    Thank you both for picking up so many stories this round ^^ It looks like things are picking up! And you all know by now that it's coming, so woohoo!

    @Magikchicken $24,220 + bonus = $36,330
    • The Beginning of the End (The Agency, Ch. 1) = Moderate, 5,500
    • The Rebirth of Dragonspiral Tower, Basic, 2,600 (+520) = 3,120
    • The Rise of Blood Money, Strong Moderate, 12,000 (+3,600) = 15,600

    An interesting spread of stories and grades here. To be entirely honest, I'm not a fan of re-writing the author's descriptions or quotations (for the last story). I just don't find it personally helpful in our mission of guiding the writer to take what they've done and improve upon it, rather than teaching them our personal preference for writing. In an ideal world, it would be easy to say what's our preference vs. what is objectively good in writing.

    However, I think good questions to ask for future grades, using the quotations of the last story, would be - "what was effective about this quotation style? for what situations might the author have changed it, and how could they have optimized it for the story they were using it in?" For the descriptions, "how does succinct description work effectively in this story?" you did a great job in pointing out the scenes you wanted more description in, which was nice! I personally wouldn't include extensive writing that isn't the author's in the grade, but if you are doing so, ascertain how helpful it would be for the author. Great work overall!

    @Elrond 2.0 $2,200 + bonus = $3,300
    • A Bit of Trouble, Basic, 2,000 (+200) = 2,200

    Smiles $4,600 + bonus = $6,900
    • The Talking Fish, Basic, 2,000 (+200) = 2,200
    • The Search for a Companion, Basic, 2,000 (+400) = 2,400
