Change your starter event?

I'm sure this will get veto'd but I wonder, how many of us wish we had chosen a different starter but don't want to restart the URPG?

Perhaps if we had a one week event where you can change your starter. That is, you lose your current starter and any EM's completely, no refunds for money spent on it, and then you get a brand new starter legal pokemon in return.

EG, if I chose chimchar, I could trade my fully TM'd infernape for a brand spanking new Horsea with no TM's.

 

Nah, I don't like if we do this there will be alot of starmies, kingdras. alakazams and gengars floating about....

 

So I can trade my Houndoom with 1EM for a Scyther? ;|

I started with the Simple Lotad, and have no major gripes.

 

I started with a Poochyena last time around, and a Sewaddle this time round. I don't really care about what my starter is, as long as it's one of my total bro Pokemon.

 

My starter is Charizard, and I love it

But that aside, I really don't see any need to get rid of any Pokemon. I have heaps of Pokemon I never use, but it doesn't do any harm to have them there (except maybe D/P Roar). Can't help but think that a lot of people would simply see this as "Get good Pokemon for no effort" event, by simply ditching a bad starter. Don't know why you wouldn't want Alakazam though
