    Axion Vs Monbrey

Ax: Excadrill, Aggron, Empoleon, Aegislash, Lucario, Mawile
Mon: Infernape, Chandelure, Darmanitan, Blaziken, [Charizard], [Rotom-H]

Considering how horrible the match up was, Axion taking out three of Monbrey's Pokemon was quite a success. Then, nubchicken came out when Empoleon was sent to sleep. Axion could have turned it around with priority and lorb recoil possibly but I think he had accepted his fate by that stage.

    Mon: 3,000
    Ax: 1,500

    Elysia vs WeTastePies...

Elysia: Murkrow, Greninja, Sableye, Drapion, Absol, Houndoom
WTP: Whimsicott, Togekiss, Blaziken, Infernape, Scizor, Greninja

WTP had control of this match for the majority of its duration, despite a few mistakes brought to us by Generation VI mechanic changes. That said, Elysia held her own, and in the end it came down to Houndoom vs Togekiss, which Togekiss won. Good plays by all, despite this match being one of the largest chores I've done in a long time.

    WTP: 3000 + advances
    Elysia: 1500
    Me: 3000

Kumquat Gym's Ash K. Vs. Sunnyshore Gym's Synthesis

Ash: Blaziken, Charizard, Cradily, Dragonite, Gliscor, Mamoswine
Syn: Rotom-Wash, Manectric, Eelektross, Jolteon, Raichu, [Heliolisk]

Every year there comes a call, flooding over the regions and compelling Gym Leaders to test their might against one another. This year, the call came to two familiar figures. One, a Trainer striving to be the very best, discarded his feathery mantle and took up the banner of the island of Kumquat, bringing with him a variety of Pokemon. The other, drifting from type to type, finally settled down in his home of Sunnyshore, where the electric currents shine nearly brighter than the sun. The battlers were no strangers to one another, remembering legendary fights that demanded endurance for nine hours. With grim faces, the two engaged in combat...

And almost tried to beat their Elite Four time limit, clocking in at five and a half hours, two and a half which passed before a single Pokemon fell. Blaziken and Rotom-Wash led the charge, with Blaziken retreating in fear of a water blast. With few allies to turn to, since over half of them were weak to the liquid pressure, Cradily was called upon. However, Rotom, predicting this, created a Substitute to protect itself. Then, it called upon ghastly fires to burn the foe as Cradily broke through the copy. Retreating then, Eelektross took Rotom's place in facing Cradily. The moss rock thought about setting up, but then switched out to Gliscor instead, who almost got its wings snapped in half from the incoming Super Fang. Upon Eel using a Gastro Acid, Gliscor then retreated out to Dragonite in fear of its own poison turned against it. But Eel was having none of that. It boldly snapped forward, nailing Dragonite in the face with another Super Fang.

Ash considered the risk in keeping his dragon around, hoping to keep his Weakness Policy secure. However, Syn was adamant, commanding a Dragon Tail in order to wisk that dragon away while it Roosted. Then, tragedy struck, and Eelektross missed its mark. Things looked bad for the electric leader, but he shook his head and commanded a repeat. Ash, knowing his foe was probably plotting this, counterattacked with a Dragon Tail of his own. Then, the wicked witch of the frozen forest came down and said "NO! THERE WILL BE NO FAVORING IN THIS NIGHT, WRETCH. BEGONE!"

Command spoken, the spirit in the dice flicked her magic just so, and, because of the icy flare, Dragonite flinched, sliding past Eelektross without harming it. Seeing its opportunity, Eel lashed out with Dragon Tail, striking Dragonite and activating its Weakness Policy seconds before tossing it aside. Cradily was shuffled in, and then the stall war commenced. The war was long and laborious, enduring for hours, from the ninth move to the twenty-second. Stats went something like this:

    Cradily 23.40% [Def/SpDef/Spe+2][BRN][Ingrained][Bind1] | Eelektross 100% [Atk/Def/Acc+1][Sub]

And then there was much Restalking. Unfortunately, Cradily could not quite remember what useful techniques it knew while it was slumbering, and it eventually went down to the electric lamprey after coating it with a Gastro Acid. Dragonite came back out to avenge its fallen comrade, but Eel was keen. On the predicted Haze, the fog of war, Eel sent for electric waves to bind and paralyze the dragon. Then, it lashed out with an icy Hidden Power. When Dragonite tried to ring the bell of rejuvenation, it found it could not move, and Eel finished it off.

Then, trumpets rang and fires raged as Blaziken retook the field, its eyes blazing with revenge. Knowing he had few options, Syn ordered an Aqua Tail. Unfortunately, Blaziken's fires were so strong that Eel couldn't conjure enough water and missed its attack, helplessly watching as Blaziken played with swords and prepared for slaughter. Eel fought bravely, but had to be sacrificed. Manectric came in then, ready to prove itself to its master. Reacting to Syn's Mega Ring, Manectric Digivolved Mega-evolved into its superior form, Intimidating the Blaziken. After enduring an Earthquake, it used its powerful bolts to attack Blaze and use it as a springboard to return to syn. Rotom took its place. Ash debated the merit in attempting a Hi Jump Kick, knowing the frosty spirit of the dice was watching and waiting her next chance to strike. However, he went for it, and it hit! Rotom, however, survived, and blasted Blaziken with a Hydro Pump, dousing its fires for the remainder of the struggle.

Then, new fires started to burn as Charizard was released from its red and white prison. Rotom fled, fearing reaction to a Mega Ring of Ash's own, calling on Raichu to help. The electric mouse did so, even though it was not Caramel Chu Chu. Still, it stood up bravely to the dragon as it Mega-evolved, tanking a Dragon Claw and smirking as its Red Card activated it and sent it flying. Mamoswine was dragged out, so Raichu fled, passing the reins to Manectric who gave one last Intimidating growl before falling to an Avalanche. Rotom was not afraid of the large icy mammoth, however, coming in boldy to pain split. Charizard X came to its defense, but instead got sapped.

Ash then wavered a minute, realizing he had not unlocked Charizard's true potential in dragon strength, knowing the mega could not prove its Outrage to the enemy. Instead, it called upon the power of the Sun, intensifying the rays of light. Rotom struck out with another paralyzing Thunder Wave then, crippling its foe. As Charizard charged up a Solarbeam, Rotom switched out, calling in Jolteon, who took the sunlit attack quite nicely. However, Jolteon was then hurt with a Dragon Claw as it brought on the rain. Seeing his opportunity in that a Quick Attack could take care of the electric fox, Ash decided to command a Dragon Dance as Jolteon used Shadow Ball. However, it was not to be, as Charizard fell to the crippling electricity. Jolteon's snack took it safely out of Quick Attack KO range. Then, as Charizard tried to Roost and recover its strength, paralysis struck again, letting Jolteon chip away at his health until it used Quick Attack of its own to slay the mighty dragon.

Then, Mamoswine came in and tried to forget about the horrible battle, but its Amnesia didn't last for long as the yellow fox made it become drowsy. Jolteon tried to set up a Sub, but the mammoth attacked, shattering it just before falling asleep. Still, Jolteon would not fall. With a mighty Roar, it shuffled Mamoswine out into Gliscor. Passing the Baton to Rotom, Jolteon left the battle. Gliscor, seeing its window, tried to set up and stall out Hydro Pump, but it didn't work. As Gliscor knocked off Rotom's leftovers, a well-timed Hydro Pump cleaned it out. And then there was one. Mamoswine preferred to go in its sleep as Rotom stole its health with Pain Split and then used Hydro Pump to wash it away.

In the end, the island warriors were defeated, their Kumquat banner torn to ribbons. Sunnyshore shone like a beacon, claiming victory for a second time since that legendary night.

Overall, it was a long, but interesting, match. Syn predicted pretty much every move, Ash could've made some safer plays, and we found out my dice hate 90 accuracy moves.

    End stats:
    5.5 hours
    47 turns
    Ash 0 - Syn 4

Syn Wins and gets 3,000 + Advances
Ash Loses and gets 1,500 + Knocked Out
    I should get 3,000

    Unpaid Tournament Wages: 3,000

    Felly Vs Siless

Felly: Krookodile, Sableye, Hydreigon, Houndoom, [Sharpedo], [Cacturne]
Siless: Meowstic-m, Gallade, Gardevoir, Swoobat, Delphox, Metagross

There were a lot of weird plays, moreso from Felly initially, and Siless did get quite unlucky with Crunch giving a defense drop on Meowstic, smacking every turn after Confuse Ray and getting a sdef drop on Gardevoir from Hydreigon's Flash Cannon, but this didn't go too shabbily. Gardevoir pulled off a mini sweep taking out the sleeping Krookodile, Sableye and Hydreigon, but it was nothing compared to Houndoom's. After mega evolving, it was able to outspeed and OHKO Gardevoir and Swoobat, flinched Delphox with Dark Pulse before finishing it off, and knocking Metagross down to 3%, taking an EBelt Hammer Arm and Bullet Punch relatively well, and finishing off.

    Proto Vs Hannah

Proto: Jolteon, Eelektross, Raichu, Rotom-w, Electivire, Luxray
Hannah: Rotom-w, Greninja, Starmie, Gyarados, [Quagsire], [Azumarill]

This battle was really long and very unpredictable for the most part. Both leaders made some great plays and predictions, but both made equally as many silly and pointless moves dragging it out a little. Hannah's Washtom trolled a bit, then Proto's Raichu statted up and seemed ready to sweep, then there was a stall war between Starmie and Rotom-w and then Starmie refused to die and started cosmic powering on Electivire and Luxray a little pointlessly since it just got parred and KO'd. Gyara mega evolved and finished the Electivire and Scarfed Jolteon.

    Hannah: 3,000 + advances
    Proto: 1,500
    Me: 3,000

You guys should really have at least attempted to schedule your battles by now, through VM or PM if not AIM. If anyone has been having any trouble meeting up with their opponent, you need to get in contact with me through VM or PM right now. In the case that I need to deal with a pair that hasn't battled, I will almost exclusively choose to pass the person that has actively tried to schedule something / came to see me about it first. I am on AIM infrequently, so VM or PM is your best bet.

@ChainReaction01; Ok so uhh definitely can't compete with Winter's log especially not at 3am @[email protected] it got to the point where I was posting stats in FFA and Battle instead of Battle 3 but I survived! lol but enough me lets get down to business (inb4 I start singing Mulan):

@MuddyMudkip; and the Shalour City Fighting Gym Vs. @Neonsands; and the Olivine City Steel Gym!

Well, right off the bat Skarmory became frozen which allowed Muddy's Machamp to set up a ton and deal plenty of damage. But then the iron bird thawed and Roared (squawked?) the four-armed behemoth back to his Pokeball. In came Conkeldurr who immediately switched out to Lucario. Skarmory ended up KOing itself from Brave Bird recoil. Then Metagross came in. This frigging thing. First, it Tricked its Choice Scarf onto Lucario who became locked into Shadow Ball. Meta took this opportunity to set up a bunch while Resting off the damage. After plenty of Shadow Balls, switching into Scrafty and Gallade, and tons of Dark-type moves thrown into Metagross' iron face, the end result was a Metagross with +2 Attack, Speed and Accuracy as well as +4 Defense. Metagross? No. At that point, it was Megagross. (boo, Swifty your puns are terrible!) Anyway, Metagross swept from there with a series of Zen Heabutts and Aerial Aces. Also it was 3am and Machamp had switch out with a Sub on, so this happened:

    swiftgallade46 3:06 am
    Metagross uses Aerial Ace
    sub breaks
    wait
    derp
    stoopid calc
    go away sub!

Yeah, me reffing at 3am wasn't too pretty. Anyway! OUTCOME is a victory for Neonsands and the Olivine Gym! Congrats, neon!

    Neon gets 3K and advances!
Muddy gets 1.5K and, unfortunately, is out.

    Winter Vs CommBa

Winter: Tentacruel, Nidoking, Scolipede, Crobat, Drapion, Gengar
CommBa: Drifblim, Sableye, Golurk, Dusclops, Aegislash, Gengar

This was a really close battle and both battlers played really well. Winter did get quite unfortunate with smacking three or four times and rolls just not going in her favour really, but that wasn't too crucial to the outcome imo.

Tentacruel and Drifblim started off, and presumbly predicting the Weakness Policy/Unburden strategy (that I never got to try on Slurpuff btw), Winter went with Toxic stalling until Hex could KO. Sableye came in, and Red carded Nidoking in, while knocking off the lorb. Confuse Ray and Icy Wind brought Nidoking down to really low health before Sableye was dispatched, but then Golurk came in and statted up, but when Winter went to roar she smacked both times. Sash scolipede came in and after two turns outsped +4 Golurk, baton passed the atk/spd+2 to Crobat, who took out the Iron Giant with its bravery.

Crobat was within Aegislash's priority KO, so switched to Drapion, but Aegislash actually went for Autototototomize, then got an Iron Head flinch, and another in before Drapion could Roar it out. Dusclops came in, but got taunted as it meant to troom. Knock Off was Drapion's last attack before falling to an Earthquake. Gengar came in, mega evolved, and KO'd with Shadow Ball but not before taking a Shadow Sneak. Mega Gengar then went for the Will o Wisp instead of the Shadow Ball on Aegislash, meaning it was KO'd by Aegi's Shadow Ball. Crobat came back in and tried to burn stall, but Aegi got a special defense drop, so winter sacked Scolipede to bring the bat back in, but it got another Special Defense drop. Then Winter went for the Hypnosis forgetting that Aegi was already burned, letting one final Shadow Ball KO it.

Tentacruel was forced, but looked ready to wall with leftovers and Rain Dish healing it, but CommBa switched in his last Pokemon, Gengar, on the rain dance. Before CommBa sent his move, everyone knew what was coming. So, after the Perish Song, with no options left, Winter forfeited. GG!

    CommBa: 3,000 + advances
    Winter: 1,500
    Me: 3,000

@Airik; and the Eterna City Grass Gym Vs. @Akinai; and the Ecruteak City Ghost Gym!

My dice played a big part in Airik's downfall. From Freezing, to missing to crits for Akinai they never really swung in his direction. However, Airik's team would not let troll dice stop them putting up an impressive fight! Whimsicott especially caught much of Akinai's team offguard and Sceptile proved very threatening as well. Akinai's Froslass proved deadly in the end. After setting up Hail, Blizzard took a huge tole on Airik's team even managing to defeat Mega Venusaur without a scratch, and Mega Banette finished the job and sealed the deal causing Airik to forfeit at the last second.

Outcome is a victory for Akinai and the Ecruteak City Gym. Congratulations, Aki!

I don't think I can do another Mega-log at the moment. It was pretty back and forth for a while, but then Crobat lived and Attracted Kingdra, and it managed to heal off enough and damage Kingdra to the point that they both went down. Then, Tentacruel just wouldn't die. It took out a lot of SLC's team until Feraligatr was left. Unfortunately, it's not EM'd very well so Venomoth easily finished it off.
