Park Promotions

Hello everyone. Things have been remarkably quiet in the Park recently, but I am here now to inform you that it has only been the quiet before the storm. Things in the Park are about to heat up, especially with the release of Generation VI (when it happens, which it will do so alongside the rest of the URPG). There's going to be some exciting new additions and a Generation VI release event, both which I'm not going to go into. What I -do- want to talk about are a few changes to the National Park's leadership team.

Firstly, I would like to thank Dog of Hellsing for her numerous contributions to the National Park. She's been involved pretty much from the beginning and has spearheaded many of the additions to the Park, from the very initial event runs all the way to her controversial creation of the Enigma Ruins. Unfortunately she has been inactive over the past few months, and so that new talent might shine she is being retired from her position as co-Park Head. I hope that she can drop in any time from now and see that what she helped to create has continued to grow strong.

Next, I'd like to congratulate Akinai on becoming our newest Elite Ranger. She has always been a fantastic roleplayer and her post quality has always been second to none right from the word go, as both a Ranger and a Trainer. She has all the qualities that we look for and so we'd like to welcome her into the fold. This of course means that you can bug her with your Ranger Quizzes and when she tells you to shut up, you had best heed her!

Last, but certainly not least, I'd like to introduce WinterVines as the new co-Park Head. She is universally respected amongst the URPG and a real up-and-coming Staff star. Her devotion and activity are quite literally unbelievable and she's been keeping an eye on the Park almost as long as me, except she's been doing it without being in charge. Well, her hard work has paid off and she finally has the position she deserves. Not only will she have to deal with people whining about the Gen VI Pokemon being in the wrong place, she'll have to fight me when I try to drop way too many event items for no good reason!

I hope everyone will join me in wishing these three ladies their best. They are all an integral part of the continuing story of the National Park, whether it be past, present or future.

Also I'm not going around editing all the stuff that needs to be edited. That's your first job as Head, Winter. SUCKED IN AHAHA

So wait... if you're giving Winter the sole job of editing, that means- *is suddenly bombarded by a wave of submitted Ranger Quiz forms*

It is always nice to see people participating in the Park, whether they are completely new or have been around the block a few years. You don't even have to be a Ranger; most of us are avid writers and/or roleplayers, and we love to make new scenarios and assist people in achieving a unique experience while they attempt to catch their prized Pokemon. As Chainy mentioned, things are about to get a little more interesting (and they will be well worth it, I promise you.) Check our area out some time, and as always if you have any questions feel free to ask myself or any of the other Elites.

Congrats to Winter and I hope Jess will check out the Park sometime when work is not so hectic.
