darkrai!
(I actually tried to start a RP on one of my sites like this before, but that site epicly failed.)
EDIT: This is actually kind of like one of the other ideas presented. I didn't get the idea from that, though.

You and several others are being chased by a slow-moving enemy, the 'Alpha Zombie'. As the AZ KOs members of your group, the fainted Pokemon join the AZ in its goal to KO everyone that isn't a zombie. However, there is a safe haven at the end of the long halls of obstacles, if you can get there.

Psychic Frenzy:
Several Psychic Pokemon have started to hypnotize other wild Pokemon into doing their bidding, most often fighting to the death for their amusement. Defeat the evil-doing Pokemon and free the hypnotized Pokemon!
