Tyranitar got in a good EQ before being KO'd by Close Combat. Crobat came in to finish off Monferno. Magmortar uses Con Ray to get the boost right off the bat, and ended up KOing the bat with Fire Blast and Fire Punch. Kabutops knew what to do and defeated Mag with Mudshot. Blaziken came in and used Sky Uppercut and Double kick, earning an easy defeat. Corsola tried using Earth Power, but Monebrey switched to Charizard beforehand. Zard was still fainted by Power Gem and Rock Blast, however Blaziken came back to win with Double Kick.

Bronzong tried its best to take out Charizard by itself, but ended up using Explosion as a last resort, KOing them both. Swampert and Chomp were brought in, and Swampy froze Chomp with a single Ice Beam. Swamp switched to Ambipom, which upped its speed and finished off the dragon with Return. Ambipom took its time with Crobat, Paralyzing it and wittling it to a low health. When it was KO'd, Swampert returned and won the battle with Ice Beam.
