From that list, the referee will privately roll six Pokemon for each battler, from which point abilities and held items can be selected and the battle will continue as normal.

Team GMG: Togekiss, Espeon, Blaziken, Garchomp, Primarina, Mamoswine vs Team Shalee: Sceptile, Kingdra, Espeon, Swampert, Arcanine, Dragonite

Both teams were surprisingly even. Xali shut down a lot of Gray's shenanigans at the cost tons of damage to his mons. It could have gone either way and both players were on top of each others' sends. The funny thing is that I rolled gyarados for shalee, and that would have been an excellent member of the team, as arcanine couldn't do much against this particular line up. (He crossed it off his list). Ah well!!! Good luck in future endeavors...both of ya!

1) Holy crap, I actually reffed a meaningful battle
2) This was the only way I was going to be involved in a Tourney past Round 1 tbh
3) Julio was in control early on with 2 very quick KOs with just Rocks up in return which he then Defogged away before removing Raichu-A from play. Momentum was all on his side at this point and he made Ralin pay. Ended up as a 6-0 sweep after some very unlucky dice rolls for Ralin following some Paralysis fun. Props to Venusaur for the 1 turn cameo, between Roar & Dragon Tail.

I don't care what people say about Whimsicott. At least it doesn't know Pain Split. Nitro whittled down DP's team. "Mistake that affected absolutely nothing" of the match was when Nitro selected Psychic as a base move for Shattered Psyche on his Gardevoir despite getting Future Sight Level-Up.

Even if Syn didn't have Zapdos on his team he probably would have won. Ampharos took out half of Monbrey's team and the threat of Ditto kept Monbrey from setting up. Tossing out Stealth Rocks early on made the fight even more one sided.
