The battle opened up with Tyranitar against Gliscor, with an endless Sandstorm being brewed. Earthquake did a decent hit to Tyranitar who danced. Aerodactyl was switched in on an incoming Ice Fang, with its Yache Berry dampening the hit. Tyranitar was then swapped for Salamence to avoid an Earthquake. Aerodactyl set up a Reflect while Salamence missed an Aqua Tail. Both Pokemon proceeded to set up, with Aerodactyl subbing and Salamence dancing. A Dragon Claw broke the sub, but Salamence fell victim to Roar, which forced Starmie into the fray. Aerodactyl created a sub while Ice Beam broke it, locking Starmie into Ice Beam courtesy of its Choice Specs. Aerodactyl went on a bit of a stall, alternating Roost and Substitute to have the sand damage Starmie to under 2/3rds of its health. Sec finally decided to switch Salamence back in as Aerodactyl set up another sub. Aerodactyl then connected with Stone Edge, with the sub breaking from Dragon Claw. Another Stone Edge sent Salamence packing. Weavile came in and tried to Swords Dance, but was roared out for Tyranitar. Tyranitar fell to a Taunt before dropping Aerodactyl with an Ice Fang. Gliscor was sent back out for the kill with Earthquake. Sec sent out Starmie, now unbound from its Choice Specs, but Pidge switched to and sacrificed Charizard in order to force the Choice Specs to lock on to Surf. Gyarados was sent out and danced while taking a Surf. Gyarados then subbed while Gengar was brought in. Aqua Tail disposed of Gengar in one hit thanks to Gyarados’ Life Orb. Weavile was brought back in but fell to a Stone Edge. Spiritomb was brought out as Sec’s last Pokemon and took a Waterfall from Gyarados whose killing spree was ended courtesy of its Life Orb. Togekiss came out to finish Spiritomb with a Flamethrower. Starmie was then forced in for Pidge to play around with. Pidgeot was brought in to gain a battle, and fell to Ice Beam. Togekiss then came back out with Extremespeed while an Ice Beam froze it. However, it was only a minor inconvenience to Pidge who lost a Lum Berry in the process, as Starmie was KOed by the raging sand. Pidge's Gym remains undefeated.

Ebail called it quits with only Crobat against all three of Monbrey's Pokemon.
