Akinai vs. BTJoker

Akinai faced her new opponent and nodded to a small Pokemon that was latched to her backpack. Trapinch dropped down from the pack and turned to face the other trainer.

"Trapinch(Female, Hyper Cutter)will be my Pokemon for this battle. Ready when you are!"

 

B.T. Joker (heh, I'll eventually make a name for him to match!) came forth with Tyson, his Tyrogue. Simultaneously the two clenched their fists. It would be a first battle for the little guy, but B.T. believed in Tyson, knowing that one day, even if it took a league of struggles, he would come out on top.

"Tyson'll do his best in this fight. Go forth, Tyson, and fake him out!" With his words the little humanoid Pokemon rushed forth at his foe.

Akinai realized her mistake too late: she had been too slow in issuing a command! She quickly tried to remedy her mistake.

"Trapinch, try to pull off an Earthquake!"

Akinai gritted her teeth as she watched Trapinch flinch from the move. That's what I get for being slow... "Try to use Earthquake again!"

 

Excited to be off to a good start, B.T. smiled and threw forth his hand.

"Tyson, now Tackle the Trapinch!"
