Curator Wages: to 12/1

Wages have been increased. Please see the Art Encyclopedia for more details.

Curations are now categorized into different ranks that have a base pay rate. Keep in mind that the wage-distributor has the right to modify these pay brackets according to quality, both up and down.

I've also gone back one wage period and adjusted old wages, so there's a bonus from that too. The values listed is just extra money to add--you don't need to go back and subtract anything.

Happy first wages! I just have some notes that can apply to you and everyone really to keep in mind:

Overall I think your curations are on the right track but could be expanded a little bit--including being specific when you mention some things. For example, when you suggest adding more shading, tell the artist exactly where it should go, since many artists might not know. Or, if you say you have a problem/wish something was a little different, be sure to explain why it's important/why you think so. You have some good ideas and I'd like to see more of them.

Some technical points:

A background should be present for every rank. Try to also avoid saying things like "not needed at this rank" or "not required," since in theory, that is not true. We should be pushing artists into improving, not giving them outs. There's technically no such thing as "this is not required" since it's all about constructive criticism. Also, for Cash entries, keep in mind that we don't get to decide how much money they get--we only decide the rank. Ranks have a pre-determined money allotment. Check the Pedia entry for the values.

The holiday bonus applies to wages earned on 12/1 or after. Since all of these were posted before that, none of the bonus applies to them. All of the wages here are to be added as is.
