SYNTHESIS vs MISTRAL

Team Synthesis: Talonflame, Mawile, Lapras, (Swampert), Ninetales-Alolan, Heliolisk,
Team Mistral: Mienshao, Greninja, Crobat, Bronzong, Cradily, Weezing,

Talonflame straight up dominated Mistral's team, knocking 3.5/6 of out of commision. Mawile trolled Greninja with some Super Fang Shenanigans and Ninetales and Heliolisk finished Cradily. At that point it was 3 of Syn's pokemon vs Mistral's Weezing. It exploded on Lapras. GL in future endeavors!

Nitro: Slowbro, Reuniclus, Gyarados, Nidoking, [Sharpedo], [Tyranitar]
Mikey: Primarina, Milotic, Electivire, Heracross, Chesnaught, Venusaur

This started off slow as the bulky Pokemon fought, which ended up with Mikey taking the lead with a beefed up Milotic. The seasnake seemed insurmountable for a while but Gyarados phased it out, managed to set up on Venusaur and get a sneaky KO with Supersonic skydrop. With a moxie boost under its belt, Gyara began to tear through Mikey's team. A Bite flinch ensured Milotic got wrecked and the final hurdle was for Bounce to hit Heracross... and it did, gg!

ELROND vs MONBREY

Team Monbrey: Volcarona, Salamence, Incineroar, Excadrill, Hitmontop, Weavile
Team Elrond: Togekiss, Hawlucha, Roserade, Aromatisse, Dusknoir, Eelektross

Kinda sux since Elrond has been doing so many non tourney private preview randoms. I kinda rolled him a team that would normally be swept by mence, but Elrond got the max mileage he could out of it while Monbrey got some hella nice rolls, even if he didn't have certain items and abilities for his pokemon. Monbrey made some hella nice reads also made some hella risky plays--not all of which were succesful. Like his Volcarona just died attempting a quiver dance. Monbrey saved Salamence for the end, by then Eelectross had about 1/3 hp and Aromatisse had like 18%. They died to double edges. Good game for both players!!! I think this concludes round one?
