Staff Update - April 2016

Greetings Everyone,

I wanted to go ahead and provide a staff update. The following URPG leaders are demoted to members:


We Taste Pies...

WTP has been a URPG leader for a very long time, perhaps longer than most of you have been around. To me, of course, he'll always be a younger URPGer, though experienced nonetheless. WTP has seen this community change since the Pe2K days. He knows the challenges we faced in our past and I think that helped him work towards ensuring a bright future. He was one of the more responsible and capable members. May his wisdom guide him wherever he is.


ChainReaction01

Chain was one of the first (maybe the first?) BMG member to become a URPG official. He demonstrated strong qualities right out of the gate and we knew that this man was going to go places. Though he may not be here now, I'm certain that he's finding success in his current endeavors.


Nitro

Nitro always said it like it was and I have always valued that honesty. I firmly believe that Nitro helped us see issues from different angles and provided good insight into the community. Nitro, if you're out there, never be afraid to speak the truth. It has served you well.


Princess Crow

I've encountered many wonderful writers in my time here and Hannah is certainly one of them. Talented beyond belief and a capable leader, she truly led us after the departure of Emma and George. I hope she is well and will miss her.


Sou Cleife

Sou hasn't been an Official for a long period of time, but her affect on the URPG as a whole has been noted. She is a vibrant part of our community and I hope that, should she become more free, she'll become active again.

(This actually isn't an April Fool's joke for those wondering)
I guess I'm finally at the point in my URPG career when I get to feel at least a little old because I know who all of these people are and they are all such wonderful people and I will miss all of them ;-; WTP gave me my ref test when I was just a wee nublet. Chainy reffed most of my earliest battles. Nitro FD and I used to be up late making jokes and talking about how funny it was that Ash didn't know who Nikki Minaj was. Banana and I have shared some nice conversations and she was the person who I reached out to about the StArt Mart which effectively became writing/Art for cash which is implemented now. Sou has always been nice and easygoing. Good luck to all of you in the future!

@HKim Of all the things you could've said, this was the realest. I'm genuinely touched.

 

The irony that I should actually come and take a look at this a mere month after I was removed from staff. How long have I even been gone?

 

Like two years about, I think.
