2012 Summer Festival Banner Contest

Welcome to the 2012 Banner Contest! Basically, URPG is looking, like, so totally drab, and we all feel like it could use some sexying up. That's where YOU, the artist, come in! The staff has compiled a list of threads and posts that need new banners at the top to give the page some color, and instead of assigning someone to do it, we felt like adding a competitive edge to it. This is your chance to show off your artistic chops to everyone in URPG!

First off, the contest will be split into 5 "mini-contests". Each one of our sections (General and the main URPG page, Battles, Stories, National Park, Contests) will have its own overall winner that we feel was the best out of every submission. Each thread will also have its own winner, with a slightly smaller prize. You are allowed to submit entries to as many threads as you want, so I encourage you to make a bunch.

bannerfans.com - another free banner making site.
Other good programs you might have are Photoshop, Paint, and Gimp.


Rules
-You must be a member of URPG to compete.
-You have one month to complete your banners and submit them.
-Entries should be posted in this thread.
-Your banners should be related to the post or thread that you're entering it into, so don't put contest stuff on a battling banner, etc.
-Make sure it's a usable size. See the examples for a good idea on how big to make them.
-If you submit multiple banners, please try to put all of them in one post. It's fine if you're inspired later and make a later submission.
-Submissions closed August 15th, get crackin'.
-*Note*- Not all of them have to have pictures. For some threads, a nice background and the title of the thread would suffice.
