Final Changes to the Basics System

As many of you know, there has been much deliberation on how to fix the current system of basics. here have been many suggestions, but Staff has evaluated them all and come to a consensus on what the new system will be. As a result of these changes, a few Pokemon also had to have their evolution methods altered a bit.

• Rare Candies can be purchased at the Mart and will be 1K each. 7 to evolve a single-evolution Pokemon, 5 for a Pokemon that evolves twice. Standard item and other method requirements apply.
• Evolution Runs will be introduces to the Park so you can go on a short journey with your Pokemon to have it evolve. Further details on this will be given in a post within the Park itself.
• You may still have regular battles to evolve your Pokemon, but they must be at least 2v2 to count or pay.
• Contests now apply to evolution requirement.

As for the new evolution methods they are as follows:

* Caterpie now evolves into Steelix when traded with the Metal Coat
* Luvdisc now evolves into Alomommomomomomomoalaolaoloal
* Sunkern now evolves into Arceus if you breed it with missingno on a day that ends in 'J' while holding a husnain
* Slakoth now evolves into Reshiram when given a banana.
* dylanpiera now evolves into a temporary referee
* The supposed "New basics system" now evolves into a joke thread; get rekt.

 

This sounds like a perfectly reasonable change to our system. I look forward to the other changes we need to get back to our glory days.

I'm a firm believer in revamping how much battles pay. It would encourage more battles and hopefully give some more work to our new temporary ref Dylan!
