Okay so this was a disaster. I didn't really want to post it but I am as an example of what can go wrong.

Anne departs for Unova, on the other side of the sea. You are all up on the boat’s deck, amidst the many revelers. Some are swimming, some are sunbathing, some are getting wasted at the bar and a few are even battling their Pokemon.

ChainReaction01 (11:19:22 AM): The guy is too wasted to realise what you're doing, so he falls down onto the ground and you successfully clean your shoes. You're then distracted by some woman who dashes past you. Her Salamence's wing nearly sends you flying.

In fact, the boat looks like it’s picking up speed. Perhaps there’s been a mistake, but there’s a nagging feeling that something is wrong. What do you want to do?

thedinobot (11:26:13 AM): "Is it just me or does it feel like we're going faster?" Rex asked Shadow. Shadow was also slightly buzzed, he just shrugged and followed Rex to the side of the boat. Rex noticed that they should have been able to see land by now. He made his way over to the nearest ship worker to ask questions.
K Hosmer (11:26:14 AM): "That isn't normal.. is it?" To be sure, she calls out her Gardevoir to do a quick scan of the area.
ChainReaction01 (11:26:59 AM): Gardevoir can't sense anything unusual, but there seems to be a lack of people in the below-decks maintenance department.
ChainReaction01 (11:27:21 AM): The ship worker looks up at Rex. "Can I help you, sir?"
thedinobot (11:28:20 AM): "Uh, yea. How much longer until we dock?" He asked. "Shouldn't we have arrived somewhere by now?"
ChainReaction01 (11:29:00 AM): The worker looks at a shiny silver watch on his wrist. "Hmm, we're due back in port in an hour or so, sir. Relax and enjoy the party!"
ChainReaction01 (11:29:38 AM): (You can go wherever you want on the ship btw)
K Hosmer (11:30:23 AM): I'm no sailor, but there should at least be someone on the lower levels, Aria, Makina relayed to her Gardevoir, then sent out her Banette instead to take a look around.
thedinobot (11:31:19 AM): "Alright, I guess." Rex shrugged. He figured he was just overthinking things. "Let's head to the top level of the ship and see what we can find."
ChainReaction01 (11:33:31 AM): Rex heads towards the elevators, intending to go up to the highest level, where the bridge is. However, when he gets to them, a couple of burly security guards step into his way. "Sir, you're not allowed to use the elevators right now," he says in a deep voice. "Please return to the party."
ChainReaction01 (11:34:15 AM): (what are you wanting your banette to do, akinai?)
K Hosmer (11:35:04 AM): "Pierrot, get back here," Makina muttered to her Banette, seeing it head towards some nearby Trainers. "Head down to the lowest level and report back if you see anything strange."
thedinobot (11:35:18 AM): Rex cursed under his breath and exited the elevator. Once he was a good distance from the security guard, he whispered to Shadow "Let's go up in a bit. We can try to sneak past them. Should be fun."
ChainReaction01 (11:36:11 AM): Banette phases through the deck, and is not seen for a couple of minutes. When she returns, there is a quizzical look in her eyes. She relays to you through Gardevoir that no one seems to be down there.
K Hosmer (11:38:34 AM): "Something is definitely up here," Makina replied back after hearing the message, shaking her head. "Let's see if we can find a way down, maybe we'll find what's going on."
ChainReaction01 (11:39:08 AM): Makina walks off to the side and finds a ladder at the edge of the ship. She descends it and enters the maintenance department.
ChainReaction01 (11:39:18 AM): Meanwhile, up at the deck
ChainReaction01 (11:39:58 AM): The ding of the elevators rings out as the music is suddenly cut. They all open, revealing a group of twenty men and women dressed in black. They're carrying large sacks and grinning openly. "Everyone, this is a robbery!" one man announces. "I advise you all not to even think of fighting back - there's a bomb next to the motor, and we'll blow it up if you trifle with us. Now, put all your PokeBalls and riches into these bags."
K Hosmer (11:41:10 AM): (was that audible from where i'm at?)

ChainReaction01 (11:45:02 AM): The robber looks at you through narrowed eyes, but doesn't question you. "Just keep your dog under control," he says before moving on. Rex notices out of the corner of his eye that the elevators are now unguarded.
ChainReaction01 (11:45:48 AM): Makina walks throughout the lower levels, dodging jets of steam and climbing over pipes in an attempt to find someone.

thedinobot (11:47:25 AM): "Yes sir." Rex replied, then when the man wasn't near him whispered to Shadow, "Let's head for the elevator. Procede slowly. If they see us then run."

ChainReaction01 (11:49:01 AM): Rex manages to make it to the elevator without being seen. The doors close, shielding him from sight. Most of the lights are dark, but there are four glowing: Maintenance, Lower Decks, Party Deck, Bridge.
thedinobot (11:50:45 AM): "Damn, that was too close. What the hell is going on here?" He said to Shadow as more of a statement than a question. "Shet, if there is a bomb here then we need to disarm it. The most logical place for it to be is on the lowest floor." He said, pressing the Maintenance button
K Hosmer (11:50:50 AM): Makina tries to drag the drugged worker to a safer spot, now more on edge realizing that someone else was down here drugging people. Aria, tell me immediately if you sense anyone else, she warned the Gardevoir.
thedinobot (11:51:35 AM): As the elevator moved down, Rex motioned for Shadow to go on the opposite corner so that they wouldn't be seen when the door opens.
ChainReaction01 (11:51:55 AM): The elevator descends swiftly, and inside of a couple seconds, it dings and opens. At that exact second, Aria warns Makina that someone is inside the elevator, which is only a few metres down the hall from where she is currently.
thedinobot (11:53:11 AM): The elevator door opens and Rex and Shadow wait quietly to see if anyone comes in so that he and Shadow can ambush them.
K Hosmer (11:54:13 AM): Hearing Aria's warning, Makina immediately searches for a cubby she can hide in. Motioning for her Banette to phase out of sight, she recalls Aria and waits.
thedinobot (11:54:36 AM): Time appeared to be going by so slow and Rex's heart was racing. Not because he was scared, but because this was somewhat exciting to him. If felt like being in a movie. Once he sees that no one is entering, he slowly exits the elevator.

thedinobot (11:55:59 AM): "Good, there appears to be no bad guys here. Still, we should proceed catiously. Do you smell anything here?" Rex asked Shadow.
ChainReaction01 (11:56:23 AM): Shadow sniffs the air and starts growling at a shadowy recess in the wall.

thedinobot (11:59:24 AM): "Dang, I had a feeling we weren't alone. What the hell is going on here." He repeated. Not even a second later, a ghostly figure appeared in front of Shadow. Rex quickly identified it as a Banette. "Don't let your guard down, Shadow." Rex said, eyeing the Ghost Pokemon suspisiously. "It has to be one of those goons Pokemon. Wait for it to move then attack it with Crunch."
K Hosmer (11:59:39 AM): Makina, hearing a nearby growl, stays frozen in place. As the growl grows closer, she sees Pierrot materialize in front of the nearby Houndoom.
K Hosmer (11:59:45 AM): "You have about five seconds to get out of here," Makina warns, trying to sound confident.
K Hosmer (12:00:03 PM): (stepping out as well, forgot to add)
ChainReaction01 (12:00:22 PM): Akinai steps out into the semi-light. It's pretty obvious she's not one of the robbers.
thedinobot (12:01:47 PM): A woman in her early twenties steps out from the location that Shadow pointed out. She gave him a warning to leave. Rex then knew that she couldn't be one of those creeps from above, otherwise she would have attacked him already. "Wait, I am not one of them. You escaped too?" Rex asked.
K Hosmer (12:02:53 PM): "What do you mean escaped? I found out that the crew was missing so I came down here to investigate," Makina replied, pointing over to the nearby drugged man.

ChainReaction01 (12:04:59 PM): A man dressed in black turns around one of the corners and sees you. “Hey you!” he calls out before throwing a pair of PokeBalls towards you. They burst open to reveal a Magnezone and a Quagsire.

ChainReaction01 (12:12:08 PM): The poisonous gas hides your escape as you flee down the hallway. However, it's a dead end. There are three doors: the left one is marked "Motor Room", the middle one "Outer Access", and the right one "Maintenance Stairway".
thedinobot (12:13:16 PM): "Quick, we need to get into the Motor room. There is a bomb inside." Rex said to the woman besides him. "Be prepared though, I doubt they left it ungaurded."
K Hosmer (12:14:57 PM): "A what?" Makina replied, looking at the man as if he had lost it. "My Banette didn't see anyone in this area, so it should be pretty safe for the moment." Still, she readied her Gardevoir's Pokeball just in case,

ChainReaction01 (12:15:56 PM): You both enter the room, and sure enough, there's a big, stereotypically bomb-ish container right next to the huge boat motor. There's also a pair of Pokemon guarding it, a Swampert and a Shelgon. They both look at you and growl.

K Hosmer (12:17:58 PM): "How cliche can you get?" Makina says, pointing over at the bomb. Seeing the nearby Pokemon though, she immediately focuses on them instead. "Aria, go with Magical Leaf on that Swampert!"

thedinobot (12:20:50 PM): "Damnit!" Rex muttered. "I knew there'd be something here. Nothing is ever easy. Oh well, more fun this way."

"You, uh, woman lady, take that Swampert, Shadow can take the Shelgon." I said to her. Now that she saw the bomb, she knew I was telling the truth. "Shadow, use Will-o-Wisp" Shadow growled angrily at the two Pokemon guarding the bomb. He opened his mouth and bared his sharp teeth. In the middle of his mouth formed a white ball of fire. I could feel the warmth off of it, it was indeed extremely hot. Had to be for it to burn the Shelgon.
ChainReaction01 (12:22:44 PM): The WilloWisp burns the Shelgon, and Aria sends a flurry of leaves towards the Swampert. The Swampert roars and retaliates by crushing the Gardevoir with a devastating shoulder-ram attack. The Shelgon gets in on the act too, headbutting Aria in her side.

thedinobot (12:25:19 PM): "Coward Pokemon." Rex roared our angrily as both Pokemon attacked the woman's Gardevoir. "Shadow use your Hidden Power on that Shelgon. We already crippled that weak Pokemon's attack, not much else that thing can do."
ChainReaction01 (12:25:56 PM): Ice surrounds the dog before blasting into the Shelgon, knocking it away from Aria.
K Hosmer (12:26:52 PM): (frigging character limits >.<)
K Hosmer (12:27:03 PM): "Woman lady?" Makina mouthed, looking over at the Trainer a moment.
K Hosmer (12:27:07 PM): Her moment of inattention cost her though as both the Shelgon and Swampert ganged up on Aria. "Ever heard of a fair fight? Aria, finish that Swampert off with a Psychic!"
ChainReaction01 (12:28:09 PM): The Psychic attack blasts Swampert into a wall, knocking it clean out. The Shelgon growls and turns around, running towards Houndoom and biting him viciously.

thedinobot (12:30:06 PM): "Knock that ball of shit off of you, Shadow." Rex said. "use Flamethrower!" Rex then turned to the lady, "Care to double team this Pokemon to give it a taste of its own medicine?"
K Hosmer (12:31:29 PM): "Gladly." Makina grinned back, then looked over at the Shelgon. "Go with a Focus Blast!"
ChainReaction01 (12:32:37 PM): The combination of fire and fighting energy finishes off the Shelgon, knocking it next to the Swampert.
ChainReaction01 (12:33:02 PM): A sudden beeping fills the room, and it appears to be coming from the bomb.
thedinobot (12:34:14 PM): "Oh damn?!? Does that mean it's about to explode?" Rex asked the lady. He wasn't sure if she knew about bombs, but he sure as hell hoped she did, otherwise he had no idea how they were going to deactivate it.
K Hosmer (12:35:15 PM): "Please say you have a newfound knowledge of bomb defusing," Makina remarks airily, looking nervously over at the bomb. The only thing she could think of was short-circuiting it, but that could cause it to explode early.
ChainReaction01 (12:35:54 PM): You notice the bomb has three large buttons on it: a red one, a yellow one, and a green one. The countdown timer reads 1:38.
K Hosmer (12:37:15 PM): Makina takes a look over at the buttons, drawing a complete blank. "It's always the green wire in the movies, so green?"
thedinobot (12:38:59 PM): "Yeah, I only know what I've seen in movies. We know how fake those are." Rex said. Then the woman said that green wires were what movies always went with. "I have no idea, I thought it was always the red wire." Rex said, that excitment feeling had come back to him
thedinobot (12:39:54 PM): "We don't have a lot of time." Rex said, trying to remain calm. "Should we flip? That is basically what we're doing anyways since neither of us knows which is the correct button."
K Hosmer (12:40:55 PM): "If I say it's green, and you say it's red, then it is obviously yellow," Makina said, trying to sound confident. "Shall we?"

thedinobot (12:42:32 PM): Rex looked down at the counter on the bomb. It was now reading 21 seconds. "What the hell? We die if we don't click anything." Rex shrugged, pressing the yellow button.
