    Akinai nodded to Karas, then nudged at a small Pokemon that was riding on her backpack. "This here is Trapinch. I haven't decided on a nickname for her yet, but she'll get one eventually." As she finished, Trapinch jumped down from the backpack and readied into a battle stance in front of Gastly.

    "Let's begin...Trapinch, start things out with Crunch!"

    Akinai did a double take on the Gastly, surprised that non-Ground type moves could do that much damage.

    "Looks like your jaws aren't just for show after all Trapinch! Let's go with a Faint Attack to make sure the final blow hits!"
