Randoms Tourney Round 1​

Hooray, round 1 of the tourney!!! There are some ground rules we'll be following for this tourney.

• You cannot change your lists until the end of the week, regardless of when you win your match. I'll announce when that period begins.
• Battle pay is whatever the usual is for your matches; you will receive a $500 bonus for completing a full battle, from start to finish, on IRC.
•→ Refs, please log battles in this thread. Your pay will be distributed at the end of the tourney.
• Each round of battles will last one week. This week ends at 11:59pm EST on May 30th, 2015. Please do not wait until the end of the week to tell me of any issues. You're welcome to leave me a message on AIM, Skype, or any of the three forums, especially if I'm not online at the time. I expect you all to be responsible enough to contact your battlers and arrange a date/time within the week. If there's issues, talk to me immediately. I'm going to be a hard ass about this week limit, and I'll be mentioning people late Wednesday or at some point Thursday who have yet to complete their battles. Battles that do not finish by the 30th will be judged based on where they are in the battle; if an appropriate judgment cannot be made, the more active player will be advanced. In cases where a battle doesn't start at all, the more active player will be advanced. If there are several incomplete battles by Saturday afternoon/evening, I'll extend the week unless those battles are in progress.

Special Rule: Modified randoms! The ref will roll a team of 4-6 Pokemon, depending on the selected battle size, for the battlers and PM this to them. Abilities and items can be chosen once you have your team.

Winter: Mienshao, Yanmega, Persian, [Gallade]
HKim: Gardevoir, Umbreon, Metagross, Weavile

Although Harry earned himself a slight advantage early, Winter scored a KO on both Gardevoir and Metagross, leaving Harry heavily weak to Fighting.

Umbreon and Weavile soon fell prey to Mienshao, who aptly Subbed then saw the battle through to its end.

Y'all probably have stuff scheduled, but this is just a reminder to get your battles done by Saturday @ 11:59pm EST! If any of y'all need to start on forum, lemme know & go ahead and do it. ;3 I don't want to have to disqualify anyone for lack of participation!!!

Alright, kiddies! Since everyone finished early, you get to do your editing early!!

You can now take the next 2 days to edit your lists for the tournament; remove things you don't feel would be as useful anymore, add things you've recently EM'd and now really want to use. If you're not interested in editing at all, that's fine too! I won't be posting a reminder before the editing period ends solely because it's completely optional anyways. I'll be posting the next round Monday, June 1st around midnight EST; this means you have until 11:59pm EST on Sunday the 31st to make changes to your lists.
