Gengar used Confuse Ray and Dark Pulse flinches to take out Lucario. Crobat also used Con Ray on Garchomp, then poisoned it with Poison Fang, which eventually brought it to its end. Crobat held out against Gallade, managing to take out a large portion of its health with Con Ray and Air Slash, but it was eventually taken out. Gallade was easy pickings for Nidoking, though, as one faster Earth Power managed to KO, giving Ryoku the win.

Sec was good at predictions, using Counter when HiPS used Earthquake, KOing it. Staraptor survived a Stone Edge, finishing off Nape with Wing Attack. Electivire gave Star a good old T-bolt, forcing in Lucario. Learning from Sec, HiPS used Counter of Vire's EQ as well, forcing in Meta. It was close, but Metagross's Earthquake finished the battle, giving Sec the win.

Lots of switching. Gallade used a Swords Dance, making Cloyster switch out to Gyarados which took a Close Combat. Aqua Tail fainted Gallade, thus Lucario was sent out. Several switches later, and it was D-nite vs Swampert. Dragonite got in 2 Dragon Dances and ripped apart Swampert with Outrage. It took out most of Cloyster`s HP, yet Ice Beam was enough to take down the Dragon-type. Lucario finally did it and used a fast Aura Sphere, giving Ash K the win.
