On the other side of the battlefield, Darian eyes the Taillow warily. A small Pokemon stands at his feet, studying the opponent quietly along with him.
"Okay, Rosemary. Looks like we're at a disadvantage here. We'll have to rely on a bit of luck. You can do it, though. I know it!"

"Chiko." The Chikorita chirps quietly, sending a smile up to its trainer, appreciative of the confidence.

Darian nods at it, a smile slowly spreading across his face, "Okay then! Get in there, little amiga!" Darian gestures dramatically toward the opponent. The Chikorita charges into the battlefield at his word, awaiting the command for its first attack.

(Female Chikorita, Ability: Overgrow.)

"Rosemary, it's a flying type attack, like we figured! Try to minimize the hit by getting out of the way and throwing up a Reflect!" Darian called out as Rosemary began to glow with the energy used in creating the wall against physical attacks.

Ducked behind the wall, Rosemary nods, agreeing with the choice. Closing its eyes for just a moment as Tobias circles, she focuses in on the sun's rays.

The taillow flew up into the sky then dove down and hit the chikorita.

Concentrating on the sun again, he saw her leaf begin to glow as she absorbed energy.
