Although I am not a ref again yet, since my return I have had a few battles and doing so realized that I miss my old calc. Since I had lost it I had to remake it from scratch, and after some time it was done. And so I though I might post it here in case anyone is interested.

The calculator is made in excel. One of the main features of it is auto results. Basically any notes, HPs of Pokemon, stat changes and everything else you might need is ready to be copied and pasted in the chat. It also has an easy-to-summon and easy-to-discard substitute, clear option and... probably something else I have forgot to mention.

    Here is how it looks:
    Picure of calculator.JPG

If you wish to try it out, here is a small tutorial:
    • Do not forget to enable macros, because otherwise the buttons will not work!
    • To attack the opposing Pokemon, press the big red arrow pointing towards it (to attack the substitute, press the small red arrow).
    • If you wish to change the Pokemon's remaining HP or add or subtract (use negative amount to subtract) something to/from it use the fields next to the buttons "Add HP", "Add %", "=HP", "=%"; After entering the desired amount in HP or %, press the corresponding button to apply.
    • Substitute is summoned by the "+" button next to the substitute section; it is discarded by pressing the "-" button.
    • To change the HP or HP in % of the substitute, type the amount and press the small, blue button.
    • For stat changes use the small, short blue arrows.
    • To switch Pokemon, use the long, blue arrows.
    • The auto stats show the names of the Pokemon, their remaining HP in %, the note cells (all of the lighter cells), stat changes and substitute status (if the remaining HP of the substitute should not be shown, change the 1 in the substitute section to 0).
    • The clear all button deletes any unnecessary information in the calculator and prepares it for the next battle.

To input a Pokemon, do the following:
    • Type "=" and the name of the Pokemon.
      Tutorial 1.JPG
    • Drag the right bottom corner of the cell with the Pokemon's name until the column for the speed stat.
      Tutorial 2.JPG

      Tutorial 3.JPG
    • After that let go of the mouse and press the blue "Full HP" button.

I hope this will be useful to someone; also if you have any ideas about what I should add to it, feel free to tell me.

EDIT: To download the latest version of my calculator, please refer to the attachment in my last post.

    Re: My excel calculator.

I still remember your Excel calc :D I never was very good at using it. It's nice to see a piece of history back.

My only question is - does this use the latest damage formula?
Several tweaks have been made to the web calc, and subsequently my desktop calc, to make it more accurate in the time you've been gone.

    Re: My excel calculator.

Well, at the beginning that was a big problem, because the results sometimes came out a bit different than the ones produced by the other calcs. The problem however seemed to be that the rounding down should be done a bit differently. I also found the thread with the Staraptor and Tyranitar problem and my calc is accurate with Pidge's solution. So therefore it should be accurate and correctly use the damage formula (because as far as I understand the mistakes that have been corrected in the other calcs were not because the damage formula had changed but because there were some minor inconsistencies).

Of course there could be some other bugs in it, but I will correct them, when I find them from time to time.

I however had to make it, because I have never been very good using the online calc (and the desktop one didn't work for me for some reason) :D. Now only to become a ref again...

    Re: My excel calculator.

The damage formula itself didn't change, but the way in which various values we're rounded did change. Math.Floors where there shouldn't be any and none where there should be, that sort of thing.
No idea why the Desktop Calc didn't work for you. What was the error? I'll look into it, since I'll be upgrading them both to Gen VI fairly soon.

And again, good to have you back :D Good luck with your ref re-test.

    Re: My excel calculator.

Although I can clearly see that my calculator isn't of much interest around here (the fact that it has only 3 downloads demonstrates it quite well), I still though that I should share it's update here in case anyone is interested, because the new update not only includes various new stuff, but it also has all x/y Pokemon and Mega-evolutions.
