    YEAH SO WE HAD AN OOPSIE. This identity-confused Umbreon did 60% of wages, and then our protagonist Scourge was like, OKAY, I'LL FINISH THE REST AND WRITE COMMENTARY. And then Scourge's parents took her on vacation to a magical land where the internet costs sixty-five cents a minute… And then this weird pigeon-looking thing came along and wanted to help out, so it did the wages, unaware that the strange Emma creature and Scourge had already plotted together about certain trends… So she completed wages, and posted them, and Scourge came back and was like OOPS SCOURGE'S BAD. So yeah. Here are wages. It only took like forever.

    Also, you may want to check my math before claiming.

    @Alaskapigeon: $11,400
    The Great Toad-Frog Massacre: Moderate- $7,000 (Borderline, but I liked what you did with the detail section; that was definitely moderate level advice. And some of the other stuff was definitely on the higher side. So, Emma and I say bumpy.) -Scourge
    The Caterpie Who Was a Badass: Basic- $2,000
    The Agent: Training Program: Basic- $2,400

    @AmericanTreeFrog: $33,500
    The End: Moderate- $9,000
    Rainbow Factory: Moderate- $9,000 Excellent!
    The Warrior's Story: Moderate- $5,500 (This is a solid grade. It looks like it helped the writer out a lot. However, when you get a newer writer, definitely try to make the grade smaller and more concise. Focus on a few really really big things.) -Scourge
    A Shocking Day: Moderate- $4,500 (Waaaaaay overkill. This is a newbie and a failed capture. That's fine. BUT. Your grade is not the least bit encouraging. You gave a lot of "this is what's wrong," but not a lot of simple, helpful "this is how you could change it" except in the grammar section. There was NO "you did this great!" and "here's how you can take your strength here to patch up a weakness over here!" which is probably the most crucial part the grade. Especially for a new writer. Also, because of your conclusion paragraph, it looks like you failed the capture entirely because of grammar. You didn't, but that's what it looks like. This grade should have about half the complexity and six times the encouragement. GRR.) -Scourge [/she says in a completely discouraging, overly complex paragraph]
    A Fishing Competition: Moderate- $5,500 (You were quite a bit more positive here. However, it's still too complex and discouraging. Even its size alone makes it daunting for a newer writer.)

    Overall really solid grades. Just need to be cautious with the younger members. Good work in general.-Alaska
    Pretty much. You have great grades for higher-level writers. But they're like, the most terrifying possible thing you could give to the average newbie. Some find that level of criticism really helpful; most just get discouraged. Err on the side of caution. -Scourge

    @Buoy: $15,500
    The Prankster of Pinwheel Forest: Moderate- $9,000
    Garswoop: Moderate- $6,500

    I like your grades, and don't usually have much to say. The first grade was kinda borderline Basic, but I put you at Moderate 'cause it was a pretty solid story and I'm not sure you could do much more without going Complex. One thing is, you're pretty great at balancing the pros/cons and making the grade seem positive. However, you could do even a bit more of the "this was awesome! Here's how you can carry that awesome into the rusty patches!"

    @ChainReaction01: $2,000
    Why I Hate SOPA: Basic- $2,000

    @EmBreon: DO UR OWN MATH <3
    URPG Musical: Moderate- $21,000
    Darkness Falls: Basic- $3,400
    Soul Wars: Moderate- $8,000
    Imagine That: Complex- $115,000
    The Thing With Red Eyes: Basic- $2,000
    Pokemon Blaze Black: Basic- $2,000

    O_O Emma, you're my hero. -Alaska

    @FrozenChaos: $21,100
    Kerosene: Moderate- $5,500 ('cause you're new :D) -Scourge
    Darkness Approaches: Basic- $2,800
    A Fishing Sport: Basic- $2,000
    Mt. Peace: The Rising: Moderate- $2,200 (Watch out with how many grammatical errors you point out. It's better to focus on a few frequent, annoying ones, or to pick a general category of error. If you list 'em all out like this, most writers won't read or care. Focus your energy on the story meats!) -Scourge/Emma
    Chemo Caterpie: Basic- $2,000 (This is technically Weak level, but since it's for a Caterpie, that's actually appropriate. This means you get Basic pay. :p) -Scourge/Emma
    Gimme Gimme Doesn't Get: Basic- $2,200 (This is sketchy…)
    Revelations: Basic- $2,400
    Miles to Go: Basic- $2,000

    Hiya. If you saw Alaska's original wages, ignore them. XD You didn't actually have more than the one weak grade. I'm really happy with your grades (and I think Emma is too :). You definitely have good grader instincts. To write consistently better grades: make sure to give those concrete examples, chill out a bit on the grammar, and focus on finding which general tips will help that specific writer. Generally "more feedback" isn't our goal so much as "useful feedback," but don't feel afraid to dig down into the story a little more. -Scourge

    @Kai-Mei: $5,000
    Life of a Magikarp: Moderate- $5,000 (Careful not to overdo it on shorter stories. Gman's been around the block, but just in general you don't have to provide so much feedback on Easiest stories, unless the author asks for it. *ruffles hair*)

    Just in case you ever come back :< -Alaska

    @Phantom Kat: $17,500
    Autumn: Moderate- $5,500
    The White Eyed Creature: Moderate- $6,000
    A Glittering Approval: Moderate- $6,000

    @WebMaster:
    Photograph: Basic- $2,200 You totally had a great Moderate grade going there, and then you kinda petered out once you got past plot. The plot section was really really good; your detail section was helpful, but kinda general.
    Obligation: Chapter 1: Moderate- $6,000 (Think I told you about this, but be more lenient in general about how often a Pokemon appears. Having a Pokemon mentioned once in a story would be bad, but as a minor character is fine. Other than that you have pretty good feedback. :D) -Alaska
    Story of Seth Kramer: Basic- $2,200
    On the Origin of Pokemon: Basic- $2000 (GRR. Besides being a not-very-specific grade, you failed the writer, then gave them no idea of what you're looking for. The writer asks, "What can I do?" This is your "verdict" answer: "Get more stuff on Tentacool and then PM/VM/IM me for a regrade." That's not helpful at all. You define "involvement" vaguely in the grade itself, and you don't offer much feedback about the quality of the story (except about the journal stuff). You just say, "Tantacool's not here enough." Where is Tentacool's presence well-written? Where does it fade out of relevance? Why is it important that Tentacool be involved? I'm not asking you to attack it with verbose explanations, 'r anything, but you definitely have to give the writer a better sense of how they did.) -Scourge

    @Fossil Fusion: $6,000
    Shadow Wars: Chapter 1: Moderate- $6,000

    Overall, you guys are doing really well, and you're keeping the backlog waaaaaaaay down. :D Keep up the good work, guys! ^_^ -Alaska

    HI GUYS. I LIKED WHAT I SAW THESE LAST TWO MONTHS. THERE WAS A BIT OF STUFF I YELLED ABOUT, BUT I'M MOSTLY HAPPY. SO FEEL PROUD, GUYS.

    Claiming. Thanks, Scourge. Also, yeah, I sorta threw together the grade for the Prankster of Pinwheel Forest 'cause I'd had it claimed for ages and needed it out of the way.
