Bronzor, start off with an Extrasensory attack.

 

Bronzor and Togepi are sent.

With a honing of its skills, the metal disk focuses, igniting its eyes with pale blue energy. It gives a cry as it attacks Penelope's senses. (Uses Extrasensory)

The small egg Pokemon cries out and tries to make the sensation stop, curling her ears downward and unable to move. (Flinches. Roll: 5)

"All right, Bronzor! That's the way to do it," I called as I decided on my next attack. The mirror, floating some distance from the Togepi, waited stoically as I made up my mind. After a few moments of contemplating, I said, "Try setting up a Safeguard."

Distressed at my Pokemons failed attack I yelled "Quick Penelope, use Yawn!"

The blue disk bobs happily at its Trainer's praise, eager to do more work. It then stills, and its eyes glow with energy as a ring of thin white light surrounds it. (Uses Safeguard)

The egg Pokemon tries her best too. On her Trainer's command, she takes a big breath and blows out a pink bubble. It lazily wobbs toward the disk, but open touching teh white light, it bursts, leaving the Bronzor unaffected! (Uses Yawn--blocked by Safeguard)

I snarled in unison with egg pokemon standing before me. "Penlope attack it with Ancient Power" I yelled.

Grinning, I called out for Bronzor to use Extrasensory once more. I wasn't going to let Bronzor pull any punches.

The blue disk spun upside down and around, happily on a roll in its battle. It focused again, its eyes lighting up in blue as it attacked the egg's senses. (Uses Extrasensory)

Penelope isn't falling for that again, however, and concentrates very hard. Then, pointed stones float up from the ground, cloaked in mysterious energy. They fly toward the disk and hit it with a solid 'thwap'! (No Flinch. Roll: 24. Uses Ancient Power)

"Yay Penelope" I shout overjoyed with our first succesful attack, "Knock em' senseless with yawn"

(Look who's baaaack, prepare for trouble...)

With a grin, I said, "Bronzor, have another go with Extrasensory."

The blue disk focuses once more, sending the same mental blast in the egg's direction. (Uses Extrasensory. No Flinch. Roll: 96)

The Togepi takes a deep breath and lets out a mighty yawn, but again, like last time, once the pink bubble comes into contact with the ring of light around the disk, it pops harmlessly. (Uses Yawn--blocked by Safeguard)

"Penelope use double edge" I shout knowing that my Pokemon's health is slipping through my fingers like sand

"Bronzor, why don't we have some fun with Penelope? Use Confuse Ray."

 

The spinning disk is happy to comply with its Trainer's commands. With a twist and a flourish, it releases orbs of a silvery and yellow color that surround the Egg Pokemon and spin, making the Togepi dizzy. (Uses Confuse Ray)

Entranced by the spinning lights, Penelope becomes distracted and only responds when she hears her Trainer's voice. Shaking herself, she takes a step forward and tries to remember what she was doing, but as she swings out, she ends up falling back and hurting herself. (Smacks. Roll: 25)
