Gym Tournament Round Three

These are the semi-finals, the finals will be a round robin with the remaining three battlers. Everyone, here is the second round of the 2013 Gym Leader Tournament! The battle rules can be found below. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, this round will end at 8AM GMT+9:30 on the 18th of January, 2014. Please remember to post the battle logs in this thread. A short description is required, but you can keep if vague if the battlers wish it so.

I don't think we had a time as much as a Monbrey not being free on the weekend. All and all, it's been my fault the battle hasn't gotten done. On all day today hoping he pops on and we get this shizz on the road.

 

I vote that Ataro and I move on because we're the only ones who battled.

Aerodactyl, Archeops, Barbaracle, Lunatone, Rhyperior, [Aggron] vs Lopunny, Miltank, Porygon-Z, MegaKangaskhan, Tauros, [Ambipom]

GliscorMan massively outpredicted Ataro with Aerodactyl vs Lopunny, but then Ataro outpredicted GliscorMan with Miltank. Barbaracle took a Thunder Wave while Shell Smashing, but then got a crit Cross Chop making Counter not happen when it OHKO'd. Porygon-Z promptly missed a Thunder and got OHKO'd too. MegaKanga looked like it would turn things around, but then it took a Scary Face from Archeops and a 3 turn sleep from Lunatone, making it switch out to Tauros while Lunatone got up a Cosmic Power. Lunatone also got a Rock Polish on the Iron Head, then Baton Passed to Rhyperior while Tauros Subbed. Swords Dance while using Bulldoze, which didn't do much thanks to Sheer Force. Then there was a slight problem with the next turn since I missed Ataro wanting to change, but eventually it was a two hit Rock Blast that broke Sub and Scary Face, but then Swagger missed on the Rock Polish and Ataro forfeited.

That means that @CommBA; and @Monbrey; should definitely try to meet up and battle.

Infernape, Charizard, Talonflame, Rotom-Heat, [Blaziken], [Houndoom] vs. Sableye, Golurk, Gengar, Dusclops, Jellicent, Drifblim

It started out with a Magic Coated Will-O-Wisp (which obviously failed), followed by Sableye coming in on another one. A Protect later, Taunt and Overheat happened and Comm's Red Card really hurt him by clearing both the SpAtt-2 and Taunt1 as Burn killed Sableye. Charizard managed to kill Golurk, but took 95% (Hint: Solar Power + Life Orb is a bad idea) and a Stealth Rock. Gengar outsped and did that last 5%, bringing in Talonflame who scared away Gengar to Dusclops, then managed to kill it a few turns later thanks to a Rock Slide miss. Jellicent took a Toxic and killed off Talonflame, bringing in Rotom-Heat. Rotom did some damage and got a rise, barely survived a Hydro Pump, and healed up with Leftovers. Drifblim came in hoping for a Weakness Policy/Unburden activation, but instead switched in on a Protect. After finding out Monbrey was going for Pain Split a Protect later, CommBA forfeited.

Well for one thing I would have posted both logs there if you had made the thread there. For another thing, there's Felly and BlueTowel.

Rotom-Wash, Raichu, Manectric, Lanturn, Galvantula, Eelectric vs Alakazam, Whimsicott, Blaziken, Dragonite, Infernape, Metagross

Manectric and Alakazam faced off to begin the long and arduous battle... Manectric mega-evolved and used Bite, while Alakazam used Psychic, with Choice Specs for extra power. Then Manectric used Volt Switch to Raichu and Alakazam used Psychic again. Then Synthesis forfeited to go do other things.
