Promotions!

Greetings, friends. It's been a while, and that is the exact nature of this announcement.

Lately, my life has increased its tempo, making me much busier than I've really ever been. (Mostly with work, as I'm actually out of town for training right now.) Once I moved, I've had a lot of other extra responsibilities too, and that makes it so I no longer have time to dedicate to URPG full-time. That wouldn't be fair. So far it's been off and on, but a more constant presence is needed.

It is at this time that I will be formally stepping down as both staff and as head of Art and Park.

After seven years, it breaks my heart a little to do it, to know that I can't carve out time for URPG like I used to, but never fear! We have some great minds taking over, with Harry's blessing.

Some have probably been long-awaiting some new faces, ideas, and attitudes. A change of pace is good for everyone once in a while. Nobody likes stagnation.

In Art:

@Sou; will be taking over as head. She's got some great ideas planned for both events and permanent ideas. She's involved in the section, has studied the medium, and really stepped up to spearhead the recent backlog and to organize curators and what needs to be done. She's an incredibly valuable person, and her critiques are great. I am confident she'll do fantastic things.

In Park:

Instead of just one, we're getting two extremely capable people in the form of co-heads. This section can be a little overwhelming with how much there is to keep track of, but together I know that these two can do it.

@Mistral; has put in years of hard work already. She's been an elite ranger for quite a while and did a great job. And to help with the pressure, @K'sariya; will be joining her. She leapt into the section with an energy that I hope inspires others.

They both have some good ideas and changes that will improve the game as a whole, and I'm excited to see where they take the section.

I've seen a lot of people come and go over the years. I want to thank each of the people who have come through these sections and contributed something. All of the input, energy, and hard work have made sure the areas have endured and been a fun, creative space for people to practice the craft.

My only hope is that this continues in the years to come. Having a creative outlet like this, for ideas and skills to be explored, is one of the most valuable things I've found.

It was a good ride. Let's keep going!
