Gym Tournament 2011: First Round

Okay, this is the first round in the Gym Tournament. Since this is the first round and Christmas is coming up, everyone has exactly ten days from when this post goes up to finish their battles. Battle rules and payout are below. All logs must be posted in this thread so I can easily keep track of who is in this tournament. If anyone wishes to pull out of the tournament, please do me the courtesy of letting me know as opposed to just waiting for the ten days to burn out.

~Neon got off to a good start with Skarmory, out maneuvering Bronzong. Skarmory Spiked on the Lucario switch in and set up, and Nitro wasn't able to recover. His Scizor finally brought down Skarmory at the end, but Lucario cleaned up with a Blaze Kick.~

~Xatu and Starmie tricked each other their own Choice items right at the start for some lols. Chris managed to get a bit of an edge on TE at the start, before TE pushed back. But then Chris' Starmie got in there and started wreaking havoc. TE put up a great fight with Swampert, but it couldn't do enough against Xatu, Starmie, and Slowbro combined.~
